For those who don’t know who she is. Windy is a female Autobot Micromaster, who first appeared in the Japanese exclusive toyline “Operation Combination”, as one of the 6 Autobot Train Micromasters that combined into Sixtrain (which was a retool/recolor of the previous year’s Sixliner combiner). She herself turns into a 400 Series Shinkansen Bullet Train, and formed one of the legs of Sixtrain in combined mode. As for her characterization, she’s characterized as a splendiferous young warrior who’s mentally a teenage girl, which makes her more obsessed with love and gossip then fighting. And she also has a beautiful singing voice, and the “idol” of the Autobots (and by Idol I of course mean like a Pop Idol). Yes, she’s a Gossipy Teen Pop Idol who turns into a Bullet Train.
I personally really like her. I think her characterization is fun and unique, and I’m a big fan of train transformers. Plus she’s really the only official female train transformer, aside from Yamabuki. Thought I’d give her some awareness in this post.

Astrotrain is the Leader, Dreadwing is the 2nd in Command, Flatline is the Brains, and Crankcase is just a regular ground trooper.
I thought it would be fun to base him off of Foxy Bro from Five Nights at Freddy’s, more specifically FNAF4, and I wanted to make a character as obnoxious, infuriating and cruel as Foxy Bro, so i thought he’d be a perfect character to base Fang’s redesign off of.
Also, the 2nd image is his “Emerald Fox” color scheme based on the original Fang, and image 3 is his Transformation Diagram. Anyways, hope you like my redesign for Fang.

I thought this would be fun idea to do, since the LNER A1s/A3s (with a few exceptions) were named after famous Racehorses, so i thought it would be fun to make up a hypothetical brand new A3 named after a more modern race horse. Here’s the 3rd entry to my list of characters I think would be fun to see show up in a future Transformers cartoon. Someone more obscure than others. Hope you like this 3rd list of characters I’m sharing here with you all. And once again, this isn’t a ranked list.

1: Blackout. I think Blackout deserves a new chance in the spotlight again. He’s probably one of the most memorable characters from the movies, since he was the first transformer shown in the first live action movie from 2007. He has such a cool design, and I think he would be a really cool addition to the Decepticon team in a new transformers series. I can easily see him as the muscle, using his sheer strength and firepower to overwhelm his opponents. Maybe he can also have his seismic powers from Animated.
2: Astrotrain. This is a very biased pic, since he’s my personal favorite Transformers character, and I didn’t want to include him in part 1 and 2 since I didn’t want to just include my personal favorites. But I would like to see him more, especially not there just to be killed off unceremoniously. I have a few fun ideas for him. One idea is that he could leave the Decepticons after loosing faith in Megatron’s leader ship and sick of being treated as nothing more then the transport, and either joining up with the Autobots (similar to say, Thundercracker) or striking it out on his own. And another idea I have is him killing Megatron at the start of the series and becoming Decepticon leader as a way to shake up the status quo and have a new main antagonist, I think that could be fun. But mostly, I just think it would be fun to see him get more love, since I really like him and I think he’s really cool, and I think there’s plenty of potential you can do with him.
3: Dragstrip. Similar to Astrotrain, I didn’t include him in the previous 2 parts since I didn’t want to just have my personal favorite characters in the list, and Dragstrip is one of my personal favorite transformers characters. But I think he would be cool to see on his own separate from the Stunticons as his own guy. Just a overcompetitive henchman terrorizing the Autobots on the Roads as one of Megatron’s men. I can easily see him wreaking havoc on the roads with say Crasher, the two of them competing to see who can cause the most mayhem. And I could see him beefing with the likes of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Maybe you could make him a girl as well, like in Animated. I just think it would be cool to see more of Dragstrip on his own.
4: Beachcomber. I think Beachcomber would be really nice to see show up, especially after all the love he got in the Skybound comics. I think it would be fun to see him fill the “Smart Guy” role usually filled by the likes of Ratchet and Wheeljack, just relaxing at the base and fixing up his comrades after they return from Battle. And with his Pacifism, you could tell some pretty cool and interesting stories with him. Plus he’d stand out with his unique design, color scheme and alt mode.
5: Minerva. I feel like Minerva definitely needs more love, due to her significance as the first female transformer to get a toy. Similar to what I said about Nautica in part 2, and Beachcomber in this list, I think she’d work really well as the team’s brains, helping her fellow Autobots on the field or at the base. And it would be fun to portray her as more young and optimistic to contrast with the more older and cynical medical characters we’ve gotten like Ratchet in both Prime and Animated. Plus it would be fun if they gave her a French accent, since Minerva in the original Masterforce anime was from France.
6: Barricade. Similar to Blackout, Barricade is probably one of the most beloved characters from the Movies, and it would be fun see him get a prominent role in a future Transformers series. I could see him as a brutish enforcer, forcing Autobots to give out intel, and being one of Megatron’s top soldiers in his team on Earth. Plus it would be fun to see him interrogate someone for intel or face off against Prowl in a Good Cop Bad Cop face-off. I just think he’d be cool to see show up again.
7: Salvage. I just think Salvage would be cool to see. I think they are a very interesting character, with him building all sorts of useful things from trash, him being a more thoughtful and gentle bot, and especially for his unique alt mode of a Garbage Truck. I just think it would be cool to see him more often, as either part of the main team as the powerful yet gentle giant of the group, or as a secondary character that shows up on occasion. I mostly just want to see him since he’s probably the most prominent garbage truck transformer we have, not counting Wreck Gar from Animated. Plus it would be fun to see some Rescue Bot representation.
8: Bludgeon. I absolutely love Bludgeon. He’s really cool, with him being an evil Decepticon Samurai with a Skull face. I think it would be really cool if he was the main villain of a new series, by either taking over from Megatron after he dies in the wreckage of the crashed Nemesis, or by killing him and usurping command of the cons. I think he’d be an absolutely awesome and menacing villain, especially if they make him an absolute beast of a bot. Plus it would be a fun callback to how he was Decepticon leader in the Marvel comics and in some of the Movie tie-in comics.
9: Onslaught. Similar to Bludgeon, I think Onslaught could be a fun new main villain to shake up the typical status quo, by having him take over Megatron after he dies and taking over as the leader of the Decepticons on earth. I’d imagine he’d be a good match for Optimus, in not only his strength and firepower, but also his sharp, strategic mind. And maybe the other Combaticons could be like his own Elite Gaurd, and their combined form of Bruticus could be the Decepticon’s ultimate weapon against the Autobots (especially if Optimus had his own super mode to combat Bruticus like the Powermaster armor for example). I think he’d make a fun new leader of the Decepticons similar to Bludgeon.
10: Windy. I just think she’s a fun obscure character, with a pretty unique personality as a gossipy teen pop idol, and the fact she’s the only official female train transformer, along with Yamabuki. Similar to Raiden and Rail Racer, I just think it would be nice to see some more Train Transformers get some love in western media, and it would be fun to see a really obscure character get the spotlight as well. I had the idea of her being reimagined as a bigger, bruiser type character (since she’s a train and trains are much bigger than cars and trucks), while keeping her original personality, which i think could be fun.
11: Lugnut. I absolutely love Lugnut, he’s one of the most memorable characters from Animated, with his fun design, and undying loyalty to the glorious Megatron. I feel like he deserves a proper return to the spotlight in a future transformers cartoon, since he’s a character fans adore. Bring him back as the Decepticon’s dumb loyal muscle who will gladly destroy the Autobots in the name of Megatron, either in robot mode or in his bomber mode. Plus, he is simply GLORIOUS.
and lastly, 12: Nova Prime. I think Nova Prime would be really cool to see show up in a new transformers cartoon, especially since we haven’t gotten a proper story revolving around him outside of the comics, apart from Devastation which teased him at the end. I think he’d work really well as the main villain of a special or movie for the series, an ancient, powerful tyrant who has reawakened after resting for ages. A bot so powerful it takes the combined might of the Autobots and the Decepticons to take him and his crew down, and even then Nova is probably the toughest foe either team has ever faced. I feel like a special would be perfect for a character like Nova. Plus his design goes so hard, and it would be cool to see him with a grand, booming, menacing voice to match his sheer size and power.
I personally think the 43xx would work really well with James. Since it’s a 2-6-0 Mogul that is designed for Mixed Traffic work, just like James. Plus, I think a 43xx would look quite lovely in Red in my opinion. What do you guys think of this idea for James?
I based his body off of the Legacy Laser Optimus Prime figure, since I think the Laser Prime body and truck mode would fit SG Megs really well, and it’s a nice nod to the DOTM Megatron. And also to help him stand out from his main universe counterpart more since I like it when SG versions of characters differ more from their main universe counterparts than just different colors. Plus if I get around to start making customs, I think this could be a fun custom to make.
I really love how he turned out, especially his head, his fusion cannon, and his colors. Hope you like my take on SG Megatron.

He does have his faults, I think his arms are way too short, and his transformation can be a bit fiddly, but he’s definitely not the worst thing I’ve handled. 1: Ironhide. Ironhide is probably the most high profile character I have brought up so far, but he hasn’t really shown up in anything recently or done anything notable recently, so i think it would be nice to see him again since he hasn’t shown up in awhile. I think it would be fun if they gave him a hybrid design that combines his G1 and Bayverse designs (similar to his unused Prime design shown in image 1). And i can see him as Optimus’s right hand man, the experienced veteran 2nd in command of the main Autobot team. And if he does come back, he must have the Arm Cannons.
2: Depth Charge. I personally really like Depth Charge, I really love his design and personality, and he hasn’t really done anything notable since Beast Wars, so I think it would be really cool to bring him back. Either as a Maximal in a hypothetical new Beast Wars series, or as an Autobot in a more standard Transformers series, similar to how other Beast Wars characters have been reimagined as Autobots or Decepticons. I can picture him as being a prominent secondary character that appears from time to time but not part of the main cast, similar to say Wheeljack in Transformers: Prime.
3: Spinister. Similar to Exhaust in part 1, I just think he would make a fun troop/henchmen character, and his characterization as a stealthy, mysterious, quiet loner could lead to some fun scenes and interactions with other characters. Plus his design and alt mode would help him stand out as well.
4: Viper. Once again, just like with Spinister and Exhaust, I just think he would make a fun troop/henchmen character. I’m not really a G.I Joe fan, but I really like how he looks, and I think he’d be fun to see as just a standard goon character. Nothing much more to say about him.
5: Warpath. I would absolutely love to see him get a proper spotlight in a new animated series. I can definitely see him as the Muscle of the main cast, the huge powerful bruiser, similar to Ironhide or Roadbuster. Especially if they make him huge and imposing like in the War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron games, the DOTM game and Animated. He’d be a lot of fun to see, especially with his unique design, alt mode, his cheerful bombastic personality, and his unique speech pattern.
6: Nautica. I really love Nautica, and I think it would be really nice to see her in a Transformers cartoon. I can definitely see her as the brains of the team, fixing up her fellow Autobots or creating new tools and weapons for her comrades. Plus she’d definitely stand out with her unique design and color scheme, and also for the fact she’s an aquatic transformer. Plus It would be nice to see a beloved IDW character get adapted into animation.
7: Clench. I think he would be really fun to see, since he has such a unique look. I can easily picture him as the Muscle of the Decepticons, an Absolute Beast in terms of strength and ferocity. Plus he hasn’t really shown up in anything outside of some small appearances in the comics, so I think it would be nice to give him some love.
8: Transit. Similar to Clench, I think he’d make a fun unique Bruiser character, especially especially since in his deleted scene from ROTB he was able to go up against Optimus Prime himself, so I think making him the Decepticon’s powerhouse would make a lot of sense for him. He would stand out a lot, since he turns into a Bus, and it would be nice to see him show up in animation, since his scene in Rise of The Beasts was famously deleted from the film.
9: Rail Racer (and Team Bullet Train). I love Rail Racer, he’s one of my favorite combiners, and I think it would be nice to see him and Team Bullet Train show up again in a new transformers series. I can see the team as secondary/guest characters, similar to what I said about Depth Charge, characters that show up from time to time and aren’t part of the main cast. Plus it would be nice to see some more love for Train Transformers, and some love for RID2001 as well.
And lastly, 10: Raiden (and the Trainbots). Just like with Rail Racer, I think it would be really cool to see more Train Transformers get some time in the spotlight again. Especially so with Raiden and the Trainbots since outside of a tiny cameo in the Dreamwave comics, they have never shown up in any English language media, so it would be a big deal if they were brought back in a new transformers series. And like Rail Racer and Team Bullet Train, I’m picturing them as secondary/guest characters as well.
These are some characters I personally would be fun to see appear in a future transformers series. Might make a part 2 to this if I feel like it. But anyways, hope you enjoy this list. This isn’t a ranked list btw, thought I’d make that clear.
1: Crasher. I really love Crasher, and I think it would really fun to see her show up. I can easily picture her laughing like crazy while terrorizing the Autobots on the roads. Plus she’s probably one of the more notable characters from GoBots (mostly thanks to her laugh). I think she would fit in perfectly into a Decepticon roster.
2: Flatline. I think there’s so much potential with Flatline, since he’s characterized as someone who takes his medical oath very seriously and will treat any damaged transformer, Autobot or Decepticon. I think there’s so much potential with that, have him secretly heal Autobots under Megatron’s nose, or struggling with his faith with the Decepticon cause. Like, Flatline has so much potential in my opinion.
3: Exhaust. I just think he looks really cool as an evil red and white wheeljack with a cool unique head design, and I think he’d be a good henchmen/trooper character. with Plus his ability to turn into smoke would also be cool to see in animation.
4: Ricochet (AKA Stepper). Similar to Exhaust, I just think he’d be cool to see just because I think he looks really cool, with his black, white and gold color scheme. And he could provide a unique role to the autobot team as a talented Marksmen, similar to say DC’s Deadshot for example.
5: Roadbuster. I think he would be really cool to see as the Autobot’s muscle similar to Ironhide or Bulkhead. A big, hulking bot that’s armed to the teeth, able to take out swarms of Decepticons on his own. Plus I think it would be fun to see what he does whenever he’s not in combat, being bored at the autobot base and looking for something to amuse himself while he’s not in battle.
6: Hound. More specifically something similar to the G1 Hound, the nature loving scout. I think it would be fun to see him given the spotlight again as the kid appeal character similar to how he was in the G1 pilot before Bumblebee took that spot for him. It would be refreshing to see a new kid appeal character that isn’t Bumblebee. Plus his hologram abilities would be fun to see, and I think it would be fun if he had a rivalry with Soundwave, since he fought Rumble and captured Ravage in the G1 cartoon.
And lastly, 7: Strika. I think she would be really cool to see show up, either as simply the Bruiser of the Decepticon team or even as the 2nd in command, the perfect mix of brains, brawn and firepower. And I think it would be fun to pair her up against Ironhide, Roadbuster, or whoever the Autobot’s muscle would be.
