Why do some “friends” act so differently online and in real life?

I’ve been trying to understand something about friendships. How can someone clearly dislike you or talk badly about you behind your back in real life, hide things from you, hurt you or treat you differently when you’re actually around them

But then online they’re completely different. They’re constantly sending you messages, reels and memes, checking on you and acting like they genuinely enjoy talking to you. Sometimes if you only knew them through the way they act online, you’d probably think they really liked you and cared about you

That’s the part I don’t understand. How can someone’s behavior be so different online compared to how they actually treat you in real life? Do they genuinely enjoy interacting with you online despite how they feel about you in person, or is the online behavior just fake? And if they really dislike you, why put so much effort into talking to you online?

I’m genuinely curious how people can separate these two sides of a friendship so much

Girls, what can I use to get this natural cherry lip color that lasts?

I’m looking for a lip product in tunisia that can give me a natural, soft cherry tint similar to the color in the picture. I want something that looks like a natural flushed lip rather than a very bright or heavy red.

I’d also like something that actually stains/tints the lips and lasts for a while instead of fading quickly.

I’m looking for something affordable and easy to find in most stores in tunisia. Lip tint, lipstick, lip liner, or any combination is fine.

What products would you recommend for achieving this kind of color?

Why is my older sister so rude to me?

I'm genuinely trying to understand this because it's been like this for as long as I can remember.

Whenever we argue, she's usually the one who starts provoking me in a very calm, calculated way until I finally react. The moment I lose my patience, suddenly I'm the bad one and everyone forgets what she did before that.

I know everyone says there's always two sides to every story, and maybe you'll think I'm exaggerating, but everyone in my family knows what she's like. She turns tiny issues into huge arguments, she's extremely selfish, evil (expacially to me),and she constantly criticizes or belittles me.

For example, she'll compare us for no reason and make comments like, "Look how pretty my hands are. Even when I grow my nails they look nice. Yours look ugly even if you grow them." It's always little comments that are meant to make me feel inferior.

The thing that hurts the most is that she's actually kind and friendly with her friends. But with me, she treats me like I don't matter. If I talk to her respectfully, she barely responds. If I treat her the way she treats me, suddenly I'm the rude one.

I honestly try to be good to her. I share my things with her I compliment her I even give her scalp and back massages because I know she likes them. I can't remember a single time she's done something similar for me.

She also often drags my dad into our arguments. Since she's the older sibling, he usually believes her, even when she started the whole thing which makes it even more frustrating.

I'm generally a quiet person. I don't like drama, I don't interfere in other people's business and I usually let things go to avoid arguments. She's the complete opposite. Even when something has nothing to do with her, she inserts herself into it and if anyone tells her to stop she starts yelling.

Has anyone dealt with an older sibling like this? Why would someone treat their own sibling this way while being perfectly nice to everyone else?

How did you grow your eyelashes?

How did you grow your eyelashes?

My eyelashes are naturally short, blonde, and have noticeable gaps, especially on my lower lash line. I've always wanted them to be longer and fuller, but there are so many products and tips online that I don't know what actually works.

What made the biggest difference for you? Oils, serums, supplements, or just time and genetics?

Why do I feel so uncomfortable around guys?

as long as I can remember I've always felt extremely uncomfortable around guys. It's not that I dislike them or think they're bad people. I just become a completely different person whenever I'm around them.

If I have to talk to a guy I immediately become extremely shy and anxious. Sometimes after finishing a conversation I notice that I'm trembling a bit. I start overthinking everything I say because I'm afraid of sounding awkward or embarrassing myself. My heart races, my mind goes blank and sometimes I struggle to keep the conversation going.

Eye contact is one of the hardest things for me. There are times when I feel so self-conscious that I can barely look a guy in the eyes while talking to him or even when we're just in the same place. I end up looking away because it makes me feel incredibly nervous.

The strange part is that none of this happens when I'm around girls since we're the same gender. I can talk for hours joke around be myself and never feel anxious. Conversations feel effortless and natural and i can act crazy as much as i want .

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Is Owning a Vending Machine in Germany Really a Profitable Business?

I've been thinking about investing in a vending machine in Germany, and I'm curious to hear from people who have real experience with it.

How much does a vending machine usually cost in Germany? And how much can one machine realistically generate in revenue per month? After covering expenses like rent, restocking, electricity, maintenance, and taxes, what would the average monthly profit be?

I'd also love to know whether it's a good business for beginners and if you think it's still worth investing in today. Any real experiences, advice, or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Am I the only one living like this?

I've spent my entire life in a family that never let me have a normal social life like everyone else. I rarely go out, and even when I do, they have to know exactly who I'm going out with. I've spent almost my whole life at home.

Growing up, I experienced abuse, even from a very young age. As I got older, I kept being silenced to the way i started stuttering in my talking. My opinions never seemed to matter, and no one really listened to what I had to say. Eventually, you start feeling inferior, and little by little you convince yourself that your voice doesn't matter—that your opinions have no value. You become afraid of society, and that fear follows you into almost every situation in life.

There's no one who truly listens to you, understands you, or shows genuine interest in what you have to say. Even though you're an incredibly kind person who never wants to hurt anyone, you keep complimenting people and being nice to them, even when, deep down, you feel the complete opposite. You do it because you don't want anyone else to go through what you've been through. Yet all you receive in return is the opposite: neglect, emotional indifference, and a lack of compassion, whether from family or friends.

In the end, all you wish for is to live alone somewhere quiet and isolated. But you can't, because you're not in a position to do so for many reasons.

So you surrender to this painful reality, and little by little, you keep hating yourself more, feeling like you're never enough.

Any advice could help

Hello,

Please, I really need your help. I just got a Bixie haircut, but my hair has so much volume and gets really frizzy whenever I straighten it. For reference, my hair is naturally wavy, almost curly, and it's quite dry. Right now, I honestly look like Dora. 🥲
