Life has no spice now. I remember hating mathematics as a kid due to how annoying and boring it was. I'm almost 30 now. And I still decided to use a cat from tiktok as my pfp. It's social media anyway so what's the deal of a random nobody hating on something that you found cool to use? First of all. I am not Nexus but he literally is more of an employee than a player. He simply makes money from showcasing hyped titles so him not doing that with AL (he polled if he should do it or not and 93% wanted the showcase) is kinda dumb. There is a 8 days gap between verifiers video and the owners aka the hype is kinda over so nexus isn't stealing shit.

I just wanted to post this because of how dumb this is in my opinion. Mf wont earn money from the verification anyway cuz his vid only got 85k views in a week so why is he upset? Because nexus will earn money from publishing the video? Baaaalright.

I didn't play a lot of games from steam in my life because i was used to roblox for most of the time. I beat like 10 games on steam such as silksong or hollow knight/cuphead but there's nothing much to talk about. People were always hyping me up about dark souls series as something hardcore and overall high quality to try.

So,was dark souls 3 worth it?

Quality wise Dark Souls 3 is a solid A+ tier game. Difficulty wise this game is disappointing. Ill link bosses difficulty tier list there (from easy bosses to bosses that are harder than literal games from 1 to 5).

The game itself.. The graphics,for its time,are honestly godly. Location variety is pretty huge aswell which is very cool (some people complain that they are similar but they probably don't know how hard it is to make games lol)

The enemy variety....is gigantic. My one of the most favourite dark souls 3 aspects is the unique enemy amount for sure. From normal knights to literal god looking worms that can breath with lightning at you or angel like skeletal beings that fire light beams at you from their wings. Enemy designs are very, I mean VERY good and memorable which is a huge part of the game sticking in your head. Overall the work put into the game is really obvious and I respect that. The cutscenes,enemy designs,locations,weapons,the variety is huge and in my opinion worth the price.

Is the game perfect though? Sadly,no.

First, the main problem for me is.. the weapon variety being irrelevant. Seriously,whats the point? I didn't play ng++++++++ where the enemy healthpool is much larger so i don't know that well but the game really just doesn't offer you the reason to change your weapon or armor. You are just fine with the most normal gear. That is a VERY big negative cuz if you can beat the game with starting weapon without much trouble then why bother to experiment and waste resources? I beat the whole game including dlcs with a simple long sword and i never felt that my weapon is too weak for my progression which is a big problem imo.

The second problem is how cramped some areas are. It's genuinely disgusting to fight some enemies due to how terrible the areas they are in are. You lock your camera and gameplay turns into bad trip where you just see the walls cuz the space between you and the enemy is almost 0. For some reason this is not a rare occasion which is not very pleasing.

Third is... Lore. Not much to explain there its impossible to really decipher what the game is about without youtube videos which is kinda sad.

There is a lot more problems such as the npcs not being interesting enough to gaf but thats probably just my preferences cuz as i know yall like the npcs and stuff.

So... The difficulty. I'll be honest. The difficulty of dark souls 3... Is not even remotely unique. I would say its the most normal game difficulty wise as it gets. The locations are not hard at all, the bosses can be problematic and take you a few hours but thats basically any game that tries to be somewhat challenging? Compared to something like super meat boy platinum this game is a genuine joke and compared to some Roblox games it felt like a tutorial to them. Don't want people to witch hunt me but Solo Celestial on Casual difficulty is harder than all 25 dark souls 3 bosses in a row without dying and i cannot really see a scenario where ds3 wins...yikes.

Is Dark Souls 3 an easy game though? No.

Overall I had a very positive experience about the game and i will obviously beat the first 2 games aswell cuz of how much i liked the third one.

DS3 took me 45 hours to beat including DLCs, this is an equivalent of beating 100% Silksong which took the same playtime.

Apparently on Challenge Enthusiasts tein give 260 stars compared to something like celeste which gives 150 (basically means that tein is much harder)

How do people beat it sub 100 hours of runs so frequently?

I only main roblox mostly so thats why i have only 5 platinums. Without afk time around 70-75 hours (accident 20 hour afk session bc I didnt turn my pc o ff + a couple more from other days).

This game..... Sucks. If someone wants a proper reasoning then i might drop it later but i don't want to flood this post with text or something.

Generally i wanted to test how hard steam platinums were compared to roblox so its not my only hard platinum if we will look into the future cuz i plan to try Jump King out (which people say is much harder)

Overall not recommended. One of the worst platformers that there is at the time just do the end is nigh instead (its much harder but the quality is higher aswell).
