Did my biggest ride to date yesterday. One of the harder things I’ve done in a while
Fire and Ice loop on southern WA

Fire and Ice loop on southern WA
Hi everyone, I’m curious if anyone had any hacks or ways to fix this issue? I have it shown in the yellow circle
In an ideal world I would try and get this fixed by Nicks. But these are my work/fire boots and I can’t afford the lead time right now.
I have leather insoles that help but it’s starting put some not so fun pressure on the bottom of my foot.
Thanks!
I’m stumped
This is expired TriX 320 developed in D76 used a Cokin Green filter. The second photo of the plane is the same film developed with the other negative in a Stearman press together. Based on the image of the plane I don’t think it’s something from development.
My Stearman works just fine, but I do like the idea of this closure systems.
Negatives don’t seem fully developed.
I’m not sure if my bleach or fix is dying? I’ve been using both of them for a quite a while. Last roll I put through this chemistry everything looked fine.
Yes I’m aware CD-3 is used for ECN-2 development. This roll was exposed at EV100
Process was
Dev for 3:15 min at 106°f agitation for 5 seconds every 30 seconds
Bleach and fix were done for 4:30 minutes following the same agitation as above
Washed with ilfords method and then photo flow with distilled water to dry
And now must seek validation from the internet. Hopefully I won’t have to buy color film for a while. Stoked to try the AHU version. Now I won’t have to deal with RemJet
Used a red filter for all except that macro shot. Dev in 510 Pyro scanned with Epson V700. I feel like these are fine…
I find the more I shoot 4x5 the less interested I am in medium format. If I am going to take the time to lug everything around and meticulously set everything up I’d rather have a bigger negative or on the flip side just shoot 35mm for quicker shots and a lighter camera (plus bulk rolling)
Any how, this is the east side of Mt Hood, and I’m shooting FP4 with a red filter. Will be developing this evening or tomorrow
Self developed and scanned. No light meter used.
I recently found out I can make developer for ECN-2 film. Which got me thinking why can’t I do that for black and white. I recently finished my B&W developer and looked it how to make it. Turns out the raw materials are only slightly more expensive then buying pre made developer and the amount film I can develop is exponentially higher. I have stuff here to make some d76 and Mytol (instant Xtol clone) also not all chemistry is shown here. I think this is the way to shoot film the most economical way especially combined with bulk rolling.
I usually don’t do portraits, but I like how this one came out
Chamonix 45N-2
210mm F/5.6
Developed in 510 Pyro
Scanned with Epson V700
I’ve learned I can make my own ECN2 developer. I am wondering have much of a color shift I might get. I’ve processed plenty of Vision 3 film in C41 but never the other way around.
Thanks
Having issues finding sources
Thanks
Shot with a Pentax 67 and home developed and scanned
Pentax 67 developed in HC 110
50% pavement 40% gravel and the last 10% shown above. The ride climbs about 5000ft and the last 1200ft looks like this?
I have a gravel bike (Crust Bombora) and a mountain bike (Transition Sentinel) but I feel like none of them would do well on this kind of ride.
I know the Crust really struggles (or maybe it’s just me) on this stuff
