Phone scanned?

This has happened twice already. As I was using Maxfield, it seems like it attempts to get a virus on my phone. I would understand if this was my computer my McAfee virus has showed up on it, and it has been blocked by my computer… but why is it appearing on my phone?

(USA) failed the RGR, now what?

This is something that I wanted to post for months and only now am I finally doing it. About a month and a half ago to two months ago, we had our RGR. And we ended up three points short of a passing score, for cleanliness and customer service. So we have to do a retake.

They told us that this retake would take anywhere between three months in the future to nine months in the future. And they won’t tell us this time when they were going to come in, they’re just gonna show up for it. I am concerned about that because obviously, when they showed up for the RGR for the first time, they had a date that we would have to prepare for it. But if we failed, and we thought we were prepared for it, then I am scared on them just showing up and giving us a worse grade. and I don’t know what the consequences of an RGR is, but I doubt it will be anything good.

It’s not really a question, but I would just like advice and positivity if possible

(USA) how do I fix my feet?

I’ve been working at this McDonald’s for a year, maybe. After a while, the top of my toes look horrendous. They are dry and they flake and they itch so bad. I think it’s from when my first pair of shoes would get oil and the oil would get rubbed with my socks against the top of my feet. Since then, I have gotten steel shoes. But these oil things aren’t going away. And just when I think they are healing, they itch so bad at night against my blankets unconsciously.

(USA) my boss just told me that my chosen name is a nickname, and that my dead name is still my real name

I am a pre-op trans woman, starting HRT tomorrow. I put a label maker over my old name and replaced it with my new name.

A few minutes ago, a previous worker and friend of mine came in into McDonald’s to eat. He referred to me by my dead name and I said “actually, I go by this now“ and held up my name tag proudly… only to be informed by management that I cannot give my chosen name to people. My manager told me that one of the higher-ups told her that my chosen name is considered a nickname until it is legal, and I cannot “force” workers or customers to use my name.

I have no problem with my workers using my name, because I started working for them prior to my transition, so I introduced them as one name they get to have the right to keep using it. Customers? My name tag says one name, and I can’t say it.

Before and after of cleaning the ice cream machine (USA)

The little trey thing where the ice cream poured out to. I took scissors and stabbed that sucker out. I feel so accomplished, it must’ve been months or years of build up. I know it is disgusting, but at the same time, I feel proud I took out that chunk.

I’m a cosmetology student, AMA

I completely forgot I knew this about myself. I started classes about two years ago at a trade school, but I quickly fell behind and left. But I’m enrolled in it again, and so far so good. I plan on becoming a beautician. And I am on track to be finished by two or three years.

Building the Archimandrite, using the Bumbleflower and Zinnia precons, how would you build the mana base?

I saw the Archimandrite and without really reading the card, I said, “this is a really interesting card”… it is now the first deck that I am building for myself. I have the Zinnia and Bumbleflower precons, which I am using to build the mana base. But as this is my first brew, I have no clue where to begin with building a base, let alone three colored one. It’s gonna be a free deck, all the cards for it will be from bulk and trading from other people, so I don’t have any other plans for how to build it.

What do breast implants feel like inside your skin?

After a while, do you get used to the feeling? Does it just feel like a plastic mass that your tissue is wrapped around? I watch shows with these gorgeous trans Women, some of them having their breast done. And my only thought the entire time is what does it feel like to have implants?

How do you get back to the craft? And write a new BOS?

Hello. I have been practicing for seven years, but about a year and a half ago, something happened that caused me to stop practicing witchcraft. Now, here I am wanting to practice again. I really feel disconnected, so I wanted to start practicing over. And I wanted to start doing it a more consistent, better way.

I have been having issues with this, mostly the fact that I am not a beginner witch. So the basics, things like the moon phases, cleansing, that kind of stuff, that stuff that I already feel like I have a understanding of from my first time practicing. I just feel like I’m a little past needing to write that kind of stuff.

But so much information is that stuff. I found myself in a place where when I write my BOS, I end up writing a few pages of the basics, then I am dissatisfied with it and end up discarding the book. I just don’t know how to write my BOS anymore. Because I am in a weird spot where I feel like I don’t need to rewrite everything, but I also feel like I should. And that kind of “I know you are, but what am I” back-and-forth is preventing me from making progress in actually practicing.

And just in general, that’s what’s been happening. Because I feel very disconnected. I feel like every time I try to practice, I’m not doing it right, because I’m comparing it to my first go around where I was more confident and more active.

TLDR: if anybody has had to restart their practice, how did you go about doing it?

I just did my first show! I just wanna tell somebody about it.

I am aware of how I look.

I got to do my first ever drag show for charity. I got to go out as Lybra. In this event, there were two song choices. One was to be themed around what pride means to you, and the other one was whatever song you want. I performed, for my pride number, scars to your beautiful. And for the song of my choice, I choose the real Ludmilla. Very fun song.

I can’t describe the feeling. Well, my feet could certainly describe it. It hurt my feet. Several pairs of tights and narrow toed shoes hurt.

But I had fun for the first time in a long time. And my brother won the charity competition! I could not be more proud of him!

I cannot wait till I get to do drag again. Now, if only I could learn how to put on eyelashes.

Things that I’d like to have fixed in my store. (USA)

I know this is me being idyllic and unrealistic. This is a lighthearted post that I know I can’t change. Feel free to tell me the stuff that you wish you could change about your store. These are unrealistic expectations, so this is a fun post.

1: new automatic drink dispenser for the drive-thru. It grabs about three or 4 cups in one time, which causes it to not pass through to the ice and drink dispenser part. Additionally, it doesn’t seem to register “light ice“ as it seems to pour the most ice when it says that.

2: working headsets. I’m talking no static, crystal clear audio, and longer lasting batteries. No “out of range” or “incompatible equipment”.

3: no more register delays. The registers that we have now delay up to 20 seconds when you punch something in. They just freeze up so much.

4: crew codes. I wish that we had codes for the registers that the crew could use. It would be like the manager codes, but it would not have as many features. It’s really hard when you can’t remove anything over two dollars without a fingerprint or a code. As I said, the registers are slow. During the middle of rush, it’s hard to finish an order without messing something up and then we’d have to trouble a manager just to remove something.

5: completely remake the mobile app. Part of it has to do with our own Wi-Fi being the issue. But there are so many people who use the mobile app, and either don’t know how to use it the way they want to use it, or the mobile app itself freaks out on people.

6: Wi-Fi extenders. Please. On my break, I have to drive out to Walmart to have better signal. I don’t get any text messages in the store, and I don’t get any phone calls. Imagine there’s a family emergency for anybody, if they aren’t notified until their eight hour shift is over.

7: hiring younger people. For the love of all that is good. It’s important to have job experience, but it seems like a lot of younger people don’t do their job. Especially night shift. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of young people have great energy and a lot of young people do their job really well. But the ones that I have in my store at least, they don’t stock, they don’t clean, they don’t do their secondary… they really just wanna show up and leave.

8: a larger parking lot. We are getting to the point where our McDonald’s just does not have enough space or vehicles. A lot of McDonald’s get cars that are all the way out into the road. Our McDonald’s has a section of land that I think if we got permission to open one more row of parking spots, it would save us a lot of trouble.

My 2005 Jeep grand Cherokee is no longer letting me connect to CarPlay

It just stopped connecting about 2 1/2 months ago. I have been unable to figure out how to reconnect it. I even factory reset my vehicle twice. It used to show all the apps, but now it doesn’t. I am unable to find any troubleshooting videos on my 2005 grand Cherokee, would anybody be able to help me in the right direction?

I just played my first game.

Yesterday was my first time playing DND ever. I have a lovely character named Tippy who is a Tiefling Druid of spores. However, I’m concerned about being new still.

Everybody was super nice and friendly, and they were willing to help me as much as they could. But I haven’t given my character a backstory much. I haven’t given her much of a personality. She spent several years abandoned on an island with magical vegetation, and she has become used to the powerful spores around her. But other than that… not a clue. And everybody was trying to get me to tell them more about the island, but as I was brand new to the game, I didn’t know how much I was allowed to say. It’s the DM job to world build, I don’t wanna take control over it.

I’m finding it hard too understand where we are in the story. This campaign apparently has been going on for about a year now, every Tuesday on the dot. There’s a lot of world building that I wasn’t a part of. Also, I’m finding it hard to see people as their character. i’m finding it hard to recognize “oh, these two people are playing Dragonic royalty and over there is a rabbit and there is another Tiefling.” when they all just look like people. And I also find it a struggle to differentiate some players from when they’re talking in the game or when they’re talking out of it. I can’t tell if somebody speaking as their character or speaking out of context.

Don’t give me wrong, I had a lot of fun. But if anybody could weigh in and give me advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, my stats liked dexterity and stealth, are those able to increase or are they fixed? Just so that way I know if I should write it in pen or pencil.

I created a prayer to start off the summer (USA)

O Mighty McDonald’s Gods,

We come before thee on this busiest of seasons,
Humbly seeking thy blessings.

May the ice cream machine remain operational,
Against all known laws of nature.

May the fry timers sing their sacred songs,
And may no basket be forgotten.

Grant us the speed of the Drive-Thru Wind,
The patience of a saint dealing with coupon disputes,
And the wisdom to find the missing nuggets before the customer does.

Protect us from endless special orders:
“No pickles, extra pickles, add pickles, but not those pickles.”

Shield us from card readers that mysteriously stop working,
And from customers who say,
“I have a really simple order,”
Then proceed to order for seventeen people.

Bless our headsets,
That we may understand what was actually said.

Bless our coffee,
For without it, we are but sleepy mortals.

And when the lunch rush descends upon us like an angry flock of seagulls,
Grant that our fries be plentiful,
Our drinks be correct,
Our tempers be calm,
And our labor percentage be ever in our favor.

In the names of Burger, Fry, and Holy McFlurry,

(USA) please consider signing a petition for our self-serving station to stay.

I apologize if this isn’t allowed, but my McDonald’s is removing our self-serve drink station. While I understand why, so many people ask for extra napkins or drinks, and it’s creating more problems than necessary. Please consider signing, I’d like at least 50 signatures.

Looking for collabs on my decklist and making a primer.

I am very new to brewing, but it certainly could use refinement. Mainly I would like help with what Gods to take out and what to substitute them with, as most were throw-ins to make 99. And also, I’m looking for more experienced people who made primers, as I have no clue on how to make a decent one.

What are your favorite cards to play with in Wick the Whorled Mind?

I got my brother to play rat colony as his first deck, proxy , the whole thing and everything. he loves it, and he’s definitely going to build it, despite it being pretty expensive right now. I really like rats too, but after the price increase since the past year, I wanna look at a cheaper alternative. So I bought wick, and now I’m not sure how to build it.
