We only have one Walmart and one Sam’s Club and finally the drivers are getting it! There are 14 orders that have been in there for over an hour. They are all 2 or 3 shop and deliver, and zero tip on all of them! And it is 815 at night, so I’m assuming none of them are going to get their stuff tonight! Between 3 people you can’t come up with even five dollars lol and it’s sad that Spark can’t even find a good one with the tip to put with two bad ones lol good luck!

We were told today that until next Monday, there will be no pick up orders at our Walmart. They will all be shop and delivers. And if it works, which means if Walmart makes more money, then it will be permanent. Anybody else hear this at their stores?

So with all the construction, we all know the ones that want to get all the way to the front of the lane and get over at the last minute when we all see that we need to get over. Well today, none of us were letting this lady in, and there was an undercover behind me, flashed his lights at me to let her in! So I let her in, but I wasn’t happy about it! She could’ve waited behind the 25 cars like we all had to! OK end of rant lol have a great weekend!

At 6:30 tonight, I had an order where they ordered three cheeseburgers from the deli, and I was always under the assumption that they got notification of that. And there was none in the warmers. So I went and asked them if they could please make me three cheeseburgers and it was for a Spark order. And she said that they take 45 minutes to make??? I know they’re not making those on a grill! I always assume they were frozen and probably threw them in a microwave or something. So the customer didn’t get their cheeseburgers, but I was just wondering am I wrong thinking that they know ahead of time and it looked like they were all cleaning up I think it closes at seven so maybe that’s why they didn’t wanna make them. I’m not sure.

I am seriously thinking of relocating to the area. I am 54, live in Iowa, both of my girls are grown, and I live by myself. So I’m thinking my favorite place is a child. It was to go to Osage Beach and the lake of the Ozarks. I have a daughter that lives in Texas and one in Illinois so it would be right in the middle. I just want to start over at an amazing place, that brings back great memories and to make new ones! I just thought I would ask if this is a good idea or am I just flying off the wall lol
I retired from the newspaper business, and now work for Spark delivering and shopping for Walmart and Sam’s Club. I know there isn’t one there. But I could drive to Jefferson City. It would be fine. If I needed it. We don’t have a Chili’s here, but I did work at Chili’s in Rockford Illinois for three years so I would see if I could work a couple nights there. I left on very good terms, so I would just have to see if they were hiring.
I’ve been looking at online rentals and it seems so reasonable there, compared to here or in Rockford! I would be coming by myself, which absolutely sounds amazing. I live by myself here, and I do have family surrounding me, but sometimes that’s a little overwhelming as well. My daughters told me that it’s time to take care of myself. they are both fine and married and grandkids and it’s my time to shine!
If you could give me any pros or cons about this crazy idea, I would appreciate them!
And I know the off-season at Chili’s is not great. My aunt and uncle were just down there and they were asking the servers. But the off-season would be Christmas and New Year’s with Sam’s Club and Walmart.
I’m thinking about making this move in November, so if any of you have a two bedroom, (family will come visit, but will leave lol) either an apartment or condo for rent please let me know! I have no pets great rental history since I sold my home and just want something clean and or I can go home and relax!

I know this is a question that I’m hoping 90% of us know the answer to. It should be 100%! But today, unfortunately I was in the wrong place wrong time when I was in Dyersville and tornado warning came on, and it was horrifying to be honest. In 54 years I was as scared as I’ve ever been lol However the stoplights were out and as I am trying to leave the McDonald’s parking lot after it settled down a little bit, not 1, not 2 but 3 cars just zoomed by, through the light that was not working! How do people not know that this becomes a four-way stop? Things just baffle me sometimes.

I just had a two shop and delivery. As always as soon as I scan the first item, I send them a message through the app letting them know that I am doing two orders, but I’ll be as quick as I can , that their items would be in coolers, blah blah blah. Well, the one lady says that she did not have the delivery set until between 8 and 9 o’clock tonight. I explained to her that I had no control over that and I apologize. She said she’s at work and not gonna be home till at least eight. I said well I can go ahead and cancel your order and then somebody else can bring it between eight and nine this customer says well I need that order. That’s why I wondered there at eight and what if it doesn’t get delivered till tomorrow I said I have no say over that and I apologize again. This woman had the nerve or balls to tell me that I can just wait outside her house until she gets home. I explained I can’t sit in front of your house for two hours ma’am I’m working. I said again I am more than happy to cancel your order and another Spark Driver can bring it later on. Her comeback was well you said you’re gonna have it in coolers. Can you just leave your cooler there and come back after nine and pick it up??? I said ma’am you have a gallon of ice cream I don’t think it’s gonna last in this weather for two hours whether it’s in a cooler or not my coolers keep things frozen for an hour. So I proceed to start putting the things back trying to get a hold of Spark and then she replies back again as as well since you screwed my night up, can you at least give me the courtesy of taking it to my neighbors house.? Shorty tipped $10 said that she put another 10 on there either way it’s fine. It’s better than losing money !
Why Spark, if people are paying a price to have it delivered between a certain time are we taking it there 2 to 3 hours earlier because most people schedule that time because they’re not going to be home.

What would you guys have done?

Just to save anybody a trip if that’s what they’re coming for, Sam’s Club has the dairy section and the vegetable section coolers closed off. The temperatures are not holding,

I just noticed there was a new update, anyone notice anything new with it? I hope you are all making lots of money! It’s overwhelming in my zone today, because we have one Walmart and one Sam’s Club because of the storms last night their power went out at 6:30 so still playing catch-up! And is the first of the month so you can just imagine lol

I have never seen this happen until today. But either a Pharmacy tech or Spark Driver is probably going to lose their job, if not both.
I received a pharmacy pick up from Sam’s Club for $12 to go 1 mile and it was slow so I took it. I get to the Pharmacy give them the name and she says well. The lady had two of them and a different Spark Driver came to pick up one of them so I asked him if he wanted both and he said yes. I asked, did he scan them both in, she said no, one wouldn’t scan, but the other one did! I said that’s probably because she ordered them at different times and they sent two different drivers to deliver them. The pharmacist overheard and came over and you could tell by her face, she was mortified! She asked to look at my phone, she then went into the computer and it was showing it was still at the pharmacy. I told her I had to call Spark and tell them because I can’t put my job on the line for a pharmacy pick up.
I get a hold of Spark, explain what happened. Tell them they probably want to try and reach the other driver to tell him to bring the prescription back. They told me I could go ahead and cancel, I said I’m sorry, I’m not going to do that because this is not on me. They were very nice and went ahead and canceled it for me and paid me $6.
I came back about an hour later to do shopping for Customer, and found out that the Spark driver left both prescriptions at the Customer’s house. But only scanned one of them. I know it was an overlook on both the Pharmacy tech and the Spark Driver, but somebody is not gonna be happy at the end of the day.

I have been trying to find out how to reach anybody. I cashed in $25 for a Domino’s gift card about three weeks ago and I still do not have it. I’ve searched my email, junk mail everything! It says that I on the app that I cashed in $25 worth, but it has not been used because I have not received it. I’m about to switch to another gas app, because half the time I don’t even get the cash back and now I can’t even cash in what I do get lol

Who thinks we’re really going to be busy because of the World Cup this afternoon? I don’t deliver to a lot of bars lol. But maybe because I don’t watch it, I don’t know the hype.

Has anyone worked since the update yesterday? I was wondering if they noticed anything different before I start today lol I like to prepare myself.🤣

I’ve been doing this a long time and my zone is stating it’s super busy today. I have never waited for more than 15 minutes for an order and this morning. I’ve been sitting for an hour! Re-downloaded the app restarted my phone everything. I’m wondering if anybody else in Iowa are not getting orders or I may be being punished for taking a week off to go to Texas lol my scores are great so it’s not that either.
