I dont like how certain superman fans treat superman being an alien as a plot device and not another core part of his character

I feel superman being an alien adds more to his motivation of protecting earth because he is the last member of a dead race and he doesn't want the fate of krypton to happen to earth. If you just make it that he protects earth just because he was raised by kind farmers it makes him less interesting.

For me it's Cade he just had this sleazy unlikeable vibe everything he was on screen. What about you guys ?

So which will be the better DCU project Lanterns or Clayface?

I think it will be Lanterns because its a tv show with more time but clayface is unique because it isnt about a superhero but what do you guys think?

Each year a Dune movie is released a marvel movie makes a billion

Think about it when Dune part one came out , no way home came made over a billion.

When Dune part two came out deadpool and wolverine came out a few months later and made over a billion.

Now Dune Part Three is coming out and another spider-man movie made a billion and same the thing will happen with doomsday.

Thought it was an interesting and funny observation

What are your guys thoughts on how dcu gotham looks in clayface compared to reeves gotham or joker 2019 gotham so far?

So far the gotham in clayface looks a bit uninspired compared to reevesverse gotham. There some nice shots but it doesn't look unique enough compared to reeves gotham

Will and should nolan produce a movie he doesn't direct or write like he did with Man of Steel.

I thought about how the only movie he didn't produce but direct was Man of Steel and he has never done that since do you think he ever will and do u think he should try produce movies to help filmmakers get recognition they wouldnt have before.?

This is a tense scene buts let's be real he would be dead

I get he isnt dead because the plot needs hank alive but even with the call warning him two people were going to kill him , hank would be dead because Marco salamanca should have shot him in the head or chest. If marco thought shooting him was to easy he should have brought the ax from the get go.

I dont get the "script is great, the issue is directing "in regards to defending supergirl

People try to say the script wasn't the issue it was the directing. While yeah the direction and visuals weren't great, the script is the issue because it lacks the depth of the comic and even if the movie was better directed with better visuals it would maybe have a higher critic score by maybe 70s but the movie. People accuse Gillespie of butchering the script but he agreed to direct because of the script and him and nogueira have been in interviews where they are in sync with most of the script being in the movie so there is no conflict.

Is a hot take to say I hope these two return to play Jor-El and Lara Lor Van in either a krypton project or superman sequel

It would be nice to see them come back and maybe have more of a role than just be a message that's looped over and over. I say this not just because they are great actors but also it would be nice to develop them more maybe in a krypton project(maybe a movie or show) where you could even have krumholtz come back as zor-el or a superman sequel where superman maybe through time travel or even in a vision similar to what all star superman did where he speaks to them and maybe he tries to redeem them from what they wanted him to do and maybe he forgives them.

Would you have been satisfied if Breaking bad ended here?

Say walt didn't see that interview with Gretchen and elliot and jessie was killed by Jack? Meaning he doesnt try going back to new mexico. It ends with walt getting arrested and he dies in jail even if it was brief. Would you guys have been OK if the show ended there ?

Anyone feel sorry for this version of Parasite

He is from the animated film Superman Man of Tommorow where he was just a janitor making ends meet for his pregnant wife and daughter and then a battle at the factory led to radioactive material and he devolves into a purple monster with his humanity barely intact and in the end dies. I thinknots really tragic.

For all the missteps marvel made post endgame they still manage to be able to get people to watch movies about lesser known characters than dc can.

Think about it Birds of Prey, blue beetle, black adam,The Suicide Squad all did poorly with now supergirl going to do bad as well. Marvel made a shang-chi movie that made 432 million, an eternals movie made 402 million and thats only because the movie was mixed , a sam wilson captain america movie that made 415 million , a thunderbolts movie which made 382(i would argue if it wasnt released in may and maybe came out late july it would have done slightly better). The only dc film post 2019 to match any of the marvel movie I mentioned was black adam and how much of that can be credited to it starring the rock. I guess what im saying there does seem to be enough confidence the general public has in marvel despite missteps to show up for a lesser known character than dc based off how supergirl is projected to have an around 40 million opening weekend. Im not sure what dc has to do be able to sell lesser known characters lile marvel dows

The way skyler and hank look at walt in these moments

It's these moments where walt still tries to act like the mild mannered man they know him and both look at him with such disgust because they see the lie I think it's so heartbreaking.

I'm really happy BND is a direct sequel to NwH instead of coming out after Doomsday

I feel like with MCU spidey that him appearing in other movies affect his solo movies like homecoming being informed by him meeting iron man in civil war, or ffh being informed by Tony's death in endgame.

Also I felt that if BND had come after doomsday as intended it wouldn't have been able to properly deal with his new status quo after the ending of WH due to doomsday.

I wish he did the superman score.

I liked David Fleming and some of john murphys work but I wish he did the score. Think about it he has done spider-man, batman,f4 I honestly would love to see him handle superman. Don't ge me wrong I'm curious how david Fleming does the score on his own for MOT but still feels its a missed opurtunity.

2 Questions I have about deadpool and wolverine.

  1. How much would you say the multiverse played in people's hype for this movie?

  2. What do u think the story would have been if it wasn't a multiverse film?
