Bubbleglam is a return to bubblegum pop and kitschy glam looks with a dash of classic 90s cynicism. The movement was influenced by Club Kids, the kitschy resurgence of 1970s glam rock, and drag fashion from the mid-late 1990s. Excessive makeup, fur or faux fur in vibrant hues, bubbles, vivid colors and hues overall, miniskirts, baby doll dresses, velvet, silk, plush, colorful interior design, occasionally incorporating kitschy patterns like animal prints, and "high school vernacular" attire were all featured.

Candy Sleaze, also known as Heisei Twee, is a music-based fashion, design aesthetic from the mid-2020s drawing inspiration from the Harajuku, Pop Kei, and Heisei culture that is centered around the early 2000s-2010s internet hipster revival, Candycore or 2014 Girly retro elements, and the "Indie Sleaze" reminiscence, featuring contrasting colors (primarily the contrast between blue, pink, and yellow), clashing, and sometimes bright patterns that involve various patterns (ex. polka dots, checkers, stripes). It encapsulates the reinterpretation of the Heisei Retro aesthetic that can be often mixed with hallmarks of 2000s culture, where the aesthetic often focuses on kitschy, meme-based culture in the 2010s (such as Nyan Cat and galaxy prints), preceding mixed color palettes, music-themed elements (musical notes and a piano), as well as layered accessories, and a few key fashion trends such as patterns, high heels with knee-high socks and brightly colored makeup and wigs.

It also diffuses classic technology or iPod/MP3 player replications, and retro-modern graphic zine designs to create a fresh, gritty and yet nostalgic sense related to the 2000s/2010s girly internet iconography.

The whole style and fashion varies on whether the style is often focused on bright childhood reinterpretation or the Indie Sleaze vibe, whose style was referenced to the f5ve's "I Choose You" music video in May 2025, along with pioneered music artists such as Tommy February6 that originally focuses on Candy Sleaze elements where various users began to draw inspiration from the 2010s internet aesthetic, focusing on flat typography, the galaxy print hallmark, kawaii, kitschy/retro elements and aforementioned early-to-mid-2010s staples.

Various users who participate on this aesthetic utilize apps such as PicsArt and Fragrantica, where they match pictures based on how they would smell, visually look like and image edits (overlapping with Vectordelia and Vector Música) where images of people, characters and/or objects are intentionally distorted (most commonly by stretching the image's main focal point), drawing inspiration from the Indie Sleaze 2000s edit culture "Blingee Revival", also known as "Nu-Blingee".

The style relies on Kawaii culture with a twist of sweetness and an edgy, simplified and exaggerated-sterile vibe. It can be linked through nostalgia, such as toys, decorative "DIY Culture" items, and the music based on 2000s/2010s internet/pop culture as a hallmark.

Earthy Southwestern is a design aesthetic, emerging in the late 80s through the early 2000s, that refers to a historically grounded, deeply curated, visual subculture related to the indigenous-based elements, rather than leaning into cartoonish, mass-produced "Wild West" kitsch, where its niche style leans on the earth-toned, tactile, hand-crafted take on Southwestern motifs, raw combination of Spanish colonial architecture, and the 20th-century artistic movements such as the works of Georgia O'Keeffe and Indigenous modernism, replacing the geometric-pomo, pastels and a clean or sterile style in the mid-1980s, into a touch of authentic cultural influence.

Dangowave, also known as Tech Dango, is an aesthetic that emerged in East Asia in the early 2020s, centering around colors that pair with soft/light green, white, and pink, related to a Japanese dessert.

Its main focus is the minimalist feeling of technological devices, natural components (blossoms, lilies, and leaves), instant snacks (such as Ramune and Pocky), toys, and anything related to a soft, pastel colored appearance.
