5 Leagues - Turn 5 - Horror in the Hollow

This is the site battle portion of turn five. Tried to simulate a dungeon crawl but in a wildscape with ruins. Got to paint some new mini's for this (gellerpox vermin really worked here!). Walked out with some nice treasure and luckily a dose of silvertree leaf saved someone from dying. As always, thanks for looking!

5 Leagues - Turns 4 and 5 East to Ironvein and the Weight of the New Moon

I am starting to get into the groove of these rules versus 5 Parsecs. Decided to mesh turns 4 and 5 together as turn 4 was basically traveling to the next settlement and a successful scouting roll made the trip uneventful. The dice really helped propel the story as the locals were both happy to see me and supportive on both Local events and "meet the locals". And a nice contract from a secretive group should provide for a fun battle encounter. As always, thanks for looking!

Relicblade: The Cart of Cursed Cargo – Cyclopean Ruins

Thought I would share this here. Been playing other skirmish games lately and forgot what a blast Relicblade is. Lots of pic’s from a fun game. Hope you enjoy, thanks for looking!

5 Leagues Turn Two - Cruel Deserters at the Crumbling Inn

This was a fun game. Coming from 5 Parsecs I am still learning all the differences etc. I somehow managed to get my warband through it without injury...I really thought my mystic was doomed but the dice showed up for him. And good archers are really a big deciding factor. I realized in this game that I missed the random battle events like and 5 Parsecs and found them in the Compendium and will start using them. Anyway, thanks for looking!

5 Leagues - Blightburners Turn Two – The Ogre

This was a brutal one round affair that left my main hero (who is also the toughest and most armored) in a crumpled heap. A point of luck saved her from death. Fun though. Thanks for looking!

Blightburners Turn 1 - Mirefield farms and the roadside fight

First actual turn of this campaign. Coming from 5 Parsecs I was surprised how fast and brutal the combat went. I really like these melee rules. Like in 5 Parsecs ranged attacks are very powerful (lost a guy in round one!). I rolled super lucky on the loot, both the amount and the quality. And I was really excited to get to paint up my Wargames Atlantic Fantasy guards to use as roadside robbers in this game! Still learning the differences and changes from Parsecs to Leagues, but really like the game play. Anyway, thanks for looking!

So after a pretty great experience with 5 Parsecs I decided to dip my toes into 5 Leagues. I decided to turn the Starter scenario into the how they met part of the story. The fight was really quick and brutal and could have seen it going the other way easily. Was surprised that starting toughness is 3 versus the 4 toughness of 5 Parsecs yet the enemies started with 4? Anyway creating the world and the warband was fun. Am going for something crossed with Wartales, Mordheim and Tainted Grail. Adventure awaits and thanks for looking!
