coming back to a melano with a variegated specimen but found it challenging to care for a few years ago, what are the expert tips to making it thrive so it can hopefully upsize quickly on a totem. I’ve seen a lot of people struggle as well.

Today, my practice manager, who is essentially a glorified paralegal, responded to my request for an extension at the last minute with the dismissive remark, “You can’t be overwhelmed. You have the least cases and most resources.” This response came after I had explained, for the first time, that I have been extremely overwhelmed with managing a large volume of cases, each of which feels like an ongoing fire to extinguish.

This incident occurred only three months into my role as a litigation practice group (PI defense) manager, and it came across as extremely rude and toxic. When I expressed similar feelings of being overwhelmed to my boss for the first time, they responded with the dismissive statement, “This is part of the job.” I am at a loss for how to address this situation.

Background in biology but been out of the area for 10+ years. Considering a two year husbandry program for exotic animals. Has anyone done something similar?
