I am supposed to appear for online assessment for IBM Associate System Engineer role (Off Campus). I have not yet got any dates for it.

There will be 3 rounds :

1. Coding
2. Recorded Competency Video
3. English Language Assessment

Please tell me what type of questions can be expected for each of these rounds.

Also, there were not a single mention of any offline round, so will there be any offline round, and if yes then what type of questions and rounds to expect then.

I had previously given exam for the same on 17th may and was informed by mail that result was to be declared by middle of this very week. But still haven’t got anything neither rejection nor acceptance.

Also came across some posts that someone gave exam on 24th and got selection mail on 25th and also some have given interview on 25th.

So should I again fill up the form for it? I have mentioned that I have given an exam and the date when asked.

I just gave the exam, and I solved 2 questions the easy and the medium, but I think the easy one was harder than medium due to edge case, spent eternity to solve the edge case. Medium question was a dp question but very simple logic nothing too complex.

Will I be selected for next round?

If I get selected for next round, what is the next process, I have not given any interview till now, I am 2026 batch. What will be in-person assessment be like!
