This took like wayyyy too long. I didn’t think true metallic itself would also take this much time

I dropped the Eavy style midway and just went with this since painting bone armor was so time consuming

I gave up blending due to the complex shape

I’ll maybe paint Asmodai or Belial next. The dark angels heroes just has the most aura

Gave my all for Eavy metal this time.

I see that some aspects needs to be adjusted after the test fit.

I wanted to make it so that the side facing the ground reflects the reddish/orange environment.

Is there a way to stop your hands from shaking? I can’t get those clean lines. It looks wobbly still

This was so straining on my eyes.

I tried to make something a bit more elaborate than just terrain, shade and some grass. This is for Captain Lazarus.

I’m debating whether to keep the same consistent sandstone material or painting the rest as a colorful mosaic like those Roman floor tiles.

I would like to thank everyone for their advice/critique on my previous post. Now this is more satisfactory! I didn’t buy a drill yet so I can’t drill the barrel but painting it black will do for now.

Thanks to my previous posts and the interactions. I managed to improve the model. Now this is close enough to the box art.

I tried to copy the box art and….it looks like ass in the end.

I tried to copy it and it just looks nothing like the box. How do they do it?

Tried cause even after 4 hours this still looks like ass. How does GW even do it? The lines and whatnot.
