so whether you get your Roms yourself or get it online, would transferring those copies across the internet no matter the distance cause you problems? I know generally you wanna use a VPN but if I’m setting up a new phone ima gonna wanna mirror it so it’s an exact copy to my current phone set up (for ease)

I know each piece of media has a code thata used to identify what it is but I’m not sure if DS or GBA came with those codes at that point.

I also understand most companies don’t really care about ancient game piracy so maybe I’m stressing too much, but I am curious to know.

for context this is with Renegade platinum

I wanted to use aggron so bad, but while he might be able to be compatible in a normal play through he is being one shotted way to often with earthquake and fighting moves in renegade. and I know how prevalent those are in the elite 4.

i have two options, find a way to make him better (already EV trained, his defense stats are gargantuan, over 200 at lvl 50) or swap him out.

first let’s talk about swapping him out, the options are garchomp, tyranitar, or Metagross.

i know tyranitar has similar issues as Aggron does but handles them a bit better. i have gardevoir to cover psychic so Meta gross might be a bit redundant. leaving perhaps the best option being garchomp cause it has the earth coverage i am looking for.

but what is your thoughts?

alternatively I can seek ways of improving him, I was thinking a focus band to ensure he doesn’t get one hit in those circumstances and then he can use his stab take out his opponent but what else would you guys suggest.

and no don’t suggest any other pokemon besides those three, there is a reason I selected them

edit: cause Reddit is Reddit ima add this here in hopes it stays up, this is a question post asking for advice in the game on how to make it harder.

so I’ve always wanted to do a hardcore challenge in wow, single death means delete character, but also how would I stop mmyself from making it too easy. my goal is to complete every zone, every quest till I die or can’t go on (don’t own midnight)

i also plan on limiting my level and originally I decided I wanted to do 1 lvl up per zone but realized since the zones match your level to a certain amount it might be better to let it hit that level before locking yourself out till you hit a zone with a level increase.

also to further make it harder I will only tie my hearthstone to stormwind and only use it to quickly get back there and lock or unlock my exp. otherwise there will be no hearthing, no flying mounts, no using vendor mounts.

Also i finally decided to go with Hunter cause its limited healing wouldnt make it too easy, plus fetch and play dead is just cool not to mention I don’t have a lot of experience with it besides end game as of late so it will be fresh. also if my pet dies, it’s gone forever.

but im also wondering on how ill handle gear. should i limit myself to only greys and whites? should greens not be allowed? what about blues and purples? would allowing any of those make it too easy?

also there with be no enchanting or gems allowed (not that I use them anyways)

lastly though, how will I handle raids and dungeons? wait till I get a party of same levels to do the dungeons? What about if we wipe? get trolled? I think raids are a lost cause at this point unless I try to solo it at a higher lvl.

thoughts on all this? I know it’s kinda rambley
