BBC licence fee update as millions could face £174 charge to watch Netflix

I really hope this doesn't happen. The BBC should just become a subscription service at this point rather than a penalising tax on everyone

How exactly did they see out of these things? Are there eye slits at the base, or is like a periscope thing with angled mirrors to look out of the eyes at the top? 😅

Just discovered people call him "Chatty G" which made me think of Ali G, so I asked chatGPT to make an image of himself as an Ali G style 'Chatty G' 🤣

Prior to Season 9 the Goa'uld always had an altered voice, unless the host was speaking (like the Tok'ra), but....

...but suddenly Nerus comes in on S9E6 and switches his voice to normal and causually drops that the Goa'uld don't always have to talk like that! Since when?? Then Ba'al makes more appearances casually speaking with a human voice more often.

Was this always established? I thought the voice was the effect of the Goa'uld taking over the host, not something they necessarily controlled at will. Typically it seemed like only when the human host spoke, the distorted voice went away.

I'm rewatching the whole thing so I don't feel like I missed this being an established thing in-universe, feels a bit like a retcon, but I can't think of any reason why its changed this season.

I'm rewatching the series and just got to S9 and I really don't remember her character from watching it years ago! I'm actually really enjoying her character and levity she brings, especially the tensions between her and Daniel :)

It was a very clever way to do a sort of clip show, but the massive retcon at the end saying Jack had also been having these visions for seven years and never said anything was more far-fetched than anything else in the series 🤣

We just finished watching The Mentalist and tried looking for something new that has lots of series like that. But the majority of new TV seems to only have 2 series or they are "limited series" with like 8 episodes.

Other than medical dramas which seem to go on forever, but my wife works in healthcare so doesn't want to watch it!
