Our Quilt Model at Work

This is a quilt my wife and I are working on for a wedding gift. She is the master mind and project lead. I provide reliable ironing and cutting support. Her sous-seamstrist we joke.

She just alerted me to this sub and felt like showing off her work and Gertie's modeling skills.

Place looks to be taking off!

Woke is broke!

This is sub for real warhammerers and totally isn't just the mods gassing each other up.

You can tell it is hopping because they are officially farming their own posts for new posts already.

They are legion!

I was inspired and accidentally made this. -Not My Build-

This was created by another poster, and I instantly fell in love. When I came to my senses, I found this on my phone.

Putting here because I couldn't reply with a picture.

With the 11th boys looking to be a new era, lets hear what folks think when they see these covers.

I attempted chronological, but I was out during the aughts and teens, so please add or correct

Bases Question

BLUF: Is it ok if bases are larger than specified in the kit?

Hi all, I was looking at killteams and saw the alternate leadership options for the brood brothers kit.

I got excited since I have a magus I am working on with a base from a pack of scifi bases I liked.

The issue is that they are 32 mm and I am seeing the killteam goes on 25's.

I have not really played Killteam, but have a lot of experience with older edition GW stuff and looser play, but also see the validity of the base size discussion in current gaming. I just seem to hear about bases needing to be made larger to meet the rules. I have not personally considered going oversize.

For vehicle looting that is not modeling for advantage within reason.

Either way, I am stoked to build the kit. Are there any other teams that are this diverse?

I almost feel like getting another box at some point to be able to run options.

I mean, leader and 13 troopers feels like I found killteam hoard mode, but you get to be the horde. The crossfire and cover circumvention stuff looks really fun/annoying.

....so close

I used to play Empire and was thrilled for CoS to get the cool walking fort. I was safe knowing I would not be tempted. Then I was reminded...

Based on a a slap-dash survey of response in other threads, it appears the community has head-cannoned two new named Ork characters into existence.

Have any others solidified?

Is this our official fab five, or did I miss anyone?

While other factions may fret over the sufficient amounts of swag on their jumpy old men, Orks are welcoming new friends. Seriously, they have some cool stuff coming. I look forward to looting a speeder or two for specialty buggy conversions.
