I got a little too happy with the scissors and chopped off too much of this jacket (mostly forgetting that boobage will raise the lapels.) What do y'all think, what are some ideas to make it look more intentional?
I'm not sure which end, bottom or top, is the problem, but one of them needs to be adjusted slightly. I've only been using my secondhand machine for a few days (worked like a dream) and now she's breaking and bending needles left and right 😭 This is a Kenmore 4-Stitch 385

This is a perfect piece of dishware for the girlies who eat 2 entirely-unrelated food items per meal. Massive pile of honeydew and bacon that I cut with scissors to eat with chopsticks so I wouldn't have to touch it.
I have weird feet so need to take advantage of Amazon's return process, and don't have anywhere near me that sells them.
What are some good brands or tells to look for? I'd like them to be somewhat pretty but obviously would rather them support my feets above all.

But I think that "No Longer You" should be an uncomfortably-intimate waltz between Odysseus and the Prophet. Don't question it, just try to see my vision: this *is* an uncomfortably intimate song, it's incredibly raw and the Prophet is getting his mental handsies all over Odysseus's personhood.
Also, note: they go to the Underworld and there is no specific transition to Elysium, this is still a dark and frightening space, I'm imagining shadows of all the possible futures the Prophet sees dancing on the walls around them, mirroring the choreography. The prophet has been here for who knows how long, is probably a Really Weird Guy to begin with, if he doesn't have crazy eyes and "I'll smell your hair and tell you how you'll die" vibes I'll eat my corset. The two do a push-and-pull ballet with the Prophet holding the other uncomfortably, by the hair, pulling Odysseus's face back in a mocking imitation of a human dance move while a mirrored shadow-pair of Odysseus and Eurylochus tear at each other's throats on the walls. It's impossible to see what's actually happening, just as it's impossible to guess the Prophet's real intentions here- is the cryptic delivery of all of these prophecies meant to induce paranoia, is it because the prophet himself doesn't see clearly, is it the crazed and unpredictable ramblings of a man left alone with the threads of time?

also I think that in "My Goodbye," the drum beat after Odysseus screams "You're alone!" should be Athena punching him in the face. They should have a gorgeously-choreographed hand to hand fight because it's obvious that Athena is pulling her punches but also they're both supremely pissed off and hurt, and beat it out of each other with lots of delicate circling footwork as she wears him out throughout her exit in that song.
I threw the vegetables that were going bad (cucumber and tomatoes) on top of some rice and called it a day so I could get into bed with my cat even faster
TW medication misuse
I've been trying to do too much lately and keeping my energy up by taking extra of my ADHD meds (since I'm usually so bad at taking them that I had a lot stockpiled) and....accidentally overdosed and got ambulanced out of work. I'm still mortified. The good news is I have two days to rest at home. I *really* don't want to cook rn so please enjoy my snack plate of strawberry mochi, dates, candied pecans, banana chips, pretzel twists, and crispy fried onions!
My local ramen place just expanded their menu! I am a little sad because there was another girl there who had an awesome outfit and was laughing about a common interest, so I decided to be weird and give her my number (explicitly saying "love your style, common interest, we should be friends") and she even drew me a little giraffe saying "hello new friend!" that she gave me before leaving...but she hasn't texted me and also

Maybe this is just the autism, but I find it distracting when someone is trying so hard to show you that they're listening that they nod the whole time and make noise as you're talking.
I recently tried therapy again, and the guy seemed good, but the constant "uh-huh, uh-huh!"s as I was talking about hard stuff freaked me out.
This also sometimes happens with my boss, and others, so just in general, what do you tell yourself or how do you handle it when someone is so focused on good listening that it becomes...bad listening?
All of the overbust corsets I see are for very small busts (at least relative to me) but I am built like Jessica Rabbit and hate having my boobs smashed flat, they want to be on a shelf. I love the back support of corsets. My budget is $500 or less, and I just want a simple black corset like the one in the comments, but fitting my measurements a lot better.
In the USA, but obviously may need to pay for overseas shipping and that's okay.
I bought this as a beginner corset to see if I like it as a bra and back-support substitute, and HOLY GOD YES, I WANT THIS FOREVER. But it definitely doesn't fit my chest. Could I lay it out and draft a pattern from it, and adjust it for tig ole bitties?
I haven't been able to run lately and I'm sad. School is killing me and I feel like I'm juggling way too much, even writing this post is kind of stressing me out knowing how much homework I have to do before the work week starts.
Can you guys tell me about your proud happy running moments? The first time you ran a mile, how you feel like it's affected your capability in other activities, a really awesome great run you went on recently, anything really. I just want to live vicariously through y'all for a bit.
Anyone else have issues with this brand? I got a great vibe in person at a convention, waited a whole year to see them again to make sure I wanted to buy from them, and placed a $300+ order. I was under the impression that they made these corsets, and have since been told that they actually just draft the pattern and have them made at a warehouse overseas. So I'm a little less thrilled that I probably paid for unethical labor, but that's on me for not checking and to be fair they never claimed to make each one in-house.
The issue is mostly that they told me 8-10 weeks....13 weeks ago. And it still hasn't shipped to *them* from the warehouse yet. I have had to reach out so many times just to hear "brb I'm checking" and then they disappear again until I ask again that I'm almost convinced I just got straight-up scammed. But they are repeat vendors at this convention, and have great reviews online, so...am I crazy? Am I being a Karen? Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation, or maybe this is just how small business works? I don't expect Amazon shipping on a bespoke item but the lack of communication is freaking me out.
Adding dessert satisfies the subreddit requirement of gathering multiple items, but I think "slab of meat" fits the spirit of girl dinner all on its own 😂 it's finals week, I went on a run after smashing my finger with a metal bottle, I rewarded myself with way too much meat and made my tummy hurt.
Magnolia was surrendered with her 4 friends/siblings from a couple who were moving from a farm to a house in the city and didn't think she would make a good indoor cat. I can safely say that Mags seems perfectly okay with living in an apartment 😂 I'm sad that she got split up from her family, but it means that now I get to have her climbing into my arms whenever she can. She's the biggest snuggler I've ever seen and is an even more dedicated couch potato than I am.
She has 2 new siblings now, and spends most of her days gumming on my fingers and stretching out her toes on me to show off how long she is.
Edit: I don't mean to be harsh on the couple here, it's just sad that so many people think that they HAVE to give up their cat(s). I live in an area where a lot of ppl think that cats just cannot live indoors and the only option is to surrender their beloved pets, and can't be convinced otherwise.
I can't do all this trying-and-returning anymore with different international companies that have to go through customs and have different sizing scales. I'm just tired and my armpits hurt 😔 can y'all recommend some US bras that have notable immediate projection, preferably a balconette style? The calculator put me at a 40K, but I struggle the most with cup depth and my boobs either forcing the underwires down to my tummy or back into my armpits, sometimes both somehow.
