Constructive feedback? Book cover for solo RPG gamebook set in Irish myth & folklore
Hello everyone. Do you have any constructive feedback for this book cover?
I am getting ready to self-publish a solo roleplaying gamebook set in Irish myth & folklore, "Tests of the Fíanna*"* (Fíanna is an Irish word that means 'warband', pronounced "FEE'an'ah"). "The Fíanna is a specific warband from Irish myth. The scene on the cover is one of the tests to join this warband. I'm generally happy with this cover but I am struggling esp. with the text at the bottom. I want a full sized image and to show the fellow running/leaping over a log, which is part of my struggle re. the cover. I've also added the back cover though I am more happy with this one.
Note: I commissioned an artist to create the illustration for the cover so this is a must have for me.
Here's some context in case in matters: Tests of the Fíanna (IE-00) is a scripted solitaire adventure gamebook. The setting is ancient Ireland with its mythic creatures and folklore, esp. the stories of the Fíanna Cycle. It is compatible with the role playing game Tunnels & Trolls. This adventure is part of the Inis Ealga series of gamebooks (2 exist (IE-01, IE-02), another in development (IE-03)).
Thanks very much and have a wonderful day.
