These were the files youd get back in the day when you tried to download slayers episodes, they were either taken from a fansubbed vhs tape, the english dub vhs or the international channel airing,

quality ranged from great to not so good depending on the copy,

anyways i lost these a few years back from disc rot and hdd crashes have tried looking everywhere for them but to no luck unfortunately, i have a AMV which uses clips of this also 4 minutes of an episode which is where the screenshots originate from

hoping someone here has them and is able to share! :)

these were the files you would come across on sailor moon fan sites or general anime sites of the era also file sharing programs like napster kazaa and limewire

fansubs were much more common but these were quite popular to come across as well i used to have most of season 3 and 4 taken from these copies

I lost them awhile back from hdd crashes and have had no luck finding them ive looked literally everywhere for them old file sharing programs that still work ftp directories etc, i did get close via some fan sites which had download links for the episodes but they were not archived unfortunately

Before anyone asks reason i want them is this is how i first watched sailor moon from start to finish around 2004 watched some of it on tv before but it was sporadic

I am also aware of some taken from a VHS tape done this decade on archive.org those are not the same i am looking for the original files uploaded on websites or youtube in the 2000s they have a much more different look to them

i found some that used footage of UPN but the logo is barely visible so that is why i didnt include it,

these were the fansubs youd see of older anime back in the day on file sharing networks, they usually were not digital instead ripped from a vhs tape and put out as 100mb asf or 40mb rm files, i lost many of these years ago from disc rot/hdd crashes and am feeling nostalgic for them, some of these had better translations then the modern releases as well, i do still have a few so i could do a trade if anyones interested in that, but if anyone has some and can share with me i would greatly appreciate that,

back in the 2000s before youtube (and even for many many years after) promo trailers and tv spots of new smallville episodes were posted on fan sites, forums, and file sharing programs usually in the avi mpg or wmv file format,

heres some screenshots of what they look like, been looking for these for years all the old fan sites have been wiped out, kryptonsite never hosted these, and of course almost no one uses file sharing software any more

These are the files that were on old file sharing programs most commonly Napster Usenet limewire and edonkey quality wasn’t amazing on them but the ones I had still looked good they were vcd svcd .mpg and .avi divx so ready to be burnt to cd r and played on dvd player,

Unfortunately I lost these from disc rot I’ve tried searching literally EVERYWHERE old forums old torrent sites dc++ etc no luck whatsoever so I figured maybe someone here has these files and is able to share them, these were also shared on you tube in the very early days of that site so mid 2000s chances are if you downloaded stargate from there around this time it was this version

Love this series this is one of my favorites of all time, i used to have burnt discs of seasons 3-7 taken from both channels wb and upn, recorded off the premieres

unfortunately lost them from a hdd crash and disc rot a while back only managed to recover a few episodes i've been looking for these older rips for a few years now including the most obscure corners of the internet to no luck so at this point i wouldnt mind paying someone for the files if they have them,

Love this series one of my favorite dramas and extremely underrated i used to burn discs of it weekly taken from the broadcast right as new episodes aired, but those died of disc rot a few years back and the drive they were stored on died as well,

These were scene groups who back in the early 2000s digitally capped shows off of digital cable or satellite and they would then leak/sometimes had them distributed on Usenet where they then found there way to various p2p networks like edonkey and kazaa these releases were generally higher quality with a superior bitrate then the .Avi/divx releases of tv rips that are preserved on the pirate bay

also for certain older series these are the only tv rips that were done

anyways these are pretty much impossible to find links for now and trust me I would know i have looked on most of the old p2p networks that still work was only able to find a few on winmx I am also on some private dc++ hubs and a few good private trackers a large reason for these being hard to find is it's all because of a rule which limits TV rips on one of them/trumping releases for highest quality which is understandable but at the same time the svcd ones look very good, the other one does have a few good ones however

if anyone has some of them saved digitally or on cd/r and is able to share/rip them i would really appreciate that thanks!
