I am going to need replace quite a few deck boards on my kids handicap ramp. I have replaced a few past so I'm fairly confident I can do it again. I have a miter saw now so I was wondering, is it better to get a board from the store that is, or is near the size I need and cut off a little scrap or get a longer board and cut it up, for multiple pieces. I'm figuring the shorter boards would be better but would be a higher cost. Thoughts?

It's been too long since I have been to the Minnesota State fair and now my kid wants to go. During a general hotel search today, I noticed that the best Western como park ( bandana square) closed last year and in the past, it was my favorite as they had a hotel shuttle straight the front door. Does anyone know (at least last year), if any hotels had direct shuttles to the state fairgrounds. Not just to the bus stops. Thank you

So my MIL bought a grave marker for my FIL and the 3rd party seller sent her the one for someone else. They want her to send it, on her dime I believe, to the person it was supposed to go to, and they'll send her the correct one and give her 50% off. I understand mistakes happen, but I think they at minimum should send her a label. But does it look shady to anyone else?
Hello, I have a question if I can run wire here? I want to run wire from one room to another but the stairs are in my way. Can I run them under the stairs and make a small bore hole through the center of the stringer or is best option to run the wire all the way around the stairs. Doing the first, would save me about 15ft of wire. I would have a licensed electrician hook the wire up at the panel and at the box I would install. Thanks
