How do you actually PERMA shift / enter the void state? (Need real step-by-step explanation)

How do you actually PERMA shift / enter the void state? (Need real step-by-step explanation)

Hi everyone,

I need honest help because I feel like I’m not getting real answers anywhere.( I sadly looked on TikTok and tumblr and got more confused than I was before lol)

I’ve never shifted or entered the void state before at all, but I already have a DR fully set up and I’m genuinely willing to do whatever it takes to get there and stay there permanently.

What I don’t understand is HOW people actually do it in practice.

Most answers I see are like:

“you’re already there”
“just shift”
“assume it and stay there”

But I’m looking for something more detailed than that.

Like I need the real process, step-by-step, not vague explanations.

For people who have actually done it or understand it deeply:

What do you actually DO from the moment you try?
What are you focusing on mentally?
What does it feel like when it starts working?
How do you stay once you get there and not snap back?
Is there a specific method or mindset shift that actually clicks it into place?

I really want to understand the mechanics behind it, not just the theory.

If you’ve successfully shifted or entered the void state, please explain it like I’ve never done it before. I need the “needy gritty” details because the basic explanations aren’t clicking for me.

Thanks in advance. :))

Help understanding how this Choso crochet plush is made (amigurumi clothing vs crocheted details?)

Hi everyone!

I came across a Choso plush on Pinterest (from Jujutsu Kaisen) and I thought it was super cute. My niece is a big fan of JJK, especially Choso, so I really want to try making it for her.

From the comments, I found out the creator used the “chibi base amigurumi” tutorial by Amigurumi & Crafts (Chiharu Suh).

What I’m confused about is how the outfit is constructed.

In some of her other tutorials (like chibi Sukuna), she seems to either:

crochet a full chibi base, then add clothes on top (like a robe or boots), or
possibly crochet parts of the body in different colors to look like clothing.

For the Choso plush specifically, I can’t tell if:

the white robe and brown “boots” are separate clothing pieces added onto a full base, or
if those parts are actually crocheted directly into the body using color changes (like crocheting the legs in brown/white to create pants, then adding sleeves and the purple scarf separately).

If anyone has made similar chibi anime plushies or knows this style, I’d really appreciate the help! I want to make sure I’m understanding the construction correctly before I start.

Thank you so much!

How can I restore fluffy polyester faux fur yarn after dyeing it?

Hi everyone!

I recently dyed some 100% polyester faux fur yarn (it was originally white), and while the color turned out nicely, the yarn lost almost all of its fluff.
Before dyeing, it was soft, full, and looked like the first picture. After dyeing, it looks matted, stringy, and tangled (second picture). I dyed it in purple and let it dry, but it still looks like this.

I’m wondering:
Is this normal with polyester faux fur yarn?
Is there a way to restore the original fluffy texture?
Would brushing it help?
Did I permanently damage the fibers, or is there a way to revive them?
If you’ve dyed this type of yarn before, what worked for you?

I’d really appreciate any advice because I love the color, but I was hoping it would stay as fluffy as it was originally.

Thanks in advance!

⚠️⚠️EDIT⚠️⚠️

hey yall 😭 I’m genuinely just trying to learn how to dye fluffy yarn because so many places don’t sell the colors I want, and when they do it’s super expensive.

I’m deciding to just put white yarn and try dyeing it again but I want to be prepared this time.

I’ve been getting mixed advice like boiling vs cold water, so I’m a little confused what’s actually the correct method?

Also, how are you supposed to dry it after without it getting all matted or messed up? I
I’m open to advice, I just really want to learn how to do this properly

How are people making their own colored faux fur yarn?!

I came across a TikTok from someone who made their own custom-colored fluffy yarn, and now I’m really curious about how it’s done.

I’ve seen people dye regular yarn before, but I’m talking about those super fluffy faux fur/polyester yarns (like Yarn Bee Fur The Moment).

How do people get the color to actually stick to the fibers? Is it dyed after the yarn is made, airbrushed, painted, or is there another technique? And if you do dye it, how do you keep it soft and fluffy instead of ruining the texture?

I’d love to try making my own custom colors, so if anyone has experience with this or knows the process, I’d really appreciate any tips!

Has anyone successfully dyed fluffy yarn? (100% polyester)

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has tried dyeing Yarn Bee Fur The Moment yarn. The label says it's 100% polyester, because of the texture I'm not sure if can be dyed.

If you've done it before what kind of dye did you use? Did the color come out evenly? Will it lose its fluffiness? (My biggest concern) Any tips or things you wish you knew beforehand?
Is it worth trying, or should I just buy the color ! want instead?

l'd love to hear about your experiences, especially if you've dyed faux fur or other 100% polyester yarns.
Thanks in advance!

First time using faux fur yarn… can I wet it to see the stitches better?

Hello!

I’m using faux fur yarn for the first time and I feel like I’m crocheting blind. 😭 I’m working with Yarn Bee Fur The Moment Yarn and cannot see my stitches.

I saw a comment on TikTok asking if you could lightly wet or mist the yarn to make the stitches more visible while crocheting. Does that actually work, or would it cause problems?

I’ve also tried the double-strand method with acrylic yarn and the fur yarn together, which helps a lot, but I can sometimes see the acrylic poking through the fur on the outside. The yarn recommends a 9mm hook, but I’m using an 8mm for a tighter fabric since I’m making a plushie.

Has anyone used this yarn before, and do you have any tips for not completely losing your stitches? 🥲

Also I’m running on 3 stich markers left so that’s not much of a option

Thank you!

Is there a crochet pattern like this that works as an actual fitted tank top?

Hi everyone!
I came across this top and really love the shape of the bust area, but I’m wondering if there’s a pattern out there that’s similar while being a true tank top rather than a bikini top with a rectangle added underneath.

What I’m looking for is a one-piece construction that looks intentional and seamless, fitted like a regular tank top (on the tighter side), with the shaping and flattering neckline of the photo, and enough structure that it feels like an actual top not just bikini cups sewn onto a panel. I also prefer something that lightly hugs or contours the body.

Does anyone know of a pattern like this, or what search terms I should use to find one?

Thanks!

Looking for a crochet pattern similar to these fitted tank top?

(I really like the first photo but the back of the second and third photo)

Hi everyone!
I came across this crochet top and was wondering if anyone knows of a pattern that’s similar, or what style of top I should search for.
I’m looking for a very basic crochet tank top/camisole with thin straps and a simple design, but I really like how this one is fitted. It has a slightly curved neckline, a smooth body made mostly of simple stitches, and it looks like it gently hugs the waist instead of hanging straight down. The bottom edge is slightly curved as well, which gives it a flattering shape.

Does anyone know of a pattern like this, or have suggestions for techniques that help crochet tops have a more fitted silhouette? Would shaping, decreases, smaller hook sizes, ribbing, or a specific yarn type help achieve this look?
Thanks!

What yarn should I use for making giant plushies like these?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been wanting to make some really big crochet plushies like the ones in the photos, but I’m confused about what yarn size to use.
From what I’ve seen, I think the creator holding the giant character plushies uses a weight 6 yarn, while the other creator uses a weight 7 jumbo yarn. The thing I’m not sure about is whether their finished plushies are actually around the same size or if the weight 7 ones end up significantly bigger.

How do you decide between weight 6 and weight 7
for large plushies?
Is one easier to work with than the other?
Does weight 7 make the plushie much larger, or can you get a similar size with weight 6 by using a bigger hook or pattern?
If your goal is plushies around 2–4 feet tall, which would you recommend?
Are there specific yarn brands you’d suggest?
I’ve been researching forever and feel like everyone recommends something different, so I’d love to hear from people who have actually made giant plushies before. Thanks!

What affirmations would I put in a subliminal to attract multiple job offers?

Hi everyone! I really want to get a job, and I want to make my own subliminal to help me stay positive and focused during my job search. The thing is, I don’t want to attract just one job. I’d like multiple jobs to contact me so I can have options and choose the one that’s the best fit for me. What kinds of affirmations would you include in a subliminal for this?

What is the best yarn + hook for BIG amigurumi plushies?

Hi everyone! I really want to start making larger amigurumi plushies, but the internet seems so divided on what materials to use. 😭

Some people swear by premier parfait yarn, others say loops and threads are easier to work with, and then there are people using cotton.

Then when it comes to hooks, I’ve seen recommendations ranging from 4 mm all the way up to 8 mm+.

I want my plushies to be:
Fairly big, Soft, Have minimal holes so stuffing doesn’t show, Hold their shape well.

Before I accidentally throw all my money at the craft store, I wanted to ask:
What yarn brand/type do you recommend for bigger amigurumi?
What hook size do you usually pair with it?
Any yarns you’d tell a beginner to avoid?

For reference, I’m hoping to make plushies similar in size/style to the ones in the picture. I just want to make sure I’m buying the right supplies before my wallet becomes a sacrifice. 🫠

Thanks in advance!!

Does anyone know of any crochet patterns for Gojo that show his eyes?

I always see Gojo crochet patterns with his blindfold/eye mask on, but I can never seem to find one that actually shows his eyes. I’m looking for something in a cute chibi style (I think that’s what it’s called?).

Has anyone come across a pattern like that, or have recommendations for how to modify an existing Gojo pattern to show his eyes instead of the blindfold?

Thanks!

How do people crochet plushies/characters without patterns? Do you just use a base?

I keep seeing crochet plushies where people make full characters (like anime characters, animals, even original designs) and they also add all these accessories and details but they don’t seem to follow any pattern.

How does that work??

Do people just start with a basic “base” body shape and then freestyle everything from there? Or do you usually modify existing patterns and just change things like the head, limbs, clothes, etc.?

Also, when it comes to things like facial features, hair, outfits, and props do you just kind of “eyeball it” and adjust as you go, or is there a method people follow to make it look proportional?

I want to start making my own custom plushies instead of only following patterns, but I don’t really understand how people go from a reference image to a finished crochet character.

Any tips or explanations would really help 🙏

Manifesting j*bs…

The workforce is actually wild right now. Everyone keeps saying they’re hiring, but then you apply and either get ghosted or never hear back. At this point I’m calling in manifestation for backup. 💀
So for the people who have successfully manifested a job:

What method worked best for you?
Did you use affirmations, scripting, SATS, visualization, subliminals, robotic affirming, or something else?

How long did it take before you got an offer?
Did you do anything specific that made you feel like things started moving?
I’ve been thinking about making my own subliminal focused on getting hired, but I’m curious what has worked for other people. I still apply for jobs obviously, but I want to hear the manifestation side of things too.

Success stories, weird coincidences, “I got hired out of nowhere” moments, drop them below. I need some inspiration because these job applications are starting to feel like I’m throwing resume into a black hole. 👺
Thanks in advance!

Good driving schools in Bakersfield for an 18-year-old beginner?

Hey everyone,

I just turned 18 and I’m looking for a good driving school in Bakersfield. I don’t have much driving experience, so I’m basically starting from scratch and looking for instructors who are patient and good with nervous beginners.

I’ve seen a few schools online, but it’s hard to tell which ones are actually worth the money. I’m hoping to find somewhere that teaches more than just the basics and can help me feel confident driving on regular roads, highways, parking lots, etc.

If you’ve taken lessons recently or know someone who has, I’d love to hear your recommendations (or schools to avoid).

Thanks!

First Job Applicant Looking for Resume Feedback + Advice

Hi! I’m a high school graduate looking for my first job in retail/food service (Target, Old Navy, movie theaters, restaurants, fast food, etc.). I live in a small town, so job openings are limited, and I haven’t had much luck getting interviews yet.

I’d really appreciate any feedback on my resume or anything I can improve to increase my chances of getting hired.

I’d also love any advice on:
where I should be applying as a first-time worker
how to make my application stand out
what usually causes applications to get ignored or passed over
anything you recommend doing differently when applying for entry-level jobs

Thank you so much for any help!

Sending Billie Eilish a Grad Invitation??

Has anyone else seen those TikToks of people sending graduation invitations to Billie Eilish and actually getting responses back?? 😭

I kinda wanna try it but I have no idea what you’re supposed to put in there. Do people write letters too? Add photos? Decorations?

If anyone has done this before or has examples of what they sent, please help lol
