It doesn't matter what type of government you have

When it is corrupt.

& Power & authority have & will always corrupt.

Corrupt communism is slavery.

Corrupt capitalism is slavery.

Corrupt socialism is slavery.

If you believe you need Daddy Warbucks to pick fights for you, lose those fights, and sneak around the world setting fires using your cash as kindling, I must ask, how is that working for you?

If you feel that reasonable steps could be taken to create a more just society, you're right....

But

Nothing good lasts forever, especially when people are involved... And money... And power...

The only utopia that is in any way possible, is the one we create when centralized power structures cease to exist. No money, militaries, monolithic corporations, and no governments.

People who do wrong will be dealt with (as per the severity of their crimes, so too is the severity of justice they can anticipate). We do not need laws or law enforcement. Morality, when fully developed, transcends the law's limited capacity for nuance anyway. Substituting morality with laws that are ever increasingly unjust, is how you end up with less than 1% of rapes resulting in a felony conviction - essentially making rape legal for everyone except the really stupid and those who want to be caught (and Americans still act as if drugs are the problem. Literally actively cheering on and supporting demons devouring humankind and blaming the people with the least impact on society for the chaos those demons create at the top.)

Trickle down does work!! >>The shit rolls downhill!!

The law has been weaponized against the very people it claims to protect and serve. > This is true with any corrupt government. capitalist or communist. The goal is ALWAYS for an ever diminishing few to reap maximum rewards from the exploitation of an ever growing underclass with an ever diminishing quality of life, standard if living, life expectancy, education, infrastructure, and ultimately, profitability. As the potential for profit and exploitation diminishes, as does the number of people profiting, until there's no longer anyone willing to protect those few taking the rewards, and that's how it always goes.

If the players and the game are all the same, why do so many believe that it's their turn to win??

Communism is not the hippie utopia so many today declare it to be. Just look at history for a more realistic idea of how communism plays out.

I honestly find it hard to believe that so many people can be so ignorant and still so opinionated, at the same time... but here we are. genZ and AlphaKidz championing communism as if it has ever worked the way they think it should, literally ever. As if the term "Holodomor" means nothing to them.

It's one thing to have a culture where people understand that they do not exist in a vacuum and therefore do all they can to be of service to others.. that's called raising decent human beings to be decent human beings. It's quite another to organize a centralized authority to create a framework for how each person should live and to force compliance upon them regardless whether the framework is any good in any way at all for anyone, or if it will literally end all life on earth (skynet is what they're blindly, eagerly, and collectively supporting and cheering for)

The purpose of all governments and political systems is to rob everybody like the neighborhood gangsters taxing businesses and individuals alike for "protection".... Protection, from them (& in more ways than one)..... It's literally the exact same thing.

What is a government but the top cartel in town- at any given time in any given place? Yet idiots still line up to keep the charade going by filling out their citizen satisfaction survey every 2 or 4 years. Proudly wearing their"I voted" sticker, which really should say "idiot". Still blissfully? Unaware of the FACT that their vote goes straight into the trash because our votes matter only to the person who submitted theirs, and to nobody else.

Why on earth would anyone ever want any of the deranged lunatics who comprise the modern day's ruling elite to ever represent them in any capacity? Even more confusing, is why does anyone believe they even could? They are literally incapable of such an endeavor and wholly uninterested in even trying.

Michael Jackson told us all; they don't care about us.

Actions speak louder than words. But the modern american is so charmed by hearing the words they want to hear, that they'll ignore all of history and every broken promise, just to hear some more.

Power corrupts. It's time to stop believing that people who compete for power, can ever be virtuous or act with integrity to represent interests other than enriching themselves at our expense.

If you believe that you are incapable of handling your own affairs and need a representative to act in your best interest, then maybe you should not be making decisions that impact the lives of everyone else.

Is Suicide The Answer?

The Bible tells us that this world is evil and it's the devil's playground. We're warned to reject the impulse to give in to worldly pleasures and desires of the flesh. Jesus says that he wants nothing to do with anyone who has any appreciation for anything or anyone here, which makes sense -this is hell. As such, should we not want out? And if we know death is the way out, should we not reject this world and opt-out?

I'm asking purely out of philosophical and theological curiosity, not for any other reason. Just a hypothetical for analysis.

I Have Come To Realize That Many/Most People Collecting A Corporate Salary, Do Absolutely Nothing

Before you tar and feather me, hear me out. I have a unique perspective in that my childhood was sacrificed for the professional success of my parents' small business. I worked for free doing anything and everything I could to help start a company from an idea and an opportunity, as well as everything along the way to its sale for >$10mil in a decade. No, I do not claim that success as my own, that would be ridiculous. What I am saying is that I saw firsthand what it takes to operate a successful company.

That said, once the adopted kids aka free labor fled the nest, is when the business sold. Perhaps it was out of spite, or maybe because my parents only cared about their own future and finances, but not about the children they adopted (no doubt for less than altruistic reasons), my newfound freedom came with the harsh reality of inescapable poverty. I was told that I could not qualify for financial aid to enroll in college, and was resigned to entry level positions with no hope for advancement.

I am capable, competent, and absolutely nobody cares nor will they ever. This has lead to many a sleepless night in which I ask myself the big questions, "is this what life is all about?" , "work until I die?!", "this is it? This is my life now?", "will I ever be able to afford a vacation?", "scratch vacation, am I going to be paying somebody else's mortgage my whole life?!" And "how many days until I'm on the street because I've been priced out of shelter?!" You know, the typical existential crisis of full blown impoverished adulthood.

Everyday I read posts from people who are having issues at work and expressing the utter incompetence of their superiors. I also have one friend who works for a national corporation and his bosses are begging for (another) lawsuit for their inability to do the bare minimum in adhering to federal labor laws. I consider my corporate jobs, and it all just clicked.

Almost everyone in the corporate world is trying to find a way to benefit from labor, effort, talent, skills, and desperation of others. Not only that, but more so than the individuals who actually do the work. The university system exists solely to facilitate this mass exploitation by reinforcing an unofficial caste system in which the poor remain the beasts of burden for the managerial class and executive elites. The only qualification one needs in order to collect a comfy salary, is a degree. They do not need to know anything because they will likely not be doing anything of any substantial significance. In fact, when they do attempt to do a job, they almost always fuck shit up.

For example, my friend from earlier, at his company there are maybe 7 levels of people above him, and not one of these idiots can figure out how to avoid a lawsuit... Despite the company already having been through more than one lawsuit already for the very same shit they are still doing. Why are these guys collecting a salary? They literally do nothing and couldn't if they tried!

It's like this everywhere! In reality, the people at the bottom, those whose shoulders everyone else sits upon, deserve to be paid more than the morons who are about to get their company shut down for egregious and obvious labor violations. Yet here we are, corporations feel that their worker bees are too stupid to realize that the people above them, making more than them, deserve none of benefits, vacation, company vehicles, sick pay, or any of the other blessings bestowed upon them by the corporate fairy of undue rewards and unjust policies.

I think about the corporate hierarchy and how many levels there are in that hell. And just considering what a company produces and what goes in to their full production process, and it's beyond obvious that at least 75% of corporate salaried positions are redundant or unnecessary. They serve no purpose except to make the company appear more valuable/successful/attractive.

Here's an idea for any corporation struggling to please shareholders.... TRIM THE FAT! (that includes paying the executives who thought all those people below them were necessary, less!)

Never forget who really matters to a corporation. McDonalds can go on just fine without a Chief Restaurant Redevelopment Officer or a Chief Customer Experience Officer or even a Vice President of International Marketing, but even McDonald's would cease to exist if not for the men and women who show up every damn day to make the damn food and serve it with a smile.

Okay, my rant is complete.

Americans: Who's Down To Form A Citizens' Commission To End Corruption?

It's up to us.

Nobody else can fix this.

Only a united front of everyday Americans willing to investigate and get the job done. Politicians are all in the same side. Theirs.

Why don't we have a side? Divide and consider. A silent populace is a complicit public. If we do nothing, we will get what greedy misanthropes have in store. You owe it to your children and their children to do what must be done.

Fight against the private interests of bank backed lobbyists and corporate cronies. Stand against the efforts to force us to subscribe to surveillance systems logging our every thought.

Your votes do not count.

Do something that does.

Who's with me?!

I'm Tired Of Being Poor

It costs a lot to be poor. Everything is more expensive and every time you exhale somebody's found a new way to rip you off. What's worse, is that despite the fact that everyone claims to believe in equality, they still have no issues with treating the poor like trash. People who have never faced true adversity in their lives are out here judging people who were born in foster care, brought up in indentured servitude, trafficked, abused and left for dead because the latter hasn't found a way to make $80,000 annually.

It gets even worse though..

You may have noticed that people with insight into certain issues, whose testimony could reveal secrets that powerful people do not want revealed, tend to disappear. Five people close to be personally, have died in suspicious suicides. Even when responding officers stated COD was not suicide, no investigations were launched as the final determination wasn't theirs to make.

Since then I've been confronted with the reality that I will always be poor, my life will always be full of suffering. No matter how hard I work or what I do to try to get ahead, there will always be somebody waiting to knock me back down or take me out.

The only way I could protect myself, would be to not be poor.. too bad that's not possible.

What Happens When Companies Stop Being Profitable? Do Shareholders Just Jump Ship?

Public companies are always chasing profits, we know this. It's not always possible to be profitable, however. So when there profits dry up, is it an automatic death sentence? Or how does it work?

What brought this to my mind is seeing how many retailers and grocery stores have disappeared and how little variety and competition there now is in the US' "free market". When household names vanish, diminishing ROI for shareholders seems to always be the reason why.

If shareholders are so vested in the profitability of companies, why do they not do more to ensure their survival and continued prosperity?

I understand if these are stupid questions and I'll get lost if you tell me to...

"Package Returned To Hub For Inspection"

Since 5:45 this morning I've been waiting for a package which said it was out for delivery. I was even given the name of the driver/delivery person. Then at approximately 3:33pm I checked the tracking number again, and it now says "delivery exception" that the package was returned for "inspection".

I ordered shoes, from Texas. I am in Colorado. All that I did in the meantime was sign up for updates, but the email I used is under an obviously fake name. Did this prompt FedEx to take my package back? WTH is going on?

I tried calling support, but I cannot get ahold of anyone. When I enter my tracking number, it says that there is no info they can give me and hangs up. When I refuse to enter a tracking number it refuses to help and hangs up.

This is so dystopian and genuinely atrocious customer support. I will not be ordering anything using FedEx as the delivery service again.

Times are tough financially for a lot of us right now. When I had no other options, I jumped at the chance to take the spare bedroom in an acquaintance's 2 bed apartment. He said it was just him and his lady and that they'd been together 20 years, so no need to worry about drama.

What he omitted to mention was the fact that they are both super spiteful passive aggressive assholes who steal anything I leave unattended, including going into my room to take absolutely whatever they can get their hands on.

He also failed to mention that they absolutely, under no circumstances, will buy toilet paper, dish soap, dish washer detergent, laundry soap, fabric softener, magic erasers, paper towels, salt, pepper, seasoned salt, or anything at all that may be used by anyone other than the them. When I moved in, they had gas station napkins in the bathroom and no cleaning products. They were using dollar store buddy wash to wash everything. Everything.

Being generous, I thought I'd buy the things that were needed for the house.... Big mistake. I first started with a small bottle of dawn, 2 paper towels and 4 toilet rolls. All were GONE within 24 hours. I assumed that maybe it had been a long time since they could really clean things, so I went out and got the same 2 days later. This time it took maybe 4 days for everything to disappear. Irritated, I went and got Sam's Club gallons of soap to make a point.... 2 gallons of soap were gone within 2 months. A gallon of soap every month. Oh. And do not for a second believe that the dishes were clean with all that soap. No the dishes were always put away dirty and his lady was stealing my expensive shampoo and conditioner while he didn't have hair. Where is all the soap going??!

It's not just soaps/detergents though. It's also toilet paper. Paper towels, 3lbs of kosher salt, 2 square tins of organic black pepper, large size Lowry's seasoned salt, McCormick seasoned salt, this dude sees that I have purchased seasonings and just commandeers them, uses them completely within a week and never replaces them. This is a running thing with him and his lady, I am just here to provide them with free shit. While they fight and scream and one another, she insults me, and he pretends to be a gangster having random people roll through at all hours of the night making sure to have them shout their name right next to my window before he opens the door. He always opens the door...so why have them announce themselves?

The unhinged female that stays here is the best case to prove demon possession that I've ever seen. She is literally like 4 different people, all of them nasty, all of them mean, some are unintelligible. But she sits right in the kitchen next to the fridge pulling her shirt up to show her bare stomach and stretch marks from, 5, yes 5 children. None of which do these people ever mention at all. None of which are here.

These people have no empathy, no regard for anyone other than themselves. It never crosses their mind to treat people with respect or that maybe I'm not buying things for them and them alone. They take, take, take anything and everything as fast as they can because they cannot stand the thought of anyone else having something they do not or getting more of something than them. They use up everything so fast it's like they are offended at the thought of having household essentials. They are parasites. They are malignant ingrates who smile to my face and spit vile hatred when my back is turned while they fill their pockets.

TL;DR: no good deed goes unpunished. it's really really really expensive to be poor, because everyone and their dog is looking to rip off the vulnerable and prey on the kindness of others. Never move in with people unless you're sure they are not insane parasites.
