Priceline express deal for rental car

We will be traveling to Pheonix and need to rent a car. Pricelines express deal with insurance is quite a bit less then renting directly through the car rental sites. I understand that I cannot cancel the rental and I am not concerned with that since the savings is enough. Does anyone have any good or bad for renting a car through pricelines express deal?

Hilton vacation club ridge

I have a room booked through hotels.com for 2 nights at the hilton vacation club ridge. I just saw some stuff regarding timeshare pitches. For anyone that has stayed there can you just tell them no or are they pushy? I have no problem saying no but also do not want constant pressure from anyone.

Yavapai east vs west

I am trying to decide if I should book a room in yavapai east or west for 2 nights? Stairs are not a big deal to us so that does not matter. It looks like possibly east has been more recently remodeled from some videos that I have found but not for sure. If you had to choose between the 2 which one would you book and why?

Adding to govee pro extension cable?

On the govee pro lights can I cut and splice in to add a 4ft section of 18/3 wire to the 12ft extension that the kit comes with to make it 16ft long?

Midea over the range microwave

I need to buy a new over the range microwave. I am looking at a midea from lowes and a whirlpool from menards. The midea has more options, led lights and is cheaper than the whirlpool. Usually cheaper means less quality but from my research midea might make whirlpool. Does anyone have experience with midea microwaves?

Samsung microwave shuts off and display goes black/out

I have a samsung over the range microwave that turns off a few seconds after it starts and when this happens the display goes black and out. After it sits for 15-20 seconds the display looks like it resets and comes back on. I replaced the door switches about 1 year ago but when that happened I do not remember the display going out and reseting. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Looking at using turo for a rental car

I am looking at using turo for a rental car for a week out of Phoenix airport. I have never used turo before and reading here possibly has me concerned. If I make sure the host has several reviews and trips and the vehicle is newer is there anything else that I should look for? I would also get the better insurance plan that they offer. Or should I just pay the extra and get a car from a chain type rental place?

Help me plan a trip to the grand canyon

I am sure this has been asked several times but help me plan a trip to the grand canyon. Our plan is to fly into Phoenix on either Sunday or Monday rent a car to drive to the grand canyon and fly home on either Friday or Saturday from Phoenix. From reading other posts it sounds like we should spend a day in flagstaff and a day in Sedona. We are planning on going middle to end of August. Are there any must see’s or things we should do and things that should be passed on?

How does my install look?

This is a follow up post to me replacing my exterior lights on my house. They were previously installed with drywall screws through the vinyl j block to hold them to the wall. I ended up getting pancake box extension rings and taking the knock out, out of the siding j block so the brackets could be screwed to the box and the ground bonded to the box. Does this install look ok to everyone?

Thoughts

I purchased an item from a sellers website (business) and payed with paypal. Seller has 30 day return policy both on website and in a verification email that I have from the seller. The item did not work for me so the seller agreed to do a return and a refund. The seller has had the item back in their possession for 12 days now and I still do not have a refund. I opened a case with paypal and paypal closed the case stating that the seller did no wrong in the transaction since they shipped me the item originally. I sent all the info to paypal along with the return shipping tracking number proving the seller got their item back. Should I appeal the paypal case outcome or open a dispute with my credit card company now. I have been a long time paypal user, this is my first ever case filed with paypal and I am very disappointed how they did not really help at all.

Outside light fixture box

I am in the process of replacing the outside light fixtures in my house and the old light fixture brackets were just held in the wall with drywall screws in the spots circled in the picture. I want to install the new lights so they mount tight to the box. Can anyone tell me what the proper electrical box for these should be so that the lights can be attached properly. The siding block measures around 7/8 inch deep. The picture shown has the outside part of the siding off and I have attached a picture with the old light on. Thanks in advance.

Power supply in the rain

I just received a robot lawn mower that I purchased from a newer small company. I have attached pics of the power supply that came with it and the companies response to my question if it can get wet because it says for dry use only on it. The power supply is to be plugged in outside and out in the elements. Would anyone use this out in the elements or not? It is only a 2 plug, plug in if that matters. Also can anyone tell me what the house symbol with 1625 under it means?

I ordered and received a bestmow titan and I was not able to get it set up due to a failed update. They say it is now fixed but I will not be able try again until the weekend. I was looking at stuff closer on it since I was having a issue and the instructions state to have everything outside and no roofs or garages due to the rtk. It says right on the power supply for dry use only. I questioned bestmow and they stated it is waterproof. This has me questioning everything on it and I am debating if I should keep it or try to return it under the 30 day policy. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions?

I am a long time powersports person but new to the utv world and am looking at purchasing a sxs. Can I get some real world opinions on the cf moto zforce sport 950 4 seater model? I know it is more of an entry level type machine but it can be bought new for the same price as the big name brand ones go for used. I just do not want to go all in on an expensive one until I know how much we would actually use it.
