I need to get this out right now because I have too much going on in my mind already.

1. Yes, macrame is a knotting technique. But that doesn’t mean every knotting technique is macrame! Macrame was created by carpenters in Africa. But I just saw a tutorial on YouTube titled "Celtic knot macrame bracelet“. Of course! Because Celtics are African!

2. Why do they always have so much yarn left?! Macrame was invented TO USE UP THE LEFTOVERS! You’re not supposed to have much left over after using up the leftovers! Yet in many videos, there are several strands of 15 cm yarn left! Of course it’s easier to knot with longer threads! But that’s against what macrame is!

Is it possible someone drinks so much they don’t remember anything the next morning but don’t feel hangover?

I‘m writing a book right now, but I‘m kinda stuck on one scene. The protagonist (m, 17) gets 🍇 by his stepfather. However, due to a severe injury, he had to stay in the hospital for a while. During that time, the stepfather also 🍇 the two little siblings. When the protagonist finds out, he messages his best friend (m, 17) and asks if he and his siblings can stay with him for the night. The friend and his dad agree and pick them up. A few hours later, the protagonist asks for alcohol and him and the friend start drinking together. The protagonist opens up about their home life and they end up having sex (fade to black). In the next morning, the protagonist has forgotten everything that happened after he asked for alcohol. But he sees sperm on his stomach and thinks his friend 🍇 him too. So he panics and hides in the bathroom. The friend wakes up from him leaving the room and follows him, but the bathroom door is already locked.

How would you react? Would you talk to the protagonist through the door? Would you give them space (the parents and the siblings are there too and might need the bathroom)? What would you do if you were the best friend?

I‘m reading Dan Brown‘s "The Secret of Secrets“ right now, which involves epilepsy. According to him, epileptic seizures feel good, almost like something otherworldly and he compares them to near-death experiences and other out-of-body experiences. When I wanted to check if that’s true, I only found articles about what an epileptic seizure looks like from the outside. But I couldn’t find anything about what it feels like. And since I don’t have epilepsy and I also don’t know anyone who does, I thought I’d ask here.

I just watched the last episode and in the end, they said sth along the lines of "to be continued“. Do we know anything about that?

Assuming their planet is similar to ours, that would mean it’s mostly made of earth and / or metal. Both materials can obviously be bend by earthbenders. So if there is an earthbender who’s strong enough, couldn’t they bend the whole planet? Like stopping the rotation (if it is a world that rotates)? Or messing with the axis (if it has one)? Or just folding the whole thing like a sheet of paper?

Ich (w26) bin gerade in der Psychiatrie. Freiwillig, wohlgemerkt. Meine Station ist im 1. Stock und nichtmal hier gibt’s ne verfickte Klimaanlage!!! Wir kommen hierher, damit es uns besser geht, aber stattdessen sind wir alle ständig müde und genervt, wegen dieser kack Hitze!!! Ihr wusstet schon seit den 80ern vom Klimawandel, habt aber n Scheiß dagegen gemacht!!! Jetzt steht dazu und installiert die scheiß Klimaanlagen!!! Wie soll man sonst gesund werden?!!! Ich mag mir gar nicht vorstellen, wie das in normalen Krankenhäusern ist!!!

My character was stabbed, so he is on strong painkillers. But the day he was released from the hospital, he drinks lots of strong alcohol. I can find tons of information about damages that aren’t immediately noticeable, like damage to the kidneys, liver and stomach. But what about more noticeable stuff? Does the effect of the alcohol become stronger because of the medication? Does it make you throw up faster? Anything else?

While watching the new episode yesterday, my partner and I thought about a what if scenario: What if Chrome was born before the first petrification? Would he be friends with Senkū? Would he be even more intelligent than Senkū? Would he become more successful than Xeno?

Is there a good fanfiction like that already? Or do I have to write it? /j
