I have completely switched over to Winhanced in my ROG Ally and I’ve even uninstalled and completely disabled Armoury crate services and for the most part I don’t miss using AC. That being said, there are a few features of AC that I either:

A: cannot find within Winhanced settings

B: Winhanced does not offer these settings, so I cannot changed them without some other software

The settings that I am referring to are:

Can Winhanced control the dead zones of the joysticks and triggers? I am playing R&C Rift Apart and the right trigger dead zone can’t be set so I have to crank on the trigger to get certain weapons to fire. Also the right joystick needs a dead zone set mostly for desktop mode where you use it to move the mouse.

Can Winhanced go up to the 42w power output when it is docked like you can set manually in AC? It was very useful in docked mode for certain games to get the maximum amount of power to the handheld to try and squeeze the most performance out of it, but the most I’ve seen Winhanced allow is 30W.

If these settings are already available in Winhanced I cannot find them, and if they are not available yet, then consider this post a request for these features. Overall, I’m very happy with my switch to Winhanced though so thanks to the developer for your constant updates and changed to the app.

I’m trying to get a download something and the only website I’ve seen with a pre-installed or torrent available is pcgamestorrents. I’ve never downloaded from here, does anyone have experience with downloading from this website

I just updated Winhanced to the latest version today and afterwards the command button and armory crate button do not work for the HUD and task switcher like they were before the update. The controller configuration is still set and I tried restarting and it still didn’t work. Anyone know how I can fix this? It would be nice to have control over TDP and Overlay while I’m in game

My question to the community is, is it worth it to pay for Xbox cloud gaming ($15 or $23/month) if I don’t own an xbox? I would love the ability to play AAA titles at good picture quality and frame rates without having to pay for a Gaming PC or an XG Mobile. Would GeForce Now be worth it either?

I’m thinking about dual booting my ROG Ally because emulation on Windows has been giving me trouble with docked mode. I can’t connect an external controller seamlessly and from Edgar I hear, the Steam input and Steam rom manager emudeck integration is seamless. What is your experience with docked experiences and setting up emulation or external controllers for any game for that matter.

Basically, just like the title says. I’ve been loving using enhanced, but I mapped the task switcher to the armory crate button on my ROG ally, and it only works 25% of the time so I have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen. what can I do to fix this issue?

I tried downloading Winhanced on my ROG Ally Z1 because it looks like a great alternative to putting Bazzite or SteamOS on my Ally and I was really excited to use it…but. I installed it and when I did, Armoury Crate completely broke, my Ally started lagging though every screen, and none of my Hotkeys that were working before installation worked. Am I doing something wrong? I thought it might have been something i did so I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing happened. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Armoury Crate after reinstalling Winhanced and every time I restarted the handheld, Armoury Crate was broken again. Is it a lost cause and I’m stuck with Xbox FSE?

I just got lossless scaling on my ROG Ally and I’ve been trying to mess with lossless scaling to get the best performance out of my handheld. When I start a game and set the resolution to 900p or 720p in game setting then use lossless scaling to try and upscale to 1080p it says scale factor -> 1.0 no matter what I set the game setting too. The scaling mode settings are on auto and aspect ratio. The frame gen works great but I’d really like to get the upscaling method to work too to get the most out of the app.

I wanted to mention too that I tested this app on Elden Ring because the game settings don’t have any method for upscaling so I’d like to us LS to upscale and get a better frame rate.

Every time I restart my Ally, the screen boots back into Xbox mode with washed out colors like it’s in HDR or something. The only way I have been able to fix the issue is booting into armoury crate and go back into the Xbox app. How can I fix this without having to change apps?

I got my Ally this week and I’ve been messing with it docked and I was able to setup my 8bitdo Ultimate flawlessly and the Home button pulls up the command center automatically, I didn’t have to remap it or anything. My question is, is there a way to map the back buttons on my controller to be able to switch tabs like I can on the actual Ally (M1 + Right on D-Pad to switch tabs, etc.) so I can use my external controller to set up lossless scaling in docked mode?

I’m watching some ROG ally game tests on YouTube and a lot of them use the eclipse mod. Is this something I can do through Windows or is it exclusive to steam OS?

I just got my Z1 non-extreme and I’m excited to start playing games. What are some community favorites that run well on this chipset so I can dive head first into some games that run well?

I’m doing some research before getting my ROG Ally Z1E this weekend and I’m not sure what to do for my main OS. I’m getting one with 2 TB of storage and I’m debating between partitioning half for Bazzite and half for Windows or just using something like Winhanced and staying with just windows so I don’t have to split my storage. Anyone with experience have any good advice for me?

I just started using the AF3 skin and I think it looks great! But I’m trying to add The Crew add on and Red Light and it won’t let me add new sources. Is there a setting I need to change for this or do I need to go back to the default skin and add the add ons before using AF3?
