I thought it would be fun to make a evil mirror universe version of the Power Pack, especially since we now have an official mirror universe for marvel in the form of the In-Verse. As for my backstory for them, I imagine them as being 4 kids raised by negligent parents, which left them feeling resentful towards the world, feeling like they weren’t notice, not even there. That was until they met the dying Kymellian warlord, Lord Whitemane, who was shot down by the heroic snarks. On the brink of death, the warlord gave the 4 resentful siblings his abilities, turning them into 4 superpowered beings who quickly took retribution on the snark forces on earth, and killed their neglectful parents as retribution before starting their career as villains, with Whitemane’s sentient warship, Monday. The team consists of…

•Gravity Master (Alex Power). The leader and oldest member of the pack, with the ability to control the gravitational pull of any object or being around him, which makes him a devastating threat. He does care for his siblings deeply since they are the only true family he really had, and will brutally attack anyone who dares to lay a hand on them. He does have a lot of resentment for the world for ignoring him and his siblings, and wants them to be noticed, and to be feared.

•Rainbow (Julie Power). A egotistical diva who relishes the spotlight and attention, no matter what it’s for. And thinks very highly of herself. Wearing a glowing rainbow suit matching her ability to fly at high speeds, leaving a rainbow trail behind her. She enjoys tormenting those she sees as beneath her with her powers, even though she’s the weakest member of the team.

•Blue Swarm (Jack Power). A living, blue ravenous swarm with a single consciousness, able to alter his shape and his density, and able to consume anything in his path, leaving only bones behind. He has an insatiable appetite, and is the most wild and brash member of the pack. And usually the first into a fight.

•and lastly, Harvester (Katie Power). A hyperactive and energetic little gremlin with not the best attention span, Harvester is an energy vampire who sucks out the life energy of living organisms with her fangs, and harvests it to fuel her body, while also giving her the ability to shoot out energy attacks, and energize her claws and fangs to make them more deadly. She’s regarded as the most ferocious in battle, even more than Jack. (Note: I was gonna give her the Darla Dimple hair style, but I didn’t think i could pull that off so I made her look more scrappy with big messy pigtails and long bangs that resembled big fangs.)

Now we head over to a female autobot who’s much more well known. Windblade, a Swordswomen, a Cityspeaker from Caminus, and a character Hasbro really pushed as one of the big main transformers characters awhile back. Compared to the 2 previous fembots, Windblade has a more definitive alt mode since she’s a jet, a jet with VTOL turbines in her wings. So a Jet or a VTOL aircraft of some kind would work for her. Or whatever else you think would work for Windblade.

We continue with the Wreckers by heading over to the deluxes vehicles, starting with the armed to the teeth, heavy-duty Ground Assault Commander, Roadbuster. We definitely need a heavy duty vehicle for him, and something that can go off-road as well. Whatever you think works for him. Sorry that this took awhile, I took a little break from this series, but now I’m back.

We head over to the 2nd to last character for this 2nd batch, Airachnid. The cruel and sadistic Decepticon spider-copter and rival to Arcee in Transformers Prime, and also sentinel’s surveillance officer and chief enforcer in Transformers One.

So I drew the Power Pack since i personally really like them, I just think they are a really fun and unique team with fun designs and a fun unique concept, and they are some characters I think would be nice to see get some more love, especially outside of the comics. When drawing them, i mostly used Gurihiru’s designs as reference, though taking some unique sound like making the seems of the cuffs and boots glow the same color of their respective suits. Really happy with how these turned out, and i hope you like my art for them. Sorry if my art isn’t that good, I did try to make it the best i could make it.

Now there’s some routes we can take with him, we could make him a modern version of the classic car carrier like in G1, or a missile truck like in Animated, or a long nose Semi Truck like in Prime, or whatever else you think would fit Ultra Magnus.

Now we are on to Moonracer, the youthful sharpshooter of Elita’s team. Just like with Chromia and Firestar, she hasn’t really gotten an earth mode, so really the sky is the limit for what you want to make her. Maybe a motorcycle, or a modern sports car, or even a vintage 50s/60s car if you think that suits her the best.

Going from Prowl, we follow up with Smokescreen. There’s some routes you could go with him, you could go with either something closer to his original G1 design, or maybe something more like Prime Smokescreen, or maybe something completely different. Like you could make him a Crop Duster for example, or something else that would work with his classic ability to generate smokescreens.

Compared to Kanga, I mostly just did some minor changes like making the gloves smaller, making the power boots simpler, changing the brown jeans to blue sweats, and adding some more detail on the hoodie. And did some minor changes and additions to his backstory. I’m really happy with how he turned out, and I hope you like his new look as well.

But he also can be rather reckless, is a little mischievous and hard-headed, and can have a short temper which he mostly keeps in check, but it can trigger when provoked enough or something really pisses him off. He does have the same drive to protect others like his mom, and does stand up for others like her, but he does it in a more sarcastic and mischievous way, quipping and taunting any bullies by saying stuff to purposely insult them like “if you wanted someone to kick your ass, you should have just called me”, and knows how to fight thanks to his mom teaching him how to fight and defend himself, and he does make sure to comfort and support the people he’s protecting. He does love his mom to bits, though he does find her rather dorky and odd, and finds her hyperfixation with Winnie the Pooh really weird, and often tries to act more “cool” and “serious” than his cutesy dorky mom, and he sometimes playfully teases his mom (though never maliciously). When Katherine started her career as the superhero Kanga, Jayden was supportive of his mom’s new mission but didn’t want to participate in it at first, especially since Katie didn’t want her kid to be seriously hurt or worse if he joined her in her superhero activities. But after Kanga’s first defeat at the hands of Silverfish, Jayden felt like he had to help his mom since it was clear that she couldn’t face everything alone. And after convincing her that she needed some help in her mission, Katie made a Brown and Blue superhero outfit for him to match her own, complete with his own set of power boots, and a homemade brown hoodie with kangaroo ears and a little kangaroo face on the hood, and a blue “R” on the chest. And so Jayden Roberts became Kanga’s new sidekick, Roo, and the two would defeat Silverfish together in their rematch, cementing him as a worthy hero in his own right. And Roo takes great pride in his new career as a hero fighting along side his mom, from fighting the many villains in their shared Rogues Gallery, to helping out his community in any way they can.

Now we are onto Prowl, the military strategist of the Autobots and a complete Prick (especially in IDW). Or a Calm, Silent, Nature-Loving Ninja if you’re going with Animated Prowl. There’s some creative stuff you could do with Prowl, like you could make him a modern police car, or a Police Truck/SUV, or a Police Motorcycle like in Animated. There’s a lot you could do with Prowl.

We are starting off the 2nd batch with the hot-headed Minibot, Cliffjumper. AKA not just a Red Bumblebee. Now there’s a couple routes we could go with. Make him a smaller vehicle to match Bee (if you really wanna go with him being a red Bumblebee), or a beefy Muscle Car like in Prime, or maybe even an off-road vehicle to go along with his name being Cliffjumper.

Winner for Soundwave’s alt mode is the GMC Topkick News Broadcast Truck submitted by u/B-M-B-0-6, with a total of 82 votes. A very fitting alt mode for the Decepticon’s communications officer. Maybe Laserbeak can turn into that massive Satellite Dish on top.

We are almost done, only 2 characters left for this first batch. Now we are on to the one-eyed logical menace, Shockwave. Just like with Megatron, Blaster, Soundwave and Perceptor, Shockwave has had some difficulty getting a proper modern alt mode, and like with them there’s a lot you could do with him, especially earth modes. He could be a Helicopter like in the 2007 Movie tie-in Game, or a Sports Car like Alternators, or even a Train if you wanted too. Hell, you could give him a beast mode if you wanted and it would work, maybe a Spinosaurus, or a Squid, or even a Whale like the Fan Vote Shockwave. There’s a lot you could do with Shockwave is what I’m saying.

Winner for Megatron’s alt mode is an Anti-Aircraft Gun submitted by u/AdAny8677, with a total of 88 votes. Specifically a 120mm gun M1, a huge stationary super-heavy Anti-Aircraft Gun that’s nicknamed the Stratosphere Gun thanks to its maximum altitude of 60,000 feet (18,000 meters). Maybe he can also be transported by another Decepticon when he’s in his alt mode as well. There were also some other great contenders as well, including the return of the V-22 Osprey, the Caesar 8x8 Howitzer Model, the RS-24 Yars missile truck, the B-2 Spirit, the Abrams X, a robotic Ankylosaurus/robotic Dragon, and a Military Half-Track just to name a few.

Now after Megatron, we go to his treacherous 2nd in Command, Starscream. And by extension all of the seekers including the likes of Thundercracker, Skywarp, Slipstream, Sunstorm, the Rainmakers, the Coneheads, the Welcoming Committee and many, many more. Compared to Megs, Starscream and the Seekers are much more easy to get down since they really need to be just modern Fighter Jets, like say the F-22 Raptor the F-35 Lightning II as 2 examples.

Winner for Perceptor’s alt mode is the Hubble Space Telescope submitted by u/theXman877, with a total of 79 votes. An absolutely GENIUS pick for Perceptor that I didn’t thought up at first, but it just works so well for him.

Now we are on to the big one, the most exciting character on this batch, the mighty leader or the Decepticons, Megatron. Now, I think it’s safe to say that he can’t be a gun anymore, but that still leaves a LOT of possibilities for his new alt mode, especially one that can match Optimus’ alt mode of a Naffco Falcon 8x8 airport fire truck. He could be a Helicopter like his incarnations in animated and earthspark, he could be a Truck like in DOTM, he could be a Stealth Bomber, he could be a Train, he could even be a triple changer like his Titans Return figure for example. Hell, he could even be a Dragon if you really wanted to. There’s a lot you could do with Megatron, and I’m really excited to see what you come up for him.
