Why Chinese Author are so racist?

I'm really taken back by how (some) CN authors depict other races (fantasy races) as something to be slaughtered with no guilt because they are of other races.

Especially in Xianxia. There's even a common quote I always see in different novels talking about other races having ulterior motives.

CN authors uses this to justify genocide and slavery.

And for some reason they also depict someone from Southeast Asia or Indian as barbaric or ugly, why is that?

>"So, to deal with these kinds of people, let's be simple and brutal: just wipe them out. Anyway, the purpose of Indians' existence is to disgust people, so they don't deserve to die!" > >Shi Yue thought about it and agreed that it made a lot of sense!

It's really shocking when this story is about farming and being cozy. Like.... Is it normal here?

[Recommendations] Looking for stories that has the most interesting system or golden finger

After reading "I Was Mistaken as a Monstrous Genius Actor," I became obsessed with stories that have unique systems. So, if anyone has read some, please recommend them to me.

Not just system manhwas, I'm also interested in MC's with unique cheat ability. Besides that, if you have a concept for a unique golden finger or system, drop them in the comments.

Also, explain how the system works or what is the cheat ability of the MC. So I could compile my reading list right away. Thank you in advance! Much love <3

Note: Golden Finger = Cheat Ability

Need help in finding a novel about a guy who transmigrated as an ugly debt ridden streamer and get beautiful with the help of a system

I dunno if this is the right platform to ask, but I desperately need help finding this novel.

I didn't really read the novel directly, I just seen a video narration of it on YouTube. As you know, some of those stories narrated by ai usually don't have titles (which is frustrating).

It's a Chinese one at that (I conclude based on the names and location mentioned in the story, but the vid was in English, perhaps translated), so searching for a title would be quite hard.

Anyways, this is the premise:

Ye Ze transmigrates into a parallel world, becoming a small-time streamer drowning in debt.

This small-time streamer is juggling multiple relationships — simultaneously playing poor and flirting with six "sisters" for sympathy, while putting up a rich-guy persona online. He takes out loans to gift female streamers, enjoying the thrill of being treated like a big shot.

He's 182 cm tall, weighs 187 jin (about 93.5 kg), and is 28 years old — overweight, greasy, and uses his voice to trick fans into sending gifts.

When Ye Ze sees the debt of 3.76 million, his vision goes dark again and again. In despair, he wants to delete his account and start over.

At the critical moment, he binds with the "Love Live-Streaming System", which allows him to gain Love Points from his audience during streams. Love Points can be used in the system shop to buy stat cards for appearance upgrades.

If the last mobile game you played became your super power, what game would you choose

Well I just watched slop stories on my fyp, and stumbled upon a story with a premise like this. Don't ask for the title, I don't know either. Since most of those stories are either incomplete or AI generated.

But the idea intrigued me. So I'd like to ask which game you would pick. List your abilities, limitations, and how you would use them.

Usually, these stories start with the apocalypse happening and people suddenly gaining magical abilities. The disaster varries. It could be a zombie apocalypse, ice age, global melting, etc.

Mine would be Stardew Valley. Here are the reasons.

In Stardew Valley you could plant crops indoors as long as you have a pot. So I could just plant foods inside my home, without worrying about going outside, scurrying for supplies.

Also, the most important ability would be raising affections. In Stardew Valley, you could raise an NPC's affection by giving them gifts, of course it needs to be something they like. So, I could gather allies by gifting them supplies and stuff.

How about the stores, like Marnie's shop or Pier's shop where would you buy stuff?

Usually in those stories you would also gain a corresponding system (sometimes, depends on the story). So that means that all of the stores and shops in the game are converted into system shops. Meaning all the stuff you could buy are only limited to the items that could be found in the game you last played.

How about the quest? Like junimo's quest for example?

It will be converted into a system quest. Meaning your system would be giving it to you. Of course, there would be rewards as well.

So, what game would you pick?

Additional Rules:

System store requires quest points to create an item to sell. The more harder the quest the more points it would give. Of course besides points, the quest also gives rewards like items, currency, and skills.

That's why you need to complete the given quest, so there would be items you could buy at the store.

But items or skills that are more magical, overtly destructive, or cannot be seen in real life, would cost a lot of points to conjure and buy. Also, the system would not give these things as a quest reward.

For example, items or skills from a farming game would be easier to produce, than the items from Dragon City.

After all, it's just seeds and crafting gadgets for farming games, while you have to conjure dragon eggs for games like dragon city.

Meaning, you would need to complete a lot of quests before the system could sell you a dragon egg. Also the more powerful the item is, the more points it would require. Not mentioning the cost of the item when you would buy it and the resources required to raise it.

Additional Rules #2

If your game lean on building stuff like spaceship, weapons, structures, etc.

Note: It would also apply to all the games that have crafting mechanics. Except Minecraft.

These are the restrictions.

Basically, you would need a blueprint before you could craft anything. These are only limited on game items. You could still create things that you know how to do, like a clay pot or something.

Also, items need resources before they could be built. Unless you buy the fully made item in the store.

Additional Rule #3

If your game is leaning into games like Genshin Impact or LOL.

The power you would gain is from the last character you used. For example, you are playing Xiao from Genshin Impact, you would then gain all of his in-game abilities when the apocalypse starts.

But of course, you also have to watch your mana or energy consumption when casting skills, watch out for fatigue level as well.

Also, innate mana/energy capacity, or stats like speed, strength, etc. depends on your natural constitution. If you are fat, of course you wouldn't be as agile as the character in game. Things like mana or something equivalent would depend on how heality you are. If you are sickly, you would have with less mana when you awaken.

Additional Rule #4

If your game is leaning on tower defense type like Clash of Clans.

Here are the rules.

The summoned troops would obey your orders right away, you would need to gain their trust first or prove you are worthy. This wouldn't happen if your stats are stronger than them.

Also you would need to feed them and supply them with weapons like swords, bow, arrow, etc. This also applies to structures like Archer Tower (or similar).

Most of the time, games like this have extractors or some kind, that would allow you to get resources. Not to mention, defensive weapon like cannon and watch towers in Clash of Clans.

Usually in games like Clash of Clans, you would just need resources and builder to build structures, but here, you would need a blueprint before you could build a structure, including the level ups.

They could either be bought at the system store or acquire upon completing a system quest. Read the Additional Rule #2 for more clarification.

Note: I will add more rules after I read your comments. I will just put it here, so I wouldn't need to comment on your replies one by one. It would also be efficient for new readers to see.

Note: There would be a local chat and global chat where you could chat with people locally or worldwide. There, you could trade resources but not items, skills, or blueprints.

Soul Switching

I'm just curious if the Soul Switching Apparatus can be used on other beings as well.

The >!Taquila Witches!< prioritizes God Punishment Warriors and >!Original Carriers!< as a vessel when transferring souls.

So I was wondering if it can be used on demonic beasts too. You know, the one who attack during Months of the Demons.

I just realized that the Wimbledons are based from the Targaryens

Even though the clues are in front of my face, I didn't realized it immediately.

After reading several manhwa/novels (specially the western theme ones), I realized authors like to take references in the Targaryens when creating their nobility.

Like in this story, the Wimbledons have hereditary silver hair, and their children are fighting for the throne. Which is reminiscent of the GOT.

It's so silly that I just realized now.

Note: I'm not saying the RTW is copying GOT, they have completely different plot. I'm just yapping.

Asking the tarot deck for it's personality

When I got my new deck. I see a video about asking your deck some interview questions, so I ask about which card represents its personality.

I pulled Seven of Swords and I don't know how to interpret it. Does it mean my deck is deceiving me or it's strategic?

Can a witch have multiple cyclones?

In theory, a witch can evolve her power multiple times and have several branch abilities. But they can only have one cyclone.

However, a demon can have multiple cyclones by devouring magic stones. So I was wondering, if a witch can also do that too. Can a witch develop two to three magic cyclones?

Can they achieve the same effect by devouring other witch's cyclones. If so, then how? Do they need to have special abilities like stealing or copying abilities just to achieve this?

Also, is there an apparatus that can allow witches to use other witch's powers? You know, an apparatus that can replicate and store a witch power or some kind?

Actually, I usually don't care when people joke about me. But it gets weird when it consistently happens.

Though I have insecurities about my appearance (because of acne + acne scars). I considered myself partially healed. I even show my school barefaced nowadays.

However, it bothers me why I'm always the joke, and it's always about appearance. It's weird to me, sometimes they say I looked pretty, then when in public and stuff, they make fun of me.

I usually laugh it off, but it happens a lot that it starts to bother me. Sometimes, I wonder whether they look down on me secretly.

I can take a joke, but they kept pestering me that it started to get annoying. Whether there's a joke, I get included. It's like they want me to react or something.

They even perceived me as sensitive, and easily offended. Like girl, you always joked about me, how could I not be mad?

Note: Does it bother people, when you don't react to something you don't like? Because when I don't like the joke, I usually ignore it than call it out. Plus they never listen so there's no point.

They are good to talk to in private, small group talk. But when there's a crowd, I become the butt of the joke.

I'm not really offended about the joke, sometimes I react and comment to make it funnier. But, it's the fact that they are always trying to humiliate me that makes me mad.

Even my close friend called it out, yet they didn't listen.

Some of my friends even notice and joke about me as well. It's like, they have to mention me if they want to be funny.

By the way, it's a girl group and I'm the only boy. I'm gay and fem presenting, you would think I'm a girl from afar. If it weren't for my deep voice, and a slight mustache that I don't shave because of laziness, it's hard to clock me.

Anyways, even though I always have the perfect comeback in my mind, I don't say it because I don't wanna match their energy and body/face shame them back.

What do you think is the reason for this, and how to solve it? And it's not an isolated case, it happen to me multiple times (different friend groups). But it's usually when I'm in female or gay dominated friend group.

At first, I thought it was because I'm weird and a big nerd. But it doesn't bother them at all, actually they like that about me.

And, usually these people are great to be with. My only issues is me being the butt of the joke.

Note: It happens in my previous friend group as well, but I cut them off. Because they're worse than my current friend group. Their joke is outright offensive.

I specifically made this post because of Maggie. I believe she has a secret derivative ability, that even she doesn't know about.

Maybe I'm looking into it too deeply, because it seems like a comedic relief.

But when you analyze it, you will wonder how Maggie can communicate with Joan? You know, the fish girl who forgot to talk because of isolation.

Despite being tutored by several scholars, Joan can only utter limited words. And according to Lorgar, their communication was incomprehensible. After all, they were communicating using animal sounds.

So this made me wonder if Maggie has an derivative ability that allows her to communicate with animals.

Note: I dunno if Camilla's ability can also work on animals. But, if it works on >!devils!<, it's possible that it can also work on animals.

Can the witches use the magic stone imbedded in the demon's arm? You know, the one that gives them super strength to throw spears very fast.

Also, is it hard for them to use magic stones in general? unless it's a sigil? Because I was wondering why the Ring of Flight wasn't utilized more.

Evelyn's ability can transform a low-quality ale into alcohol with totally different style and taste, such as delicious wine or fruit wine, as long as she tried it before.

The ability could turn fresh water, wine or other liquids into high-quality drinks. However, which drink would be the final product was uncontrollable. In other words, the final product each time was totally different. Thus the name Chaos Drinks.

Once they are created, you cannot recreate them. So basically, each drink is one of a kind.

But I think there's a plot hole here. Remember Evelyn's ability before evolution? She can transform low quality wine into a high quality wine, as long as she tastes it.

She can even replicate mixtures of alcohol. Like white liquor mixed with apple juice or milk. So, why not use her ability to replicate some of the Chaos Drinks?
