Hello I noticed a loud whine in my mic when recording video on my phone, how do you remove the loud whine? What caused it? I never noticed it before but i also don't record often, i have an Xperia 1 VI European edition. I need to record something for school and you can barely hear me over the noise, it sounds like it's underwater but then you can hear loud audio over it just fine, is my phone broken?
Just something I've noticed lately as an American who's spend their whole life in NJ, littering is so normalized nowadays. Like in the past week I have probably seen 20 cars throwing trash out their windows one of them was a bunch of trash that someone dumped out of their window from a shopping bag, all of them have been people doing it on the side of the road or while driving. Literally just dodged someone throwing a coffee cup out their window on the highway not 20 minutes ago, instead of hitting the cup I swerved and hit the ricochet from the ground, called the cops, watched them drive onto the bridge past cops, nobody cares except me I guess. Mind you I live in hillbilly farmingland and not a big city or anything, there's wildlife everywhere and woods everywhere. Why has littering become so normalized in America? Did I miss something over the past decade or so?

Got a blood test and my LDL was high and my HDL was low, he told me I have to go on a low cholesterol diet and get that down. Issue is I have absolutely no idea about any of that, I have diet restrictions on top of that such as no dairy, no seafood (stinks the house up), no deli meats/nitrate items, no pungent foods (eggs, peppers, raw garlic), no beans, no whey so protein is harder to get, and nothing super oily. What do I do here? I work out a lot and work a physical job so the diet needs to be fairly high in protein, and I need meals that are halfway easy to put together, I suck at cooking. Breakfast can be skipped, I don't eat breakfast.
My Nimbus 27 are super comfortable but i have over-pronation and have worn them out, what are some similar shoes that arent expensive that will work? I work on my feet all day, i tried shoes that Asics and New Balance sell for over-pronation and they were not comfortable at all, felt like walking on stone. I like shoes that are very cushioned at the bottom, i dont want like running shoes or tennis shoes specifically i like a chunky sole, im not an athlete, something like what i had that wont make my heels hurt. Also preferably under $80 in price, I cant be spending a lot on shoes, theyre just gonna get worn out in a few months anyway. I average 12-20 miles per day at work so shoes get used up pretty quick. Also must be available in wide I measure between a wide and true wide

I got a job as the assistant manager of a thrift store 4 months ago and have been very conflicted on what to do here. When I got the job there were very few rules, very lax, $2 over minimum wage, I got half off in the store and could buy anything I wanted, and worked from 8:30-3 but was paid from 8-3:30 just in case I had to stay overtime for any reason after store closing (never once had to).
Over the past few months my boss's boss that doesn't even run the place or do anything with it has been coming in and changing everything. First I lost my 50% off and it became 20% off, then I lost my ability to shop at the store unless something was there for 24 hours, then they changed the time card system so I have to actually work from 8-3:30 or else I lose my pay, then I was allowed to buy stuff before the 24 hours if I paid full price, then I wasn't allowed, then I was, then I wasn't, nobody can make up their mind. I let my parents know about an item we had that they have been in the market for and my boss just flipped out on me for it, I didn't even buy it, now my family cannot buy anything within the first 24 hours. Yet it's ok for my boss and my coworkers to take stuff home without paying for it and buy whatever they want whenever they want.
She hired me to replace her when she retires at the end of the year and I feel like she doesn't like me at all. Everyone is always so passive aggressive towards me and nobody wants to talk to me, it's miserable here, the customers love me though. I feel like she doesn't trust me at all, at first she was actually training me to do her job, now I do less than I did 2 months ago, get yelled at all the time for doing things how she wants me to, get yelled at for taking liberties to get stuff done, get yelled at for not being in 3 places at once. We do not see eye to eye on anything, she is running this place into the ground by not embracing the future in this business, everything is the same it was 15-20 years ago and there are so many things that could be changed to both make more money, move more stuff, and improve employee safety that I am ignored on and reprimanded for suggesting.
Then I had to clean up raw sewage from the bathroom a couple weeks ago because a toilet overflowed and flooded the store without PPE so we could open the store up. Grandfather used to be a safety inspector for an oil refinery and my mom is a nurse, when I told them they were furious and said how dangerous it was to do that without proper hazmat equipment. My mom told me to make a doctor's appointment just in case. Now I have to pay to get tests done since they're not medically necessary and I don't want to start more shit letting her know all my other coworkers need to get tested as well. She didnt think it was a big deal at all, I'm the problem as always for being rightfully scared of cleaning up shit from the apartments upstairs.
I run a small business on the side and make more doing that than I do at work, if I got my bosses job it would be like 70k a year but I don't think I'm gonna get it, I think the other part time manager here will get it. Ironically she's the only person I'm friends with at work and shares many of the same issues I have except she won't say anything. If I quit now she can go and train my replacement before she retires, if I wait I cause more damage and make more people mad.
So what do you guys think, should I quit my job?

Should I quit my job?
I've been subscribed to Pro for the last 6 years and always used the Pro coupon to buy PKMN CRDS in the store. Now I go in and the guy says I cannot use my $5 coupon in store anymore and they just made the change, what happened to cause this change? Will the be reverting it back anytime soon? At this might I'ma just cancel my pro, that's the dumbest change ever, I have no reason to go to the store aside from the coupon. I've had the routine of going in and getting me and my brothers packs using coupons for the last few years anytime im in the area, no point in him keeping it either
Hi, I am looking at getting the back glass on my 1VI repaired, I'm either going to buy glass and take it to a shop or try and do it myself. Is it especially hard to do on these models? If I take it to a shop I almost guarantee it's going to be the first and only Xperia 1 VI they do, will a shop even take it?
I sold a rare vintage Pokemon card at auction for a few hundred dollars and the buyer paid, its one thats included in the Authenticity Guarantee Program.
They won and paid for the card and are now claiming they did not notice "condition issues" and that "the scratching is way too bad and they didnt notice it prior to bidding" and want to cancel the order, but it says, "according to our policy, buyers can't cancel this item. If they request a cancellation, you may decline, and youre protected from negative feedback for that decision."
What do i do? Do i ship the card out? I waited for this item to sell for a full week at auction and they bid a few days ago and have been keeping the bid up, at the last minute to win the auction
Now i have to wait 1 more week for it to maybe sell for as much if i cancel, should i cancel it or decline their request and send it out?

I've had this older boombox with a bad tape player for sale on marketplace for a long time, I had it up for $50 a guy said all he had was $40 for it. I didn't really wanna sell it for $40 since I bought stuff to convert these to bluetooth, but I just told him I would do $40 if he could come today. We agreed to meet at 7 earlier, I messaged him at 6:55 that I'm headed down to the police station and I would see him there in a few minutes. "Oh I did not realize you are 1 hour, you wait for me I'm on my way." I ask where he's coming from and he's only coming from a town like slightly over a half hour away from me, direct shot down the interstate and not at all an hour away.
At this point I'm already annoyed, I was gonna go out to eat with my family and instead we opted to stay home so I could sell this boombox to him. An hour comes and goes, I eat dinner, I take a quick catnap for like a half hour, I shoot him a message and ask if he is still coming since I woke up and didn't see a message, it is 8:30 now mind you, nice and almost dark out, I hate selling stuff when it's dark out since the buyers cannot properly inspect their items.

I shit you not he literally went into the other compartment of his wallet and magically found a $2 bill to make $40, "oh I really don't want to spend this." "Then you should have brought 2 more dollars, you made an offer and agreed to bring me a certain amount of money that was lower than I was asking, wasted my time, and then acted like you came up short, that's so disrespectful towards me." Idk why I even attempt to deal with these people making offers like this, I don't think $40 was an unfair offer at all, but the nerve to make an offer, dilly dally all evening till it's pitch black and spitting rain, then act like you don't have as much as we agreed upon is nutso. I can't believe people like this actually exist, like you read all the posts here about people being rude inconsiderate dickheads and showing up with less than what's agreed upon, I've sold hundreds of items and never had it happen until tonight. Hi, I have owned my ebike for around 6 years now and in NJ they'll need to be registered and insured in July. My bike is a homebuilt conversion with a 1000 watt motor, tops out at like 25-28mph on flat ground using the throttle in the optimal gear, if you set it to the long gear it will stretch to like 30mph. I'm kinda lost on what to do here, it's got no VIN, no paperwork, no receipt, Chinese parts, nothing I can use to get insurance since there's no make/model, I'm kinda confused on what the process of registering and insuring the bike will be. I asked this question a few months ago and people just said to wait, so now I'm asking again since I waited like 4 months, what do I need to do to make it legal? Or is it just gonna have to get thrown away? I don't wanna get a ticket or get it impounded for lack of registration
Edit; even if it did get impounded how would you get it out? There's no documents to prove it's yours and have a yard release it, yet you'll still get charged storage right? Is it just an infinite loop of getting charged storage fees? That makes absolutely 0 sense to me.
I was told by financial aid when i took my first term that I could use grants on the second, now they're saying i have no grants to use and I'm expected to pay in 3 days or i get a financial withdraw. What do I do? I don't have the money to pay right now, I need that money to live, money is very tight and I cannot afford an extra thousand a month in payments and definitely cannot afford 4k to be spent right now.
