Hi !
I've been looking into surf camps because surfing really appeals to me, but honestly, the biggest reason is the social aspect. I'm looking for that feeling: meeting new people, making friends, hanging out, sharing activities, parties, etc.
The problem is that surf camps can get pretty expensive…
Do you know of any cheaper alternatives that offer a similar vibe? It doesn't necessarily have to involve surfing. I'm open to pretty much anything as long as it's social, fun, and attracts people in their 20s. I’m in France so travelling to US would also be expensive !

I'd love to hear about your experiences or recommendations.

I'm obsessed with the whole early 2000s skate/punk culture. I skate, I've recently gotten really into fingerboarding (including building DIY ibstacles), and I play pretty much every skate game I can find, especially anything with that THPS vibe. I'm also into early 2000s digital photography aesthetics, i looove tattoos, and shows like Jackass, Viva La Bam, and CKY. On top of that, I play guitar, produce my own music, and mostly listen to alternative rock and pop punk.

I'm not really looking for music recommendations. What I'm after are the kinds of niche interests that make you lose an entire weekend because you suddenly discover a whole world you never knew existed.

It could be an obscure hobby, a forgotten subculture, a book, a magazine, a documentary, a YouTube channel, an old website, a creative skill, a collection, or literally anything that captures that same chaotic, creative energy.

Hey ! I’m a complete newbie about photography, just got an old Canon SX 540 HS for free and I want to shoot during a skate event tomorrow.

Don’t got any interesting lens like fish eye for this type of photo, but I think I can catch the vibe with good settings…tomorrow will be sunny af, good for the light !

What settings should I have ? Is there any precise shutter speed for sport like this ? Other tips ?
