When we signed up two years ago, we were put on a program called Go5G-55. We were told it was for seniors and that the price would remain as long as we were with the company.

Our first bill was higher than we were quoted, and no one would change it no matter what. Due to issues recently with local systems, we lost nearly a full week of use. Tech-support said that we should see something on our bill, but not only was our bill higher than in previous months, there was no offset. This last week we then receive a notice that our Internet is going up by six bucks.

We will probably stay with the company for a while longer, but this kind of treatment is not acceptable.

I am designing a worktable for my basement (basement is unfinished)

I'm trying to decide on what to use on top of the table, OSB sheathing because it's cheap, or MDF. The top and one shelf below will be made of the same material with 2x4 edge support. Legs also 2x4. I'm hoping to secure the top from below.

I have a similar set of shelves across the basement made using OSB, but I'm concerned about how rough the OSB may be in the long run. Shelves, ok, but a worktable may need something smoother.

What's your take?

It feels like so many People are insisting on WhatsApp. Yet, most of them, on the surface, feel like a scam. Just had one person “connect with me” from a Facebook post, and then insist I get WhatsApp. A day later she messages me that her FB account had been hacked and to ONLY connect via WhatsApp. Feels like a scam…

Honestly, I don’t understand WhatsApp. It feels like just another messaging system that puts you behind a fake phone number instead of a handle. So please tell me about this app and whether or not I really need it.

Hi. I am a collector of Magic Mugs. They are so named because of a special ink that turns clear when heated.

Recently, I picked up this mug. BUT, admittedly, I am a noob when it comes to knowing the characters. Can someone tell me who these two are? I know that the one on the left is Usagi Tsukino / Sailor Moon but I can't find anything on the character to the right.

My wife and I are eating keto and have been for a couple of years now. I still need to lose about 25 more lbs... BUT a recent visit to the Dr. found a borderline high Cholesterol. We're now trying to cut back on fat of all things.

We had been having the Keto Frosty* treat 3-4 times a week but it uses a whole cup of Heavy Cream. We found this thing called the Ninja Creami and just got it in, but now are having a difficult time finding recipes that don't use so much fat.

Has anyone gone this route? Anyone have any good recipes?

5 Cups of Crushed ice
1 Cup Heavy Cream
2/3 Cup Non Sugar Sweetener
2-3 Tbl Coco
3 Tsp Vanilla

Serves two...but could be smaller portions (LOL)

Bought the house new in 2019 and am pretty sure this is a “builder’s grade” flush valve. One of them has an intermittent problem where it will not drop the float to refill. Move it a bit and it will work for another week or two.

Is this a known issue with these? Should I go ahead and replace it now rather than waiting until it fails completely - if ever…

I posted this over at r/Lawnmowers and have received no response yet, so I'm reaching out to other areas where someone may have some expertise. Here is the post.

I have a Riding Mower (Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro 46in with the 22hp engine.) Purchased new in 2019. I also have an AC unit on the side of the house, also new in 2019.

The AC unit is up high enough that I can cut under it if I lean over as the mower goes under. That is not the problem.

The problem is that when the engine goes under the AC, it begins to stop, like the battery has quit or something. Usually I am moving fast enough to get the engine going again as I get past this.

The engine runs well, has a new battery about 1 yr old, but will idle well without my foot on the pedal. I’ve checked this issue with my foot pressing the gas and without to no diff.

Is this normal? Is there a problem with my mower? Or my AC?
