I’ve started looking at food through an evolutionary lens. Our bodies evolved eating a wide variety of plants, fruits, nuts, and whole foods, not ultra processed meals. So instead of asking, How can I eat less? I ask, What would my body actually recognize as food? The result is more colorful plates, fewer cravings, better energy, and healthy eating that doesn’t feel forced. Sometimes eating better is less about restriction and more about eating the way we were designed to!
Ps- this entire huge plate is less than 300 kcal 🤌🏼
I started carrying a small container of cat treats in my bag because I kept running into stray cats on my walks. Now it’s become a habit. Every time I spot one that’s friendly (or willing to negotiate), I have a snack ready. This little one definitely approved. It’s a tiny thing, but it makes my day every single time!!
This is Sheru, the dog that roams around and stays on our society’s premises. He says happy friendships day to yall🫶🏼
Turns out you can have a full blown heartbreak without ever being in a relationship. -100/10, would not recommend. Spent years writing fanfiction in my head while the other person didn’t even know they were cast in the movie. No breakup and no closure!!! Just me collecting emotional damage like it was a hobby. It’s honestly impressive how your brain can build an entire future out of three good conversations and a few acts of basic human decency. Anyway, shoutout to everyone who’s had to move on from someone who was never actually theirs. We lost absolutely nothing and somehow still had everything to grieve. The delusion had a good run. Character development was expensive..but alas, it did make me stronger (I guess/hope)
One lesson- NEVER fall for straight women.
K brb crying🥀
Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua…Had some balloons left over from my mom’s birthday. Turned the fan on full speed because I was bored. They’ve been bouncing around the house for the last few minutes and I’m way more invested than I should be! I’m too bored this weekend it seems I got nothing better to do so I’m gonna spend my time on the balloon dance lmao💃🏻😭😂
Honestly not sure how to talk about this for at least 125 words lol
Meet ginger, she’s a stray cat that loves to hangout at a local cafe. Cafe owners and customers don’t mind this cutie taking a nap and hanging around!!
I’ve been feeling a little low energy during my workout lately because I only used to have a banana (I workout in the morning so only banana after I wake up and workout).
This plate in the picture is what I had today, does this work? Any additions or anything I should avoid?
It’s 2 double protein bread slices, 45g banana, 15g peanut butter, one egg, and 2g flax seeds.
Macros breakdown here-

I’ve only watched The Gap and Blank so far and need some good recommendations for my next GL! Thank you :))
Maybe the real tragedy of Smallville isn’t that Lex Luthor became the villain. It’s that, for a while, he genuinely wanted to be a better person. He grew up without love, with a father who saw manipulation as parenting. The one friendship that gave him hope slowly fell apart under the weight of secrets and mistrust. Lex made his own choices, and he has to own them. But it’s hard not to wonder who he could’ve been if someone had trusted him just a little more. Some people aren’t born villains. Sometimes they’re shaped into them, one disappointment at a time🥀
The hardest part of my weight loss journey wasn’t the workouts or the discipline. It was what happened to my relationship with food. After losing over 25 kg, I never expected this to be the side effect. Even on days when I’m eating an objectively small amount, my brain sometimes convinces me I’m eating too much. Logically, I know that’s not true, but the feeling is still there.
I know this is my own struggle and messed up relationship with food, and not everyone’s experience. But I never imagined that after spending so long teaching myself to eat less, it would become so difficult to trust my own hunger and fullness cues. Losing weight changed my body for the better. Now I’m realizing that healing my relationship with food is a completely different journey, and one that deserves just as much attention.
It sometimes takes such a big toll on my mental health! Is there anyone else who has gone through this? How did you manage your relationship with food?
Lana is a great character but I don’t get why is everyone shown to obsess over her? People either want her, want to be her friend or want to be her.
She’s good looking and kind but the whole Lana facade seems a bit over the top
Saved up for a few months to buy my mom a watch and a bracelet. She’s spent a lifetime giving me her time, love, and everything she had without ever asking for anything in return. This is nowhere close to repaying her, but seeing her smile made every bit of saving worth it. The best things you’ll ever buy aren’t for yourself. They’re for the people who made you who you are.
I’m currently stagnant in my career and it’s difficult to make ends meet but I know of I keep working hard I will be able to give her better things!
Just wanted to share this here as a proud moment! I know it’s not much, but I’m glad I could do at least a little for her. This is her favourite brand.
(27f) I think I’ve finally reached a place where I’m letting go of the idea of finding love..
Not because I don’t believe it exists, but because it feels so out of reach here. Being queer in a city like Pune often means a tiny dating pool (especially if you’re a femme looking for femme), people who aren’t out, situationships that go nowhere, or constantly wondering if you’ll ever meet someone who’s emotionally available.
Tried dating apps too but they took me nowhere.
I’m tired of hoping every new connection will be different. So for now, I’m choosing peace over chasing something that keeps leaving me disappointed.
If love ever finds me, I’ll welcome it. But I’m done searching for it. I’m ready to build a life that’s full, with or without a partner!
Is there anyone here that works their abs everyday? Is it recommended to do so? Not like a very heavy workout, but I was planning to do 1 Chloe Ting video everyday. It’s a 10 mins superset workout.
And if not everyday, how often would you recommend?
My goal is to take my fat % from 25 to 20. I’ve already lost about 30kgs in last 2 years. The belly fat is the only place where my fat is accumulated (due to pcod and stress)
I’m well aware that spot fat reduction is not possible, but any insights regarding the frequency of the workout would be helpful.
Any tips or opinions are welcome! 🙏🏼
I started in 2023 with body weight 92kgs (fats - 43%). I’m at 64kgs now (fats- 24%). I took the sustainable route as opposed to the quick fix of crash diets and excess cardios. Lifted weights, balanced with cardio and sports. Was and still am in a healthy calorie deficit range.
The next goal is to take the body fat to 18% which is know is quite ambitious. But still at least gotta try!
Just wondering if anyone here has dealt with stubborn belly fat, especially the kind that accumulates due to high cortisol. I’m already working on my mental health struggles to help lower cortisol but any input would be helpful.
I want to read this book but I want to know if it’ll actually help me or just trigger me. Has anyone here read it? How was your experience. And if not this book, what else would you recommend?
I personally believe my body was not ready for this weight. It’s 160kg rackpull at 63kg body weight. What do you guys think?
My cousin convinced me to join Bumble because I’d never used a dating app before. We made my profile together, and then I opened the Discovery page for the first time.
Within minutes I was like…what is happening brotha?
I started seeing people I know from the gym, badminton, and other social circles. The worst part though? So many of them are married or in committed relationships and they were showing up trying to match with me.
Safe to say, that was not the introduction to dating apps I was expecting. Ughhhh!!
I got so traumatised bhai lmao I deleted the profile instantly. This was one of the reasons why I was avoiding dating apps in the first place. Learned my lesson today.
27F, 5’3” 160 cm, currently 63 kg.
Since 2024, I’ve lost 19 kg, going from 82 kg to 63 kg. My goal is to continue losing body fat while maintaining muscle. I have PCOS and deal with fairly high levels of stress, anxiety, and overthinking. My sleep is usually around 6–7 hours per night, but it doesn’t feel very deep or restorative.
My new diet calorie intake is-
Kcal- 1600
Protein- 136g
Fat- 57g
Carbs-136g
Fiber-30g
For activity, I strength train 6 days a week followed by 20 mins moderate intensity cardio, do about 10 minutes of abs daily, and average around 15,000 steps per day (this is a new schedule)
The issue is that my fat loss has slowed down dramatically and I’ve felt stuck for quite a while now. I’ve experimented with both eating less and eating more, but neither approach seemed to make a noticeable difference.
Has anyone else experienced a significant slowdown after losing a large amount of weight? At this point I’m trying to figure out whether this sounds like a genuine plateau, the normal effect of being much lighter than when I started, stress-related water retention, PCOS, or something else entirely.
Would appreciate any thoughts from people who have been through something similar.
