N64 Dark game sequels

Majoria's Mask and Banjo Tooie were the darkest of the games.

MM with the dreaded fate of the moon falling and destroying Clocktown and killing the residents. The game was filled with dread, sadness, and loss of hope. The NPCS really made you feel for them all as you help them out and most have learned their sad fate of what is coming. By the 3rd day, it felt depressing in Clocktown and everywhere. It's quite a depressing and sad game.

Banjo Tooie, which is the sequel to Banjo Kazooie. BT felt much darker, the whole tone, the environment felt dark and mire depressing in a way. Bottles dying was tragic, and his wife grieving. Enemies felt more aggressive in a way and the overall tone colours felt more dimmer and felt more serious. Compared to BK it uses vibrant, colourful environments and upbeat music. The music in Banjo Tooie felt more depressing in a way.

8bit 64 controller v2.05

I am playing with the original N64 controller, but I do want to buy the 8bit 64 controller to play on the Analogue 3d.

I really like the look of the grey n64 8bit 64 controller and have the same colour buttons as the original n64 controller.

But before I buy this, I need to know if it works good, how does it play like in the games?

I've read that there is a issue with pressing the c buttons at the same time which doesn't work, so that would be a major problem with games such as Crusin USA where you need to press several c buttons at once to change the cars. But I'm not sure if this has been fixed with the latest update v2.05?

I really would love to consider buying this.

Does it work great with Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie? And really all n64 games?

Analogue 3D made me return back to the good old days

I just brought the Analogue 3D and man I'm having a blast playing N64 games. I have rebrought many of the N64 games that I grew up playing as a child during the 90s and some new ones that I never played.

I have got a good selection of N64 games now.

Banjo Kazooie

Banjo Tooie

Ocarina of Time

Majoria's Mask

Crusin USA

Crusin World (Never played this before)

Super Mario 64 (Never played this as a child so I'm excited to play this for the very first time)

Mystical Ninja Staring Goemon (Never played this before)

My favourite games are Ocarina of Time, Majoria's Mask and I love the Banjo Kazooie games.

It's so great to relive the N64 games again, they were very revolutionary for its time back in the 90s as the first 3D Nintendo system. The N64 had so many great games.

I much prefer retro video games then modern day gaming nowadays.

The Analogue 3D is basically the new N64 console of today. And N64 games have never look so good now with all these settings to make the games look really clear. I, of course still prefer using CRT Filters on the N64 games as they hide many of the blocky polygons.

Kakariko Village Cozy but has a dark hidden past

OoT N64

Kakariko Village is a very cozy, peaceful village. But deep under The Well near the windmill lies a hidden underground labyrinth of darkness where the dark history of the Royal Family of the land of Hyrule exists, where the past of history of Royal Family used to torture their enemies, filled with torture chambers and dry red blood of its past and a dangerous forboden monster is hidden waiting for Link.

Witch's Shop Kakariko Village

The Witch's Potion Shop located in a hidden spot in Kakariko Village.

This place always really scared me as a child. It's really a spooky, gloomy atmosphere, the wallpaper looks eerie. Inside the shop it has this very creepy witchy vibe. And the old witch herself looks scary.

And the shop is well hidden in the village, and to get to it during Link's adult timeline you needed to climb one of the houses roofs and then jump down into this hidden Witch's Potion Shop.

Inside the shop has this really uncomfortable foreboding sense.

Update: I just noticed the old witch has a cute little baby tiger lol never noticed that before. It must be her pet ❤️ maybe she's not as wicked as I thought.

Burke N64

I have read a bit about this sad case. I am Burke's age born in 1987, when i was 9 years old in 1996 the N64 was a big thing for us kids back then. Me and my brother got the n64 a bit later in 1998 and i remember playing Banjo Kazooie, Ocarina of Time etc and we would play it every change we could get. I'm from Australia and it was very big here.

Anyway i heard that Burke was more interested in another toy which i do find it odd as the N64 was so amazing to us kids back in the 90s when it came out. It was hardly talked about in interviews and crime scene photos.

Rumours have been going that Burke was angry at his little sister JonBenet and killed her and his N64 console or controller was the item he accidentally killed her with it. Maybe JonBenet wanted to play his N64 so badly and Burke got frustrated as he was playing or she might have deleted his save game file and Burke went insane. Trust me I have experienced this myself, my brother who is one year older then me got so angry that i accidentally erased his game file he went completely insane at me, and i had a friend in Primary School in which i accidentally erased his save game file and he also wanted to hurt me so badly. Some kids can't control their emotions well, i was a different kid who was more calm about things.

Do you think that is why Burke or his family never mentions his N64? if this is true his parents must be protecting him.

I'm so happy that i found out about the Analogue 3d

The Analogue 3d is bringing N64 games back to life again. Its basically the new N64 console but even better as it has so many quality settings that makes your N64 games even clearer and better then ever before. This has made me go back to rebuying many of my childhood N64 games again and its so great to return to the N64.

I have got a few N64 games now that i am currently playing on it:

Banjo Kazooie

Banjo Tooie

Ocarina of Time

Majoria's Mask

Super Mario 64 (1st time playing this never played it as a kid)

Crusin USA

Crusin World

And some BK Romhacks (playing on SummerCart 64) :

Banjo Kazooie Jiggies of Time

Banjo Kazooie Gruntida's Mask

It's so great to return back to playing N64 games again and the original N64 game cartridges. I'm playing the analogue 3d on my 32 inch 4k monitor and it looks amazing, i do play with CRT Filters as i love scanlines on old games like n64 as it hides those blocky graphics.

Jiggies of Time an amazing BK game for fans of OoT N64

Let's talk about how great BK Jiggies of Time is. I just started playing it and i am loving it. OoT is not only my most favourite Zelda game but also my most favourite video game ever. Seeing BK in n64 OoT brings back so much nostalgia and i love it.

What makes Jiggies of Time so special is the game was not a copy and paste assets or just putting BK in OoT environment but Mark Kurko created or redone all the environments and changed its whole gameplay to make it visually look like a BK game and actually play like a BK game. And its a fully completed game that takes around 15 hours to complete and 30 hours to 100%. I have just started so im not sure how long it will take me to complete yet or to 100%. I am currently exploring Kakariko Village and Hyrule Castle Town and just loving it, trying to get the collectibles like jiggies, notes etc, i need to get that bomb bag transformation (haven't transformed yet but read about this online so im excited)

Jiggies of Time is probably going to be like my most favourite BK game after i have finished it, just because its set in OoT.

I don't want to spoil myself to much as im currently playing this.

What i also love about Mark Kurko BK games like Jiggies of Time is that they are N64 games, this has made me play my N64 again and i have returned to playing BK and BT N64 games i actually re-brought the n64 cartridges of BK and BT and playing them on my analogue 3d. Also what is amazing with Jiggies of Time is you can play this game on a actual N64 console or the analogue 3d as it detects the game as a actual N64 game cause the game code is run on the original BK N64 game. I'm playing Jiggies of Time on my SummerCart 64 and it works perfectly on my Analogue 3d.

Who else here is a big fan of OoT and have played this romhack by Mark Kurko. I personally don't even want to call this a romhack as Jiggies of Time feels like a authentic BK N64 game.

I never played it

I grew up with the n64 as a child of the 90s, my most favourite n64 games were the Banjo Kazooie and it's sequel Banjo Tooie. But somehow I never got Super Mario 64. I guess one of the reasons might be is that me and my brother got the n64 in 1998 when Banjo Kazooie came out and Ocarina of Time was released.

I am starting to get into my n64 games since I brought the analogue 3d.

I probably will still prefer and like the Banjo Kazooie games as they seem more exploration, more collectibles, much more interesting vibrant worlds and a good story and better graphics.

But I do want to give Super Mario 64 a chance, when I do watch some short clips of the game, it seems like a cozy game, not too complicated, and there just seem Zen about the game. It's graphics assets environments were very simplistic as it was the very first n64 game released in 1996 and being a Mario game has this excitement going for it.

I want to give it a try.

I like Navi

I never actually minded Navi, she was extremely helpful if you don't know what to do or where to go and it was good to have someone with you to keep you company and as a friend. I never minded her at all while playing on the n64. Don't get all the hate.

I like Kazooie she's hilarious

I find her hilarious with her funny and mean remarks she makes like towards Bottles and other characters you meet in your adventure in both Banjo Kazooie and Tooie. She's a smartass in other words 😆 and I love her.

That is what N64 games were like during the 90s and humour. Unlike today where everybody gets quickly offended by literally everything.

But I do love Kazooie humour and sometimes can even be a smartass towards Banjo himself.

Kazooie is also a very pretty bird as well.

Was bored and who appears

I was at home and it was a overcast day and I hear a knock on my door and to my very surprise Banjo appears to drop in to say HI, I asked "Where is Kazooie" and Banjo said "She's around the corner just pecking around. So I let Banjo and Kazooie in my house and I rushed to turn on my analogue 3d and put in Banjo Kazooie and we all play the game all night and had some laughs and Kazooie made her usual funny remarks and we all laugh. After I fed my beautiful lovely cat. I went into the kitchen and baked a nice warm apple raspberry pie for Banjo and gave Kazooie some birdseed.

Kazooie called me some names at some point and I laugh and laugh oh it's so you Kazooie.

The next day we all played Banjo Tooie together and it was great, Kazooie said she was the hero of the game and Banjo was a idiot 😄 haha that's so Kazooie lol.

Well sooner or later Banjo and Kazooie left my house and I cried Banjo hug me and Kazooie said she left a blue egg that she pooped from her butt in my living room. I said thank you and I will miss you both.

That is my story of meeting Banjo and Kazooie.

Lisa Loring as Wednesday

She was so adorable as Wednesday on the 1960s tv series The Adams Family. She had a very sad childhood outside of The Adams Family as her mother was a alcoholic abusive mother. Lisa mentioned her cast Family coworkers on set was like her family and her TV co-star parents felt like her real parents and she had a great fun time on the set of The Adams Family.

My favourite place in OoT

Kakariko Graveyard is my most favourite place in OoT. It's this very old graveyard with old graves and when your in this old graveyard it feels cozy during the day-time with the overcast grey sky and ambience noise, the place just has this cosiness haunting feel to it.

I guess why i like this place it reminds me of visiting old graveyards in real life during the day time on a overcast day which i just like to walk through, being quite and relaxing in a way. But in no way would i be exploring a cemetery at night, as i am terrified of the dark. Day-time is not scary for me as i can see everything. Also being fully respectful when you go to a cemetery even if your doing some ghosts investigations like evps etc.

But anyway thats why i like Kakariko Graveyard it just reminds me of a real life old graveyard.

The best NPCS Quests in Majoria's Mask

Are these the best NPCS Side Quests in the game?

Anju and Kafei - the couple which before their wedding night, Kafei got cursed and he got turned into a child.

Romani and her older sister Cremia

Little girl Pamela and her cursed dad who turned into a mummy

These npcs side quests sound really great and full of emotion.

I can't wait to play MM again and actually do these side quests which i haven't done yet.

These are just some quick screenshots i found online and read a bit about these side-quests.

Damn i have to be careful not to spoil too much for myself and just start playing lol.
