Hi everyone! I’m looking to buy an eink specifically for note taking. I’m a professor and I need some level of privacy. I do not understand much of the “techiness” but I’m not tech handicapped. I was wondering if someone can educate me on how much privacy Supernote offers and if it is safe to store sensitive info on it? Thank you!

Hi everyone. I’m a PhD student who studies literature. My work flow involves a laptop and also my iPad which I sometimes use as an extended screen for my MacBook. I’ve been thinking of getting an eink device as a note taker. I think all my papers and stuff are best read on an iPad since it’s easy to annotate and send documents but sometimes I wish I had a device only for notes that I could pick and write on. I have a bunch of notebooks that are just lying around and I don’t even know which one has what.

I also take notes on my iPad while reading on the side. I make docs for my students too on it which is so convenient. I don’t know if going digital with my notes is a good idea. For some reason I fear I’ll lose them all.

I have tried the RMPP. My brother owns it. It’s huge and if I wanted to read only docs, I think I’d choose that one. A friend of mine gave me the Supernote to keep for a week. I liked it. Wasn’t a fan of the writing but the small form was pretty good. I think my biggest fear is privacy and having all my notes wiped out one day for no reason. lol. I know I’m being paranoid but I was wondering which one is better for me? I just want something for notes and nothing more and I know these two companies are good. I think the remarkable came out with the new one recently so I’ll pick that. If there’s anything else I’m not aware of, please educate me. Thank you, in advance.

Before I begin with my question, I want to give a little background with my manifestation experience. So far, the biggest thing I manifested is getting into a university for higher education and becoming independent.

I’ve realized that on the go, I’ve manifested small things like getting a free coffee or an exam being postponed. I’ve read about Neville Godard and I’ve also listened to subliminals. I’ve tried the 369 method too. However, what I’m manifesting right now is the hardest of all and I’m slowly starting to question things.

Coming to the present: My relationship has been the most difficult for me. I’ve changed my bf’s behavior so much where it’s gone from wanting space every now and then to him telling me that he’s absolutely in love with me. However, I’ve been waiting for an engagement. We’ve spoken about it. I’ve spoken about my deadline too which is this year. I’ve been clear and we’ve had future conversations too. The problem is that it hasn’t happened yet. I had my summer break and him and I spent a whole month together (we’re in a long distance) and I was manifesting a proposal during this time but it never happened. I’m wondering how can this work? What am I doing wrong? I want it to be asap because my parents keep asking me and it’s a lot of pressure. I also have to plan things since my parents are far and wedding preparations will take time. I’ve detached from the outcome. Like I’m not obsessing over it. I’m not obsessing over the relationship either. I know if it doesn’t happen then it doesn’t because then the universe has something better for me. But I also know that it’ll happen. For some reason, I know he will propose within my deadline. Anyway, any pointers or advice is welcomed. Thank you!

Y’all, I just got a Neo, 512 gb for $570 in citrus and I can’t wait! It’s my first MacBook from my own adult money!! Had to get a second hand coz the cost went up and I needed higher storage for work. Paying almost $700 with tax felt a little uneasy. Just wanted to share coz I don’t have anyone to share this with. It gets here this Monday and I’m so so so excited! 😭

Has anyone ever bought the nano textured glass with iPads? Do you like it? I’ve been thinking about it to reduce reflections since I like to sit near windows and work. But I’m not sure if it’s worth the money. Would love to hear experiences.

For those who got a new MacBook Neo months ago or have had it for a month now, especially the Citrus color, do you regret the color? Do you wish you got another color? What do you do to hide it? What do you do to enhance it?

Also, for those who have been using a Neo, has it slowed down for you?

I need help and advice and everything nice! To introduce myself: I am a PhD student currently who is studying literature. I’m in my 4th year and next year, I start writing my dissertation. As of now, we have a laptop from our university which is a MacBook Air. However, I want one of my own to write my paper on and I want to learn the basics of coding— HTML, CSS and Java. After I learn that, I do plan on exploring the world of coding just a little more.

Anyway, for now, my main work will be learning the basics on the side and browsing research paper, reading, watching YouTube educational videos and of course, writing. I use my iPad (I have the iPad Pro m5 in 13 inch) to annotate student’s papers, to read and watch and all that good stuff. I’m going to use my iPad as the second screen with my laptop which I have not been able to do yet since the work laptop is locked to another email.

After doing a lot of research and watching of reviews, I have settled on the Neo primarily because of the budget. It seems good for my basic work but I am not sure about coding.

What do the experts think? Any other pointers for me? Thank you, in advance.

Wanted to request everyone to post a picture of their neos that represents the most accurate color in person. I’m trying to decide on a color. Been a neutral color person all my life but it’s time to add some fun so I’m avoiding the silver. Thank you! 🫶🏽

Guys can give their opinion too. lol. I’ve been going back and forth between the blush and the silver color. A little about me— I’m not a crazy pink fan but I’ve seen the blush and it looks so cute. Most of my devices have been in black or silver. My previous laptop has been silver too. This year, I’ve been adding colors because why not? I got the base iPhone 17 in blue and I love it coz that’s my favorite color.

Hi everyone! I hope y’all are doing excellently. I am a PhD student and currently have a MacBook Air M3 from my university. I’m going to be losing this soon so I am looking for a personal laptop and would appreciate any insight y’all might have. I also want to think about a future where I might work in a publishing firm.

As of now, I’m looking at the new MacBook neo and the Air. The pros are not for me because I don’t edit that much. How does the MacBook neo performs for everyone? I’m looking at the 512 gb because I have a lot of files. Im soon going into my dissertation phase so I want to write on my own laptop. I do have a billion tabs open and constantly use word. Canva is important for me as well. Would air be a better choice for me? I have an iPad Pro that I generally use for my notes and marking PDFs. My iPad is my main device but I want to use my iPad as a second screen which I have not been able to do since my work laptop is locked to the ID.

Hi y’all! I’ve been deciding between the 16 and 17 base models. Is the 17 wider than the 16? I know the screen is a bit bigger. I don’t care much about the 120ghz but other than that difference, what else does the 17 offer?
