Is this just due to co-op ownership vs private ownership? It just strikes me as odd as the Population of Terrace and the surrounding area is double that of Smithers + better airport and the mountains get way more snow than further east. I know the Shames slack n backcountry is outstanding in comparison but the vert, area and elevation of the lift service terrain seems underwhelming in comparison .
I guess Terrace is a more coastal climate similar to the lower mainland and Smithers is more interior mountain climate with more northern influence? Long days in the summer, short days in he winter... but is there much sun n lake worthy heat in the summer, and much snow in the winter above the valley bottoms? I know Terrace gets a lot more precip. Deal with much in the way of smoke and forest fires?
Half the videos that pop up don't even have the "don't recommend this channel" option. Is there an app or option to block AI voiced videos or videos that use AI thumb nails to click bait? This crap is like half you tube now. Forcing this shite on people yet being incredibly strict on censorship.

Refueling I have to hold the trigger very light or fuel begins to overflow up the neck and stops the pump as if the vehicle was full. Toyota looked at the charcoal canister and didn’t see any issue but replaced the filter and blew out the vent, that made no difference though.
The unrelated Water seems to be getting in below the trunk storage space... isolated to the lower back driver side of the vehicle. I've noticed water pooling under the battery, but also water beside it under that black plastic casing and infront of it under the parking break module and panasonic device. I thought initially it was because I used to store skis and a paddle board in the back. But I use a ski bag and a tarp and never notice any water or moisture on the tarp or anywhere on the floor of the storage. I heard it could be a clogged sunroof drain or something to do with vertical roof bars? I DID however recently notice on the driver side passenger door that the weather stripping wasn't fully secure and the plastic strip on the interior that it seals to alongside the passenger seat was also not fully sealed, exposing the frame and some wiring through a small gap.... is that likely the cause?
If I try to go into windowed mode in the browser, it just automatically snaps back to default view immediately. If I open the in the video player I can minimize or windowed but can’t do anything else with the app. Can’t open other tabs and trying to swipe out of the player stops the video
Trail seeker but don’t seek trails that are too rough? Any vehicle with back country capability kind of needs this unless you want to rely on being rescued.
We all know the story. A lovely surf town or village is discovered, then thru word of mouth, social media, magazines, you tube videos, the place is hyped as an ultimate hidden gem of the surf world… followed by a wave of foreign developers, affluent expats buying up everything and local government looking to take full advantage of it… until it no longer resembles what brought people there in the first place. Expensive, crowded, etiquette out the window, sewage and garbage excess.
Is there anywhere warm water n consistent left that has some form of safe guards that limits this to some degree? Even if not the most quality waves.

I got a a bit excited, on the westjet website it lets me choose Managua, Nica as a flight destination between Mon Oct 26 2026 and Fri Apr 23 2027... Pretty sure that wasn't the case before?
Caveat is the the flight from Canada goes to Panama for the transfer, same with Guatemala . Doesn't seem very practical. Or is that because it's the only partner airline willing to work with westjet in CA currently "Copa" ? ...
I hope in the coming years we start getting more options to fly in central America since no one wants to go to the US and Cuba now... in western Canada the convenience of going to Mexico often makes me skip the overnight flights to Costa Rica, the double layovers to Panama and no easy route to Nica, Guatemala, Honduras or El Salvador. Thankfully there is a bit of WJ love for Belize.
Was looking at a bunch of flights a few weeks ago from Ixtapa - Calgary - Kelowna... Was like 8 hours with a short lay over in Calgary... on most days of the week in early Dec... now nadda. Everything is now like 17 hours + for the same dates.
Flights there remain unchanged, between 7-8 hours thru Calgary.
What supplemental app would you actually pay for that would help the most alongside dreaming spanish premium?

Is there much of an improvement after 2017 in gen 4; any upgrades, fixes?
I like the 2017 but I've had a few stupid issues that can't be resolved unless I end up sinking 8k into repairs (the head unit has ongoing electrical issues that short out n bricked the faceplate climate buttons/display lights... when I refuel the vehicle, the pump constantly stops unless I am barely pulling the trigger and filing it super slow... takes like 4x longer to refuel. Was told they'd prolly have to change out the fuel cannister... Plus the fuel lid lock/latch is busted and they'd have to replace the whole mechanism).
With 150,000km and these issues is that even worth it? Should I just hold on to the 2017 and deal with the issues or get em fixed? Or keep my eye open for 2018+ that may have fewer risk or problems? Considering even rolling back a late year previous gen like a 2014/2015 ... I loved my 2010 n had no issue except the interior climate heating was terrible. The price jump around 2021-2022 seems pretty dramatic.

Don't have much social support and I am pretty introverted. Mostly just been my physically active hobbies and quieter side projects that have helped, but even those are becoming less effective with diminished excitement, motivation for them.
I'm in good physical health, eat reasonably well, I've gone a full medical check up and all my blood works and lab results came back within normal range... slightly on the lower end average of testosterone.
Sometimes I struggle with insomnia, hard to fall asleep, easily woken and hard to fall back asleep, but this is inconsistent.
I've tried to take extended breaks from substances and didn't notice a difference.
My family doctor and psychiatrist as prescribed to me over the years..., escatalipram (made me lethargic and very negative sexual side effects) Trintillex, seemed ok but not overly great for treating symptoms but gave be bad nausea for about an hour after taking it. Duloxetine just made me feel flat/numb, lethargic and again sexual side effects. Currently on Bupropion and it seems to improve my energy levels and focus a bit, but that's it and at a higher 24 hour dose it makes my insomnia worse.
Getting kind of frustrated as everything I tried seems to have minimal effects that are largely outweighed by the side effects. Are there any that I should consider researching or asking my doc about?

What’s the most km and what was the model and year? Did you have to do a lot more maintenance and upkeep in its sunset era? Anyone had to replace a hybrid battery?
Debating going long or trading in. Newer or lower mileage Lexus’s jump in price quickly as they get more adjacent to optimum.
