It's been such a joy finally getting things to grow. I live in the high desert and have done SO much work to get things to grow. The garden finally started taking off this year. I've gotten several pumpkins - two are actually a great size, corn, flowers, peas, and so much more. Next year, more of everything 😊

I've spent several years tilling deeply, I incorporated a whole truck bed load of horse manure (free, thanks to my neighbors!), tilled in peat moss (not something I would use regularly, just wanted to get it in there once to help with water retention while I waited for my first year of cover crop to till into the soil), and water with humic acid a few times per season.

I did get some buckwheat and clover in before the cold set in to help with weeds and do some nitrogen fixing. Next year I'm finally going to plant in the ground (raised beds and bags this year, aside from corn and pumpkins), and I plan to load the top up with clover and sweet alyssum to keep choking out weeds (mostly bindweed).

I have started working on another big patch and plan to do three sisters there next year and I can't wait!

I love being able to watch something that I might not be able to find streaming in the kitchen while I make breakfast.

For a full grown corn snake, eventually?

I was driving past Dollar General and had to u turn to get a picture of this.

Can anyone tell me where this shirt came from/who is on it? Chat came back with "it's a grunge style shirt with some women on the front, and Google told me it was Fiona Apple, then Selena Gomez, then a few others. It's obviously none of those.

More expensive than I usually like, but supporting a small business and it's X-Files. Anybody have the series on DVD and want to get rid of it?

It's hard to tell but the gold actually has a shimmer to it.

At $.30 each (I only had $28 on me and the lady was nice enough to agree to that price despite the $.50 per item price - she wanted to get rid of things) you just grab 😊 Some of these are backups or Blu-ray copies where I had DVD copies before. The "Thrills and Chills" one had the newer Pet Semetary (I have the original and not the new one. I generally find there's something to appreciate with all versions of good stories, even if the version isn't the best.), A Quiet Place (double for me), and two movies I've never seen - Overloads and Crawl. There are a lot in here I haven't seen and look forward to watching!

Here's a gem for you in the meantime.

This was essentially $0.30... I had $28 on me and the last at the sale who kindly sold them all to me for that price was telling her (husband?) earlier that she just wants it all gone (he bought a storage unit).

Bottom of the mug says "Birch Bark Dept 56"

CDs were $.50 and DVDs were $1.

Can anyone tell me if this is a first pressing of this album?

Cut before they're spent to enjoy indoors then collect the petals.
