I am a git noob that mostly uses Gitea & Github and people keep telling me how Gitlab is awesome. So I wanted to create an account and this is the message I got :

I don't have a gitlab admin and I can only create a gitlab ticket if I already have an account. What am I supposed to do? Never use gitlab?

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition on the Eden simulator on my Steam Deck and when I'm moving, I'm noticing those things on my screen.
I've tried native, LSFG-VK and NX-Optimizer. They are always there.
What are they and how can I remove them?
Hello, I recently added Xenoblade Chronicles X DE on my Steam Deck playing via the Eden emulator. I have the game (1.0.1), the update (1.0.2), and the mods (1.0.1) (60FPS ingame, texture details,...).
On Eden, I've added the updates and mods and in Configure game I've checked and unchecked some stuff :

When I started school in IT 4 years ago, I thought IT jobs were easier.
You had 4 main categories: System, Network, Cybersecurity and Dev (sometimes system and network together).
Now when I see jobs online I see those new name jobs everywhere: DevOps, SysOps, Platform engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevSecOps, DevSecOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
You would think they're more diversity but when you look at jobs description it's always the same thing.

I'm still new in IT with only 4 years experience and still in school. Feels like the current IT market is overwhelming.

On retombe dans le piège du 1 site a tout le contrôle des torrent francophones et il decide de tout et quand il voudra fermer on perdra tout les trackers.

Je me suis récemment mis à faire de la viande séchée. Je me suis un peu renseignée sur les risques et je suis tombé sur le Clostridium botulinum (botulisme) qui peut apparaitre pendant le séchage de la viande.
Apparemment pour éviter cela, il faut utiliser du sel nitrité (nitrite de sodium E250). Hors j'avais entendu parler au info que le nitrate est cancérigène. Il n'est pas interdit en France mais il est déconseillé d'en consommer.
D'un côté j'ai du sel cancirigène qui tue des bactéries ou j'utilise du sel normal et je risque la botulisme.
Je me tourne vers vous car je ne suis pas un expert en santé et nourriture? De ce que j'ai compris, il vaudrait mieux acheté du sel nitrité pour éviter le bolutisme au risque d'avoir un cancer plus tard dans ma vie.

I have 3 nodes in my cluster which 2 of them have a spare SSD SATA 1TB PNY CS900. The problem is that this model doesn't have DRAM and I would really like to setup a cluster with 2 OSDs and 3 MONs.
Any of you tried Ceph with SSDs without DRAM? Is it doable or do you regret it?

I just noticed that my OS disk of Proxmox is in a degraded test (ZFS filesystem).
I do have some spare SSD SATA 256Gb but the OS run as a stripe (1 disk only) and I'm not sure how to migrate it. I'm used to clonezilla but never used it on ZFS and I do not want errors on my PVE.
What's the best method to migrate rpool?

I'm not quite familiar with VMWare ESXi but it is what we are using at my work. I wasn't there when it was setup but basically I've noticed that the cluster only has 2 nodes and somehow have High Avaibility (HA) enabled on it and it works.
Both are on ESXi 6.7, managed by a vCenter and the storage is an external SAN using LUNs.
Every tech I know needs at least 3 nodes to have HA but not ESXi apparently.
How did they do it? Since when does it exists? And how come others can't?
Edit : Seems a lot of people didn't understand what I meant. What I meant to say is how come ESXi don't have the split-brain issue that can happen in other cluster technology?
ProxmoxVE, Docker Swarm or Kubernetes all need 3 nodes to address that issue. How did VMWare address that issue with only 2 nodes?

I am trying to setup a Grub theme on my Ultramarine Linux (Fedora 44) but I am having issues with LUKS.
I've just setup the PC a few hours ago and wanted to try LUKS, never did before. And apparently, it's blocking my grub themes because when I do sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/efi/EFI/fedora/grub.cfg I don't get the theme found message.
How can I fix that?
Hello, I just installed Ultramarine Linux Surface 43 on my Surface Pro 7+ and couldn't get internet during installation so I couldn't install the codecs and drivers.
During the installation, there's an URL that leads to the wiki but I can't click on it...
I managed to find the codecs page (https://wiki.ultramarine-linux.org/en/setup/postinstall/) but nothing about drivers.
What did I miss exactly? Do I need those drivers?
We were playing ranked in gold when my team noticed that our pre-chosen heroes were getting banned BUT we never picked Magneto, Namor or Rocket Racoon on our picks yet they appear as banned chosen by our team.
I could only get the last 30 seconds of my screen which only show the last pick which was Rocket Racoon.
Team pick was 2 ban for Clock and Dagger and 1 ban for Elsa yet Rocket Racoon was chosen.
