The Good

This game is near perfect, it has a fantastic story about how the corrupt system can forcibly corrupt its indiviuals, CJ isn't just a normal criminal like other GTA protagnists in other games, he's the victim of a corrupt police system that forced him to go rouge.

The game showcases how a corrupt system can overcome any indiviual regardless of how honorable and moral they are, C.R.A.S.H corrupt police unite led by Tenpenny punishes and frames innocent civillains, set gangs against each other throats, profits from drug dealing activities in the city, and silences any witnesses and erases any evidences.

The corrupt system forced Smoke and Ryder to betray their friends, forced CJ to go Rouge and forced Hernandez to get his hand dirty transforming him from a good cop to a corrupt cop and imprisoned Sweet, this is excellent storywriting.

Not to mention the ending, the ending was fantastic Los Santos revolting against the police and Tenpenny, and Tenpenny dying in the middle of the chaos at the hands of a revolution.

This is probably the best storyline in its genere, the only thing that comes close is Cyberpunk 2077 it introduced a corrupt system led by corpos while GTA SA corrupt system was led by police.

This perfect story deserves a complete remake from scratch with modern graphics (not the defective edition), however fitting 3 different cities with modern graphics may be very challenging and near impossible.

The Bad

the gameplay was good I'm not going to call it perfect though, there are some questionable gameplay design decisions, you can gamble up to 1 million but you can't buy minigun from ammu nation ??????, there's a mod garage for racing cars but you can't use these racing cars for actual racing they are there to maximize your sex appeal, that's a trash game design considering the fact that GTA VC had this this felt like a downgrade in GTA VC I unlocked hotring and then used it to clear all races this isn't possible in GTA SA??????

The Ugly

The game is filled with glitches here and there and bugs, the most notable one was the mouse bug where it mulfunctions when you enter the menu screen using [esc] key several times, as an authentic buyer I opned a support techincal ticket with Rockstar techincal support team, I expected that this issue will be fixed quickly since I use Rockstar own game launcher to play the game, passed 1 week and after many failed troubleshooting steps the team didn't even attempt to reproduce the issue on their own machines using their own rockstar game launcher ???!??!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the issue is still open and pending.

This is 100% trash techincal customer support that basically doesn't match the price of the original GTA trilogy.

and before you comment mods don't work with genuine GTA game from Rockstar game launcher the launcher forcibly overrides any modified file and the executable file of GTA SA launcher doesn't support any mods.

this is alarming sign for GTA 6, I mean GTA SA doesn't exceed 6 GB of storage how Rockstar will handle GTA 6 bugs with a game with a size that'll exceed 100 GB of storage ???????????

I liked the gameplay of Vice City, to be a criminal drug lord of Vice City who controls its world from the shadows, building your criminal empire, good money grinding mechanisms, balanced well designed game, this game get a lot of things right.

Also its story is compelling it takes a lot of twists and turns, at the start of the game you want to complete a drug deal, then you it goes wrong and you seek to pay your debts to the mafia boss, then you plan to take over the criminal underworld of vice city before facing the mafia boss in a final fight.

I see the story of this game to be more compelling than Scarface the world is yours due to multiple turns while Scarface was a linear story set in one direction.

I prefer the storyline of GTA SA over VC but I'm attached more to VC because of its simplicity, brilliant game design and excellent helicopters and plans that make roaming this city a lot more easier, I don't know man but this game has a special place in my heart.

I faced an issue with Mr.Vercetti outfit, clipping occurs when wearing the outfit during different movements like running and sprinting, I reached out to Rockstar to fix this issue but they didn't fix it till the current moment even after I finished the game, I'm still hoping that Rockstar will fix the issue but I'm quite disappointed, I may edit the post when a fix is patched to the game.

It was a good move from Rockstar to pull off the original trilogy from abandonware market to their official digital store, but too bad they don't offer a good customer support which is bad and doesn't match the price of the games, the game should have been deliverd free of bugs and glitches.

All these prove that his memories were accurate, had not being accurate he wouldn't have remembered his last words to Johnny.

Also Johnny died by Saburo Arasaka through Soul Killer he wasn't killed by Smasher, if he had been killed by Smasher then how did he become an engram and construct ???? this doesn't make any sense.

what happened here is that the events of previous games like Cyberpunk RED were retconned in order to be redefined and improved into a much much better plot about principles, rebellion, courage and destiny.

Also I like Cyberpunk 2077 plot and under any circumstances, future sequels mustn't ruin Johnny's character development, Johnny was developed to be a man with strong sense of justice who hates corps and wants to fight for freedom and righteousness.

After 22 years of X8's release a lot of side scrollers are struggling to reach its height, animation, voice acting, consistent 2.5D graphics, very well optimized game on PC, even side scrollers released a decade later or 20 years later are still struggling to reach that level of high quality.

The only game that outperformed X8 is Prince of Persia the lost crown, with full wide interconnected 2D map, with consistent metroidvania game level design, and most importantly cinematic and superior combat system, Sargon just plays waaay better than Zero in any Zero or Megaman X game and he has some awesome cinematic combat moves through vengeful parry and Artha surge attacks.

Other games are still waaay behind X8, like Blasphemous 2, replaced, dead cells and the list goes on despite being released 20 years after X8

I really hope that Capcom cooks MegaMan X9, Zero's combat system needs to be improved to catch up to Prince of Persia the lost crown, also X8 leaves a lot to be desired in terms of storyline.

MegaMan X legacy collection 1 +2 also fixed the poor sales of X8.

X8 definitely deserves a sequel of X9.

Also he's going to taunt Saburo Arasaka's engram for Mikoshi's destruction.

First of all remakes work best for ancient old games, more specifically old pixel based games.

The most successful remake that I've played was Megaman Maverick Hunter X, it remade the original pixel game Megaman X on SNES, the remake was available on PSP and it introduced voice acting, animations and 2.5D graphics, the dialogues were very good, they were even better than TLC.

However the original trilogy already had voice acting and animations???, also the original trilogy were linear games, a lot of people may find linear games to be boring in 2026, also its storyline has aged and outdated other games introduced much better storyline like Cyberpunk 2077 through branched storytelling, which new things will be delivered by the remake beside better graphics ???!!!!.

There's basically nothing to be desired from SOT remake.

TLC sequel is the way forward as its storyline has better political writing, also its gameplay is waaay better than the original trilogy as it introduces shop system, progression system, customizations through amulets and levelling system.

TLC is better than the original trilogy in everyway, storyline and gameplay there's no comparison (except for the haircut Sargon's default haircut sucks).

I also find fighting bosses in TLC to be better than the original trilogy since you have to plan which amulets you'll use and which special artha surge attacks you'll use, I find myself using different amulets and artha surge attacks against different bosses.

TLC is better than the original trilogy in everyway and there's no comparison, and being a side scroller doesn't undermine TLC in anyway, the original trilogy are 3D but they are linear games and that puts it below the lost crown.

Also Ubisoft bled 1.3 billion Euros, so basically investing in side scrolling gaming market may fit their current tough limited budget situation as side scrollers are way cheaper than AAA titles.

Also TLC built a strong fanbase by selling 3 million copies under 3 years after release, this will boost the sales of the next installment and these numbers are good for a side scroller almost comparable to Hallow knight.

When I was young and kid, my father bought me a PS2 for my entertainment, one of the games that I bought was PoP The Two Thrones.

First time I heard about this game was from my relatives I used to watch them play it as a kid, then I decided to play it myself.

I struggled with some of the puzzles as a kid then I relied on YouTube to solve them.

It was a really enjoyable experience.

Fast forward 20 years later, I'm now a full grown adult with full time job, I've lost my PS2 but I own RTX 3050 unfortunately I won't replay the game as an adult and repurchase it from steam, due to lack of open world system that enables me to revisit old stages, lack of progression system, customizations, a shop system, a grinding system and a crafting system, this game is just linear you fight with limited weapons, limited abilities, the game is linear, and it takes a lot more than just a basic linear games to convince its players to buy them in 2026.

As for the story, the game completes the original plot of Sands of Time and Warrior Within, didn't play warrior within I've read the plot and watched Warrior within on YouTube, and unfortunately while those stories were good 20 years ago, a lot of games now have outperformed the original trilogy in terms of storytelling and gameplay, Prince of Persia the lost crown introduces a better gameplay design and better storyline with strong political foundation, Cyberpunk 2077 also offers a better narrative than the original trilogy.

I really hope we get a sequel to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, something that continues the story of Sargon and delivers a better storyline and better gameplay design than the original trilogy since there's a lot to be desired from Sargon's story, the original trilogy has outdated in terms of storytelling and gameplay.

Sargon tried to reason with with his former brother-in-arms when he fights them and the dialogues are poorly written.

But in MegaMan Maverick Hunter X.

X fights his former allies from the maverick Hunter unit and his former commander Sigma with full conviction and determination.💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥

A good writer always learns from good stories.

Powers should be scaled up if it makes sense from story perspective, if it doesn't then powers shouldn't be scaled, scaling up the powers of your characters doesn't result in good stories, other stories have been ruined by unnecessary power scaling like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, of course these stories are kids stories they failed to deliver something mature that's well written.

in Prince of Persia the lost crown plot initially focused on the conflict for the throne of Persia, Thomyris, Vahram and Kushans all of them seek to control the country for his own, and Sargon the main character wants to defend the national security and independence of his country, the powers should work within the scope of the story.

Vahram started as a ruthless smart warrior >!plotting a coup against Thomyris to overthrow her!<, he was calculating every move just like Walter White and Gus Fing, he won the immortals trust by >!blaming Sargon for Ghassan's murder!<, and in the end, he decided to >!destroy the world for no reason, he seemed to lack the motivations to do so and when he was defeated, he couldn't maintain his conviction, will and determination!< this is just simply a character assassination and poor writing, the story isn't connected nor written well.

In MegaMan Zero Series

The story scaled the world down, so the world was already destroyed by previous wars in X series and humans took refugees in a Utopian city named Neo Arcadia, later on >!Weil took control of the city and ruled it by force, humans began to flee his rule and he decided to punish those who escaped the city outside his dominion, later on, Weil was betrayed by one of his top followers and the city got nuked, his powers then scaled up where he decided to destroy the world as punishment for that rebellion against his rule, Weil was developed through the course of two games, the man hated reploids, and then he also hated humans because they punished him because of his crimes and extreme ideas, and when he died his motivations were still intact he expressed disbelief upon defeat but his character is still intact. !<

MegaMan Zero series succeeds where TLC fails, Weil's motivations, development and conclusion are done right, something that can't be applied to Vahram.

I hope that the Kushans and Thomyris will be written better in future sequels whenever we get them.

In Breaking Bad

Walter White had to face the hard tragedy of witnessing his wife >!cheating on him, Skyler confessed to Walter that she's cheating on him with her boss manager Ted, and that drove him insane, he was involved in drug dealing for his wife only to cheat on him, what's worse the money he earned went to Ted her lover!< and White went psycho the viewers watched all that laughing and horrified at the same time, Skyler drove a lot of people insane.

In Future PoP TLC sequels.

The story must introduce a new trauma, Thomyris who's Sargon's >!biological mother!<, must react negatively when she sees him involved in a romantic relationship with other women who opposes her rule like Neith or Anahita, Sargon's rebellion against Thomyris while falling in love with other women should cause her a big trauma, something that should be written very well as Breaking Bad, also I find it interesting for Anahita to betray Thomyris by dating her own son, and no Anahita isn't the adoptive mother of Sargon and she doesn't need to be she's just his military leader and top trainer.

I've seen a lot of movies where women cheat on their husbands but a story where a !>son dates women against his mother's will!< I've never seen that in any story before, so TLC may be the first to try writing such trauma and capture it like the way Breaking Bad wrote the tragedy of Walter White.

First they don't share the same blood, Sargon's mother is >!Thomyris!<, then Anahita took him to train him on the art of war.

Secondly, Anahita is under 40 years old, so she's still biologically able to date, love and marry men.

Third, she's still single.

Fourth she trained Sargon, of course she can fall in love with a man whom she trained.

While >!she died in the first installer she can be brought back one way or another, she may be stuck in mount Qaf, I mean Ghassan and Vahram returned from the dead!<

The fact that Sargon may fall in love with a woman that opposes his own >!mother!< and she may inspire him to rebel against her and resist her corrupted rule, this will definitely drive Thomyris angry, this can create a dynamic between Sargon, Neith and Thomyris.
