I got this used and it doesn’t look like it has ever been played. I have it in the case with Boveda packs after traveling across the country. I can’t decide to put a new set of Martin PB mediums or try the PB lights I use on my 000-28MD. I have a couple sets of lights on hand but no mediums.
I will be buying one of these on Monday. The D-35 is like new and will be around $2100, the retail for the D-28 is $3699. I love the look of the Sunburst but the D-35 for that price is making it hard for me to pass up.
I think it will take a significant discount on the D-28's $3699 retail price to pass on the D-35
I already have 000-28 Modern Deluxe and a Taylor 414CE but this will be my first dread.
I love the sound of both guitars. Any thoughts?
I will be getting one of these bikes tomorrow but still undecided. I am looking at the Deviate Highlander V1 tomorrow and I think it is a good deal. I did message Deviate and the owner said they will support it and have spare parts.

The other option is a local Trek dealer has a Fuel EX 8 Gen 7 in stock and there is no sales tax. $3999 out the door. It is very appealing to have Trek support so close with 3 stores within a half hour of me.

I don't know the technical term but every POV jump video, the rider kicks the bike out on every jump while in the air.
It looks cool, but is that just the standard cool thing to do?
On the flip side watching Friday fails, about half of the crashes happen when a rider tries to kickout and lands while sideways.

I am still undecided for the most part on returning the Salsa Timberjack SLX I bought a couple weeks ago at REI. I was looking around mkt place and saw this yesterday. Any thought about this?
I bought a Mtn bike about 2 weeks ago, did the normal thing almost everyone does cutting the clear"dork disc" off the rear wheel and removed the reflectors . The wheel reflectors only come off by breaking them. The other reflectors that have a mount, I still have.
The bike is a Salsa SLX 29 that I got on sale and REI assembled it, overall a great bike except for one major issue. I cannot get the front shock adjusted and I am not new at this. I set it to factory suggested settings (150lbs) but there was no sag, started dropping the air 10 lbs at a time until I got the correct amount of sag which ended up being around 110 lbs.
I took it to the trail and the bike was not right and I knew it right away. I added air back and it turned it into almost a solid shock again. I made sure to do the bounce on the fork every time I adjusted pressure, then rechecked.
Long story but need short answer, will they take the bike back without the wheel disc and reflectors?

I am brand new to Mtn bikes but have been a road cyclist for many years off and on.
I am new to Mountain biking and Mtn Bikes although I have done a lot of road biking over the years. I have a house on the coast of the PNW that has about 50 miles of professionally designed trails. I am looking at a couple of used bikes in the area and would like to stay under a $1000 in case I hate it.
Opinions on these 3 or other options, new or used? Prices on these good or offer that I should make.

I bought this Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster loaded body off Ebay for a great deal. I already have the Roasted Maple neck that I was going to use for a Gilmour Strat but felt it was too dark with the Gilmour.
I think it is going to look great with the Sherwood Green JM and I don't own a Jazz so BONUS!
It comes with the antique white pickguard and knobs, but I was playing with AI as I added my neck on to the body. I tried black with the cream PU covers and knobs and then all black.
Opinions on which one to go with? Obviously the easiest would be bolt the neck on, set it up and be done but I don't have a problem changing things up.

I just got this Journey Koa overhead plus. It is a Demo and does have a small milky spot in the clear just above the low E. I saved $200 on it and it’s a travel guitar in a backpack so I really don’t care. It plays and sounds way better than I could even hope for in a guitar like this. Next stop Hawaii in 3 weeks.

Does anyone else's driver seat creak? I've had mine in the shop already for it and they "adjusted" it, so it did not creak as bad after but was not entirely quiet.
After a couple months, it's just as bad if not worse than before. I have an appt next Wednesday and said in comments that it should be replaced. If they refuse to replace and try to fix it again, any suggestions on how to handle it? I don't want them to keep band aiding it until warranty runs out.
In context, my car has 6000 miles, and I am 6' 195 so it's not like I am an abnormally large person.
I built a Gilmour Tribute with correct pickups, pick guard and trem arm but went with a Warmoth Roasted Maple neck. The problem is the neck is way too dark for this guitar.
I just got a Japanese Fender neck new from Fender on their 4th of July sale that is really nice for the Gilmour .
I have a lot of work into this Warmoth with SS frets etc. It plays great so I want to build another Strat with it but can’t decide on the color.
I was thinking of these possibilities
3 Color Sunburst
Polar White
Or possibly like a Mint or something similar.
Thoughts ?

I absolutely love this Taylor, it looks and sounds amazing. It won’t be my last. I tried to get a picture of the back but it is so shiny that it was like taking a picture of a mirror. I’m not complaining
I have been looking for a 14CE series, preferably a 414CE the last few weeks. I have bought a couple of Martin's from Empire Music so I looked to see what they have available.
They have a Trade in promo going right now and I have a Les Paul Modern that I don't like even though it's a beautiful guitar.
I am stuck between this guitar, a new but heavily discounted 2023 Custom Select 714CE (original price $4499) that I would get 23% discount on top of the already discounted price, OR..
A 2026 414CE standard. They both would be $2700 but the 414CE would only be discounted 15%.
My brain is saying 714CE but I have to wonder why it has gone un-sold for 3 years...
The options if allowed...
UPDATE: I pulled the trigger on the Next Gen 414CE. I got a great deal with the trade in. The Action Control Neck was the deciding factor and TBH, I like the look better than 714CE that I was thinking about.
I can get a 2006 410CE for $1000. Any thoughts on the year, the guitar and price? I have been looking for 14 series Taylor to accompany my 2 000 Martins, but I see this guitar been for sale for a while.
I would like to play it first but trying to gauge thoughts before I decide to make the effort.
