Busy Fourth of July?

Busy Fourth of July?

I thought this was pretty funny! The graph looks horrible and then it totally contradict itself with the incentives of it’s gonna be really busy underneath lol but it’s pouring down rain here so I’m not gonna be a good day anyway! Hope y’all have a great Fourth of July and make lots of money

Asbury Road

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I was wondering why Asbury Road stays at 35 mph even after you leave town? It just seems like it’s so slow to get anywhere on that road. My husband and I were maybe thinking there was an accident there years ago and that’s why it stays at 35 mph but we are just guessing lol hope y’all have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend.

OnePay

First off, I’m not getting paid for this nor am I a spokesperson lol But I know a lot of new drivers have questions about the One Pay card. I didn’t sign up for it right away, but after thinking about it and getting the bonus points, I thought I would give it a try. And from my experience only, I can tell you it was a great decision! I also linked my regular checking account so at the end of the day, I can send money over to my bank and no charge if I just wanna wait till the next day. Or you can pay a small fee and get it right away into your bank. Both times that I have had issues with not getting my cash back, after they were notified they fixed it immediately. Which in itself says a lot about a company. Because if my bank has to fix something, it takes 5 to 7 business days lol so I know everybody has their opinions, but this grandma enjoys the card. I think so far, I’ve gotten over $200 cash back which I’m gonna be using to go see my grandchildren next week. So anyway that’s my two cents worth I have just seen a lot of new people asking about it. Hope y’all have a very enjoyable holiday weekend and make some money!

Traveling to Texas

Next week I will be driving to Texas from Iowa to visit my grandchildren. I haven’t been down there in two years so this Nana is very excited! And because I like to spoil them rotten I was thinking of doing Spark from like 6 AM to 8 AM while they’re still sleeping. Was wondering if anybody is from the Denton Texas area and how it is? I know you don’t want competition and I understand that. But when I go to Rockford Illinois to visit my other daughter, there’s like eight Walmarts and it was a little overwhelming lol I’m from a one Sam’s Club one Walmart area I seen there is a lot of Walmarts there and was just wondering how many they have in each zone. Thank you ahead of time for your help! I hope you’re all staying cool and people are tipping you in this heat unlike in my area lol

No tip in 98°

I understand the no tipping thing and people don’t want to do it. But I am telling you, I am not carrying anything in 98° where someone is sitting at home in their air-conditioning ordering and expecting us to bring it! People need to use their brain a little bit and understand it’s freaking hot out here! A little common sense goes a long way. So when you don’t get your order and it’s above 90° where you’re at, this is exactly why!

Bridge closed

I’m wondering if anybody else has experienced this. There is a major bridge closed over the Mississippi river in my area. It has been for two weeks and will continue this way for two to three months. I and other drivers had contacted Spark many of times to tell them that they need to add the extra 9 to 10 miles It is to go across another bridge to go around to the city on the other side of the closed bridge. They have not done that. So it’s not just the extra mileage, but a customer will get a time for delivery stating we will be there 15 minutes earlier than the actual time by going around. I’ve come to the point where I let every customer know they didn’t factor in the bridge being closed so I will be there at whatever time is 15 minutes past what they gave them. Because it’s gonna be closed for at least another two months maybe three, does anybody know how I can get a hold of somebody besides chat and phone calls to have them change this. Because what’s happening is nobody is taking those orders over there because the mileage is 10 miles off.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

I have been craving barbecue chicken pizza for so long! So tonight I took a shot at it. And it is absolutely amazing!
One large of canned chicken mixed with one egg and a half a cup of Parmesan. Spread on parchment paper cook for 10 minutes at 400.
Sugar-free barbecue sauce, red onions, bacon, and mozzarella.
Cook for another about 10 minutes. Oh my good Lord it’s so good.

Why not finish one before the other?

I don’t understand why they wouldn’t make sure with the Illinois bridge closed down that getting across the Wisconsin bridge would be easier and not have construction!

I prayed to Spark Gods🤣

I prayed to the Spark Gods this morning to please give me some good offers because I leave in three weeks to drive to Texas to see my grandbabies! They are starting off good! Hey, it’s worth a shot. LMAO I’ll take whatever works.

Has anyone tried these?

I found these at Aldi’s and was wondering if somebody has tried them and what the result is. I was thinking of just some butter and Parmesan just to get my fix on some pasta. Any other ideas would be great! They also had Angel hair as well.

One Pay Wednesday

I got a whole five cents for my $49 gas purchase on Wednesday using my OnePay Card. Supposed to get a $1 per gallon. So I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ll start using my other card if they’re not gonna pay it out. Anybody else have this problem?

Google and Apple Maps

Is anyone else having a problem with the maps taking you the longest way possible. I know my area pretty good and I caught on fairly quickly for being old lol I’ve tried both maps and at least 3 to 4 times a day this Th happens. And the mileage from Spark is not matching the maps so that’s my indication. So I’ve been pulling up the address, through Google, and looking at the whole route before I leave.

You know it’s bad when…

I have rejected this 12 times and obviously so has everybody else that’s how bad it is! It’s only 5 miles. But it’s third floor and 10 of those 102 items are 50 pack of water and of course no tip lol I don’t care how much it goes up. I’m not doing that when it’s 90° outside!

4 TV’s No tip!

I don’t know which dummy ended up taking this but this person wanted four TVs from Sam’s Club that we had to shop and then deliver 25 miles away. Spark was paying a whole $19 lol and of course the customer left no tip! Pure craziness. Oh, and by the way, it has been raining and storming the entire day.

Should I Join?

I’m hoping to get some feedback. I currently work for Spark. And as everybody knows it’s kind of going downhill. I still make Ok money but some days it’s a little hard. I just got off the waiting list in my area for Amazon Flex. And I would like some feedback on a couple things.

Do you have to accept orders every day or within a certain time Period?

I am 53 so wondering if there’s a lot of heavy items. Not the 53 years old but six months ago I had both of my knees replaced and I’m not trying to mess them up again lol

Do you enjoy it? Any feedback is welcome.

Thank you so much! I hope you have a blessed weekend full of money!

Customers that understand!

First order of the day to a customer that understands and tips $1 a mile to get to their house! Good start to the day!

Pick up Sam’s Club

To whoever this concerns: The signs that say pick up 1 through 12 in my location, means you are picking up an order! It does not mean, let me park my car here because I am entitled and going to shop for somebody’s order! Not only are drivers picking up orders, there are also Sam’s customers picking up their orders! And also you can get deactivated real quick if a Sam’s employee sees you doing it! Don’t be a jerk, you can walk a little bit further!

Apple and Google Maps

For the last two days, I was sent in a rural area which I’m familiar with the small towns because I am from there. But I didn’t recognize the road so I followed first off Google Maps. If I would’ve recognized the street or had brains enough to scroll down to the route they were taking me, I would have noticed. It would’ve been 10 miles less! It took me on every back road through gravel to get to the house. When I get there, the lady said why would you take that route lol she gave me an extra $10 because of it and I said well that’s where Google Maps took me. So today I’m like I’m done with Google. I will turn to Apple Maps. Again, I’m old and not thinking so didn’t see the route and it again took me about 9 miles out of the way where I could’ve been there a lot sooner. But the mileage from both maps matches up with Spark does anybody else have this happen? Is it Spark app doing the routes? Since the mileage matches up with the Apple and Google? And again before you say it, yes I should’ve looked at the route, but I feel like I shouldn’t have to lol as a grandma I was cussing more than I should.

Aldi Bread Cheese

I finally found something that feels like I’m cheating, but I’m not! If you’re craving mozzarella sticks buy this cheese! You slice it and put it in the pan until it’s brown on both sides and it is amazing! I tried the garlic one, but they also have original and bacon! I’m going back tomorrow for more! And it is only around $3.50. It won’t let me add a photo, but it is by the fresh mozzarella at Aldi’s.
