"Both praise and degradation, me thinks... With the emphasis on silence in his character stories and his relatively aggressive/snide remarks, I feel he likes to use his voice.

He doesn't give me the vibes of being too interested in religious kinks, however - he's got some baggage over the Aeons and a general distaste for worshiping in general... Probably hard to feel very religious when an Aeon kinda got your home nuked and ruined your life I feel, haha. He's more or less just wearing what he does out of a sense of homesickness and obligation."
