Hats off to the devs for their sheer, unbridled ambition.

Damn, I'm impressed with Crimson Desert so far.

It's got that janky, crazily overambitious vibe that first made me fall in love with Morrowind.

No sane studio should be trying to get so many gameplay systems, traversal options, and that level of graphical fidelity all working together. It's like they've tried to merge Tears of the Kingdom, The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Skyrim.

Absolute batshit insanity, yet it works, and I love it completely.

And the BlackSpace Engine avoids the notorious shader compilation and traversal stutters that plague Unreal Engine 5. It's a stunning game.

It is definitely clunky and overwhelming at times, but it never feels sterile or corporate. Hats off!

Found stashed in the back of a mini-fridge in a cheap hotel.

The fridge wasn't working, so I pulled it out to check it was at least connected properly and found these... I would presume MDMA, but there are no Mitsubishi markings or anything, so who knows. The photos aren't great, but there's not much to them. They're completely flat and featureless, with a dividing line on one side and nothing on the other. I left them where I found them. Maybe rat poison?
