Hey, so the USB port in the center console on my Legacy has never worked since I got the car. When I plug in my phone, nothing happens. No recognition at all. Am I doing something wrong? Is the port not meant for charging? Thanks in advance if anyone has any knowledge about this!
I know that I cannot clear the placeholder from the recipient device but the unsent message bubble in the chat kind of drives me crazy. Is it possible to clear it on my end or would I have to nuke the entire chat to get rid of it? Thanks.
It’s an upbeat, kind of fast indie summer festival song. The only part of it that I caught was an instrumental buildup that's either a guitar or a synth. It plays a rhythmic "do-do-do" pattern like 7 or 8 times, but the catch is that each time it repeats, the pitch steps lower and lower like it's going down a staircase.
Right when it hits the very bottom of the pitch drop, a huge wall of bright trumpets blasts out. The trumpets go something like this:
DA DAAAAAAAAAAAA, DA DA DA DA DAAAAAAAA!
Not sure if I even have enough information but it is a summer song that has a melody like “do do do” that repeats 7 or so times, getting lower each time. The melody is not sung, it almost sounds like plucks of an electric guitar? Then very upbeat trumpets come out like “DA DAAA, DA DA DA DA DAAA.” I didn’t hear any of the lyrics unfortunately but it has been stuck in my head and I’m dying to listen to the full song.

Got an extended warranty mailer for a car I don’t own last week. I figured it was a fluke and discarded the letter. Today I received another extended warranty mailer from a different company. I know the warranties are borderline scams and they don’t cover anything, but the mailers themselves are not what concerns me. It is the fact that two different companies sent letters within a week about a car I don’t own. Is there a possibility that someone stole my identity and financed or purchased a vehicle in my name that caused these companies to send these letters? Not sure what to make of this.
Vehicle is a 1991 Ford Crown Victoria. A/C did not blow cold at all on a 30 minute highway drive. When I parked, I heard an intermittent ticking noise from the engine, so I popped the hood and observed what I believe to be the A/C regularly engaging and disengaging. Could this be as simple as a recharge given that the vehicle is 35 years old, or do the signs point more towards clutch or compressor failure? Thank you.
Hi there! In the market for a 55” TV to replace my current 48” set. I am currently deciding between the Samsung Q7F and the TCL QM5K. Both are marketed as QLED models and are priced almost exactly the same. $350 is about the max I am wanting to spend on a TV at this time, so both of these sets are acceptable for my budget, but I am open to other suggestions. I used my Mastercard at a restaurant last night but noticed this morning that the charge never showed up. It has happened before that it takes a day or two, but I noticed on the receipt that the authorization line shows pending instead of the usual six digit code. If it matters, I used Apple Pay. The bar told me their internet was down, so it looks like it captured my card info but never posted due to the internet outage? I want to make sure that I paid for my meal, but how long should I wait before reaching out to the restaurant? Is this a normal delay for offline transactions or did my using Apple Pay screw it up somehow?

First time Seat Geek user here. I bought some tickets to an NBA game tonight. I watched a pair of tickets for most of the morning and decided to pull the trigger when the price was low enough for my budget. I went to checkout, applied a promo code, and paid via Apple Pay. I did not get any error from Apple Pay and the transaction appeared to go through successfully. Here's the weird part. Instead of an order confirmation, I got a message saying the tickets had sold out. The same tickets I'd been watching all morning that had zero movement. Shortly after the "purchase," I got a request from Seat Geek to verify my email but I did not ever receive an order confirmation or tickets. The tickets I was looking at are off the site now too. If someone else happened to buy the tickets at the exact same moment, great for them. My worry is that I bought the tickets and due to a glitch did not receive them. I have been waiting on hold for about half an hour and I really do not want to have to initiate a chargeback later on if my card is charged but I never got any tickets. Has this happened to anyone else before?
