I just realized something
These two technically have the same name. (In my native language, German, X and Z are pronounced in a completely different way. That’s why it took me a while to notice.^^)

My boyfriend and I love the premise of the show. But right now, the only reason why we‘re still watching is because we want to know how it ends. Season 1 and 2 were great, season 3 was good, season 4 started off good but keeps getting worse. Except for the finale of the 2nd cour, that was great. Here is what bothers us the most:
1. Pacing (obviously)
Instead of showing the process of creation, things just exist all of a sudden without even being mentioned before. This is why we fell in love with the anime in the first place. And now it’s completely gone.
2. Details of the background characters
Back in season 1 and 2, every one of Tsukasa‘s people were treated as individuals. Sure, most of them were the same type of person but they still looked different and they all had unique petrification marks. It’s similar with the villagers. They didn’t have names, but they all looked different. And Soyuz even became important. Now compare that to the background characters who are just manpower. They all look the same and none of them have petrification marks, even though it’s their first depetrification. It’s like they just want to get this over with.
3. Not doing anything with the existing characters
Back in season 2, Ukyo was the biggest problem after Tsukasa himself. And Matsukase still is a walking mystery. If we even get to see him. He is from an ancient civilization that we still know nothing about. Instead, he keeps serving Ginrō because he thinks he’s the king? Both of them have so much potential that was just thrown away. They’re pretty much background characters by now.
4. Chelsea and Gen
As much as I love Chelsea, but ever since her introduction, we didn’t get a single "mentalist moment“ from Gen. I think the last one was when he was captured by Xeno. They were some of the best and most interesting scenes in the show. And now all we get is Chelsea and her big mouth. And it works for some reason?! Any normal person wouldn’t tell anyone anything if they were talked to like that.
What do you think?
First of all, I likely won’t publish the book. But I‘m still curious what you guys think.
I‘m writing a sci-fi / fantasy book about a "What if?“ scenario about the library of Alexandria and I‘m really experimenting with my writing style. I have many characters (probably too many, but anyways), so I switch the style with every POV. Each character has their assigned style. So far I have:
1st person POV in present tense with a more childlike demeanor
3rd person POV in present tense
3rd person POV in past tense from a nameless character
3rd person POV in past tense where the narrator throws in remarks
Poems in 1st person POV (working on it)
I‘m also thinking about immersing the reader into the story as a character by using 2nd person POV. Kinda like in a "character x reader“ fanfiction.
However, I have never read a book like that, so Idk what it’s like to read a book like that. What do you guys think?
Ich habe im Oktober erst zwei neue Jeanshosen gekauft und eine davon ist jetzt schon kaputt. Könnte kotzen.
Edit: Bin übrigens w.
I‘m working on a project about Prometheus. I found this spelling of his name (Προμηθεύς) in Ancient Greek on several sources and turned it into a matching font for the project. However, since I don’t know anything about the Greek alphabet, let alone the ancient one, I wanted to check in with you guys to make sure the letters are still accurate before I actually use them.
So my boyfriend and I have a little "game“ about who loves whom the most:
1: "I love you.“
2: "I love you more.“
1: "I live you the most.“
2: "I love you the very most.“
1: "I love you the very very most^1.“
(Then always add "very“ till one of us decides to give up.)
1: "I love you infinity times the most.“
2: "I love you ten billion times the most.“
The last line obviously is a Dr. Stone reference because Senkū always says that. AND THEN HE COMES AT US WITH 100 BILLION?!!!
^1 Quirk of our native language, German. "The most“ is "am meisten“ and "the very most“ is "am allermeisten“. Then, you can just keep adding "aller-" to make it even more the most.
When they visit Frank and ask for the code of his account book, Frank potentially dies. Chloe then takes the code and they leave. But why doesn’t Max take it and then rewind? In fact, why doesn’t she rewind no matter the outcome? That way, Frank wouldn’t even know they were there and would potentially still have the money. If he does come too close again later, they can just pay him off then.
Women written by men ist ja mittlerweile schon fast ein Meme.
