Whether it’s cancelled or not, anyone who wants to continue watching a relationship-based reality show in which numerous previous former contestants have been raped needs to have a word with themselves.

It was often said on here that Ana’s podcast episodes were the most popular, but that appears to no longer be the case. Really interesting to see the fluctuation in views between different cohosts.

Remember in around 2008-2011 when Facebook would change its layout once every 6 months? And now it’s been a graveyard for the best part of a decade. Tragic.

Remember the first episode after the 2016 election when he ended the show by putting on a “We’re Still Here” hat in defiance of Trumpism? The Bill Maher of 2026 would no doubt call this ‘woke virtue signalling’ or whatever.

Since the 26.5 update, the Phone icon has vanished from my home screen. Any ideas?

Did anyone else used to stare at this at the beginning of the Disney VHS and think “How on earth is that ‘D’?”

People who have such intense parasocial relationships with a popstar or a podcaster or a TV host that they get incredibly angry and start white knighting when anybody makes a mild joke at their expense.

Surely people weren’t like this before the internet?

It’s happened three times to me in the last week on Reddit. You make a mild (and in no way offensive) joke or lighthearted comment about a podcast or a TV programme or a pop song and people respond as if you have personally insulted their first born and all four grandparents.

How do people go through life being completely and utterly humourless and uncritical of something they consume? Do they think they are doing the people they like so much a favour by being so defensive on the internet? They don’t know you exist!

I will say that it is a much more intense phenomena on American-heavy subreddits. People aren’t like this as much on British or Australian spaces, where the humour is usually much more sardonic and piss-taking.

r/PeterExplainsTheJoke turning into people who don’t know how to Google or who are otherwise ignorant

It’s gone from a sub that explains online memes and references that might go over people’s heads to one that caters to dumb people.

People are literally posting screenshots of entire news stories and asking for context. Do 90 seconds of research!

Conspiracy Theory: Mel C can’t actually be bothered about a Spice Girls 30th anniversary reunion but is entertaining the interview questions as it leads to clickbait which leads to exposure for her new album.

Maybe somebody more in the know with this area could explain this as it truly baffles me.

YouTube is massive. It is second to the BBC in terms of online streams. I used to have YT Premium but got rid of it to save a bit of money and hopefully discourage me from watching so many videos.

Every other advert is some AI con about weight loss or (randomly) tai chi. One popped up earlier and it was an AI version of This Morning with two presenters sat on the TM set and talking into the camera trying to flog some scam.

Occasionally, I will get Jet2 or some other mainstream brand, but I really don’t understand how these AI “companies” and scammers can afford to advertise on Britain’s second biggest streaming platform. Is there officially no money left in advertising? And why is this legal?

It’s wild that Doctors was on for the biggest channel in the country for all those years but I couldn’t name a single character or storyline.
