I hope this is the right place to post this. I spent years trying to find a series that I watched while in Tűrkiye on cable and I finally did. It is the series Seksenler but now i cannot find any website to watch it on. I should say i do not speak Turkish and i do not currently reside in Turkiye. I studied there for a year and thats how I discovered the show, so it would be helpful if the website could have translation.

I am unsure whether this is the correct subreddit to post this but I am reading my first "faglige" book and it is a book about global history, my head is translating to English as I go but I came to a section\concept that I cannot place within my knowledge of history in English. so I am looking for a translation of this phrase\concept "historiens lovmessighet" the definition according to the book is "Søken etter lovmessighet i historien hadde som hovedmål å forutse hvilken utvikling som ville og måtte komme." is it what is know as historical determinism, or a completely new concept that the book introduces?

TYPO IN THE TITTLE

Rewatching 23 e17 where Robin and Barney slept together and Ted finds out. So I feel that Ted was overreacting because why the heck would he be so upset even though he has a girlfriend (whom he begged to go out with him) and Barney apologized repeatedly even though Robin and Ted have been broken up for so long. I know Barney is a womanizer and a man whose amongst other things but he really was a good friend and this is shown repeatedly th4oughout the show even though the writers liked to paint him as the bad guy to elevate Ted's image.

I am starting classes in 5 days and I am determined to do better this semester. I will be studying history. My issue is that I have had several history classes before and while my essays in said classes were not terrible, I often felt as if I am writing an anthology, I also had similar responses from my professors in my English classes saying that I often match my theory to a passage or a point in my interpretation with little discussion as if I am doing a mix and match. Any help is appreciated even if you think it is the very basics.

PS: my writing here is not an indication of my level lol

I find myself becoming more and more depressed and riddled with anxiety, I suffered from anxiety that manifested in feelings of horror about things that threatens me or people around me and I always had to stop and do something but recently I cannot function normally and I dont procrastinating thing but thinking seriously that ending it is easier than sending a text or emailing my professor and it scares me and I dont know how to break the cycle I hype myself up for the tiniest of actions and once one is done I have thousands more that require the same. I noticed that my sleep schedule has become erratic as in I sleep for 18 hours on some days and 3 or 4 hours on the next . I am always restless and I have been eating way less. I am posting here to ask how can I manage this anxiety, how can I deal with this and just do things?

Hope its okay to post this here. I was looking for tips or examples on how to structure the presentation for a master's thesis defense. I found a lot of various templates but they are for scientific studies involving methods that are not a part of writing a literature thesis.

I had a short hair cut recently (curly pixie adjacent) and was tole to get a wax or pomade to tame the hair a little. I bought a mud wax! And I did not read much on it only to find that it made my hair extremely greasy feeling and I really did not like the texture is there any way that I can fix the wax to sort of fit my hair (mix it with some product) also is there a better option for my hair (curly, short medium porosity) should I apply the wax on wet or dry hair

Three years ago I went for an eye exam and after one round of which lens is clearer the optician recommended what I now know as a cycloplegic eye drops that blurred my vision during the exam allowing us to obtain a more accurate diagnosis. I am due for another exam and was going to book an appointment but I was wondering if I should ask for the drops again? Could I do that? Also I am 25 years old student with most of my time spent on screen or books even in my free time.

I was wondering whether its possible to check whether the henna is authentic. I have used henna lately called Merhaba, just something I saw in the store and bought but it gave very little color and also I noticed it did not bleed at all after I washed it, is this the mark of authentic henna or the opposite?

I prepared it with lemon juice and hot/to warm water and left it for 6 hours.

I was wondering whether there was a cheap hair dye alternatives in norway. I used to dye my own hair using Garnier or Schwarzkopf. I am looking for something with red shades, something that could perhaps be found in stores, and something that won't break my bank account.
