Looking for a distro that I can mostly use with a controller, but also works great with traditional mouse and keyboard, except steamOS

I mostly just play games and browse the web (mostly youtube) on my pc, on windows I have an app called controller companion that lets me use my xbox controller to control the mouse and gives a virtual keyboard, it's decent enough for when I am feeling too lazy to pick up my mouse and keyboard

Giving away these dirty gaming headphones, they work pretty good but are not hygienic so if someone wants to clean them or take out the speakers, take them for free, DM me

I will be saying my goodbyes to Chennai and It would just hurt me inside if I threw them away while they still work so if you guys have some other plans for these, like reusing the speakers inside or replace the cushions, feel free to take these away from my hands.

Audio quality is pretty good and it's RGB and company is Ant Esports

What's better if I want to play online? Release or Pre-release?

Reinstalling the game after a long time to play online, will NOT be playing much offline so need to know if most servers are on pre-release version or the release version

Audio on linux for my laptop is terrible compared to windows, tried everything I could, (Details in body)

Audio is the last straw that's keeping me from switching from windows.

My laptop, HP Pavillion gaming 15-ec2xxx, has a much better and deeper audio when using windows.

Realtek ALC285 audio codec

Gemini says B&O Audio driver are responsible for the good quality but even after hours fidgeting with EasyEffects I can't get it to sound as good, even with online preset literally called B&O preset

Already tried:

EasyEffects, tried wayyy too many presets but it just either isn't as good, or only sounds good in certain audio types (music with loads going on sounds ok but quiter dialogues in shows sound significantly low quality)

Google Gemini with antigravity to figure out the difference between windows and Linux and it suggested using Convolver plugin and Impulse Response or something like that which helped alot but is still sub par in quiter dialogues scenes

Also checked in case Pipewire wasn't using the full but rate sending audio to the speakers, but it seemed alright
