Apologies if this has been discussed already. I’ve only ever listed items on eBay until recently discovering depop. I’ve since put a handful of items on there while testing the waters and do find the potential profit to be ~10% higher (lesser fees, but also no way to make a gain on the shipping spread).

If I have a buyer sending me offers/messages about buying an item for a lower price, can I direct them to a depop listing for the same item — where I would be more willing to accept a lower price? I get that this may have been a major violation in the past, but depop is being acquired by eBay, so it may become more acceptable? Any thoughts are appreciated.

My son is moving up to kid pitch in the fall season after 4 seasons/2 years of sling pitch. He’s barely 8 years old though and a little guy though who is still using a Rawlings Coolflo tee ball helmet. Even that model is arguably roomy for him. I tried buying the Rawlings Coolflo extension, only to realize it’s only compatible with Junior and Senior models.

I get it that typically a tee ball helmet/player would never have a need for a jaw guard, but does anyone know of any brands where this might work? At worst, I’ll probably upgrade him to the Junior model and tell to wear his team cap underneath. That’s better than taking one off the face from some hulking 10yr old trying to find his small strike zone.
