Hello, lately I've been feeling very lost, maybe I have been my whole life but I haven't thought about facing it yet until now. During highschool I felt so sure of doing studying abroad in Japan/Kyoto and study in university there. Alot happened, I made a few friends, a close friend and got into a relationship with my girlfriend of almost two years. But I've moved to Tokyo, alot of my friends stayed back and my girlfriend choose to stay with me for a bit longer before eventually choosing to study in Berlin. I am all on my own in Tokyo, I have nothing going on with my life except my hobby of badminton. Before I always had a my parents, sibling, my gf or friend to follow, to go around and do something with. Now that these people are not present, I can't do anything myself.

Weekends come, and the only thing I do on my free time is doomscroll or just stare at the ceiling looking back at the places, people and things I left behind back in Kyoto or my homecountry. I have exams and I know I have to study but I never could bring myself to and end up being useless or wasting time, I feel that I have been a sheep my whole life, following a herd. I never can bring myself to do things alone and when I do, I wish someone was there with me and end up backing out midway. I want to be motivated or consistent but I never am because there isn't anyone to do it with. I want to be Independent and understand how I can enjoy being with just myself.

My mom told me to "Make myself busy" but my brain always pretends that there is so much time and I end up delaying the things I want to do. I tell myself that, maybe I'll go to a store I like, just walk around mindlessly or sign up for a gym and my brain tells me that I have to stay at home and study but in the end I never could bring myself to the table with a paper and pencil. I'd end up sleeping on my bed and waste hours of time. I was very motivated to study for the first time in so long, I did a 5 hour session but once I heard from my Japanese friend (I'm not very close with them, they're just uni friends and nothing beyond that) say that "It's impossible to pass the exams" I just feel really demotivated and give up. I hate how I'm such a sheep, I get easily swayed or influenced and I always have to follow someone else. I really need advice.

Hello, so anyways I failed N2 a year ago in July 2025 getting a 72/180. I am currently studying in a Japanese uni since last year that JLPT exam gave me a wake up call and I managed to do really well with EJU and got 330/400 in november (Honestly I was just really lucky) and despite learning in Japanese uni I feel as if my daily/normal Japanese actually got really really worse since the major I am studying is mostly maths and physics heavy so the only things I remember are vocabs and kanji related to those and the fact that I never speak beyond N3 category and always use simple words.

I tried doing some random N2 test online and can't seem to remember alot of kanji (My problem is really mostly kanji and I never had any problem with listening and grammar). I am thinking of taking N2 this december but a friend of mine says that taking N1 shouldn't be difficult for me and I should just memorize alot of kanji, what do you guys think? I'm mostly aiming for it just in case immigration decides to screw me over for just having N3 all of the sudden along my upcoming university transfer exam needing N1 if not then I'll have to take their 日本語能力試験 and I figured N1 might be easier?

If I were to aim for N1/N2, what kind of preperation should I do? I still have books from my language school for N2 prep and nothing for N1. Also figured 4months is plenty so any advice will be very much appreciated 🙏

Hey, I got a XL2546K maybe 5 or 6 yesrs ago, it still runs pretty well but I've recently changed to an Rog Oled. I mostly play cs and valorant and when using the oled, I've noticed it strains my eyes much more than the XL2546K, I see the new Benq esports monitors are much more expensive now so I was wondering if it's worth upgrading or not to a newer model (I do hate the bigger bezels on the newer ones). Planning to run the XL2546K as the main monitor for fps and the oled as the main content consumption and other games monitor.

So I've been using the Viper V3 Pro for 2 years, Its past warranty and it has this issue where the mouse sensor just looks down in game all of the sudden and I haven't been able to find a fix yet. So I'm looking to upgrade and to give some info, my hand size is 19cm (From top of middle finger to wrist crease) x10cm (Left to right) and I claw grip. I've used the RVU, G Pro X Superlight and now the VV3, I'm pretty neutral on these shapes as I usually just adapt to them anyways but my favorite is probably the Viper V3 shape since I like the aggressive sides and the hump so I think it's a pretty safe shape for me (Although I do wish the hump is abit more back). The thing that kinda convinces me to get the V4 is the browser software which I really wanna delete the synapse app, the weight balance, since the V3 is front heavy whilst the V4 is much more balanced, which I like and the battery life since I'm starting to use 2k polling rate alot more.

Other options aside from the Viper V4 would be

-Superstrike (The shape is safe for me, mostly I just wanna try out the clicks which I found satisfying in store)

-Superlight 2c (Always wanted a smaller superlight)

-Pulsar Feinmann (Everytime I go to the local store, I just really like holding it as it's probably the only ambi mouse that fits my hand really well, although not a fan of the holes)

-Endgame gear Op1w 4k (I like the back hump which suits my grip very well)

-Pulsar Tenz (Same reason as the op1 but I think the backhump is too high on this one)

-Ninjutso Sora V3 (Seems like a smaller version of the V3 but still unsure)

What do you guys think? Prime Day is coming tomorrow and these mice are gonna be on average-high discounts except for the V4 Pro, I don't have a budget so.

How's your glass pads treating you? I bought first one 6-7 months ago because my previous mousepad, the hien xsoft which kinda irritated my skin quite abit because of it's rough texture and I've always found it too plush despite reaching immortal in valorant and lvl 10 in cs. So I switched to a demon1 glasspad and it has served me quite well. I don't think it improved my aim as much as I thought it would and at first it made me more aware of my aim and distrustful on my muscle memory but now I think aiming just felt better and easier.

But I've come to enjoy it's smoothness and I was never a fan of my previous plush hien clothpad. Another thing is that I think my rifling has gotten way better at the cost of my awping/sniper rifles. Although I have come to miss the plug and play convenience where I don't have to wipe it as much and feel every speck of dust, lint and atoms on the surface and the feeling of cloth. So i'm recently thinking of picking up an artisan zero soft but I wanted to have some opinions first from people who uses glasspads or used and switch back to cloth.

I tried out my hien again, still dislike the plushiness and roughness but the feeling of cloth felt really nice.

Recently got mine after a 6 hour wait on a friday. I like the new pinkish design but my photo seems more blurry. Although with the new design comes with new problems, I cannot sign up for paypay nor update my identification on my jp post card and mercari so seems like my savings are gonna be locked away until they do something. How'd you guys like it?

Yesterday I just copped a Moondrop Blessing 3 Aqua for 38000yen (240usd). I had the opportunity to try out alot of iems and spent like 2-3 hours just going between alot of options. They had me connect a portable DAC/AMP to my phone and the sound quality is just superb. When I went home and tried my newly bought Iems again they sounded nothing like when I tried them on. I'm running a cheap extension cable from my motherboard headphone jack to my iems and the sound quality sounded worse than when I first tried them on (It was good when I had my Kato, maybe the Blessing is more demanding). I'm thinking of getting a desktop DAC instead of a portable one like Moondrop Dawn Pro since the main reason I have an extension cable is due to the length from my motherboard to IEM being too far and I mostly am going to use it for desktop use.

Does Anyone have any recommendations for a DAC below 100usd? Thinking of getting a Hiby W4 and running a DAC setup with it and plugging it off when im heading out or just a normal desktop DAC but I'm worried it might be overkill. I'd go for a small and portable DAC if it wasn't for the distance between my computer and IEM (Also would be a hassle if I wanna bring it around).

Hey! I bought my beloved Moondrop Kato mid 2024 and been using it for 2 years. Recently I've moved to a new place and in the process of moving I have lost my Katos.... Been searching for them hear and there, managed to clear my boxes for the sake of finding them and they didn't show up. Not moving on but I just thought It might be time for an upgrade. I really like the treble and the mids on the Kato, I don't prioritize bass as much as I prefer a much clearer sound. Recently I've been looking at either a new moondrop blessing 3 or used moondrop x crinacle or other brands such as the aful 5+2, my max budget is around 50000en or 300usd (Preferably I'd rather not spend that much unless its some extremely good IEM) and I'm going to use them daily for literally everything (Basically they'll be connected to my computer 99% of the time). Any recommendations is appreciated and If the Blessing and the X Crinacle is my best bet or not.

I lost my moondrop kato's recently due to moving from city to city (or I haven't looked hard enough), They served me really well and the shape is pretty good for me. I was thinking of buying the Kadenz right now but wanted to ask for suggestions or advice for iems around the same price range so any help and recommendations would be appreciated 😉

I bought the Nitori Toreru a few months ago since on Nitori it claims to have good non stick coating, the pot is still doing well but the 26cm pan already has scratches that shows it's metal underneath so i'm looking for an affordable replacement since I don't want to spend much on a pan that won't last a year atleast. Any suggestions?

Realistically, How much should I spend on a chair that I'll sit on for atleast 2-5 hours daily. I'm a student studying abroad so clearly I can't spend huge amounts on a Herman Miller or a Steelcase, likely the very most I could spend is below 50000en/300usd and I thought that I'd be better off going to some shop and start sitting in random chairs then buy so that I don't have to think about it again. Last time I did that, I went to a furniture shop named Nitori and bought an office chair for below 60usd but that chair wasn't comfortable after 8 months as the seat has lost it's cushioning and it's incline has loosed alot.

So for a student with a tight budget, how much should I spend realistically on a chair? There was a secretlab titan evo for under 300usd which clearly this sub hates any gaming chair but for that price it doesn't seem bad? As In Japan all these branded office chairs are extremely over budget, even the 2nd hand ones online can still be over 600 and even when they end up in some random local 2nd hand furniture store can still be well overpriced in my opinion for one that looks beaten up and scratched here and there. Am I just better off looking for a random office chair? Is a secret lab chair quite reasonable in this situation?
