Curious Identification of Bolete/Calobolete
The key to great science-fiction and general story telling is having all the absolute worldly facts straight. It was in the process of building some lore and background for potential music before we stumbled upon a new interest. We've been photographing a number of various fungi about our region... only to stumble upon a peculiarity.
We are near positive this is some sort of bolete or calobolete, yet we are unsure as to what kind just yet. We have suspicions, but this is in a more lived region of Mid Florida, found from a relatively small yard/grove space. Oaks about among with a wide number of ferns, other shrubs, trees, the soil being a mix of sand, dirt, refuse shells from seed pods, acorns, leaf litter, grass and weeds.
The primary images we have are of an aged sample we opted to pluck given its peculiar shape against everything else... only to find the next budding growths of fruiting bodies to also be rather warped. Images shared, and hoping to hear your thoughts.
Odds are very high this is just a common Bolete that has seen a strange balance in nutrition or fungicide. ...if we had the funding and space, we would adore to get more accurate samples ourselves. This field needs more feet on the ground as it is.
Pictures in order:
1: East Facing side during growth/pick.
2 & 3: More likely eaten by insects than grew that way? Possibly tore itself in strange ways in growth and other influences?
4: Top down, largest cleanest side grew towards west.
5: Among very same perimeter as the first, one day later after a rain storm.
6: Same fungus, different angle.
7, 8 & 9: Younger fresh growths. Also same region, could not confirm if we had snapped these when younger the day prior. ...Note to ourselves, likely bring some tag references for future photos. :)

<3 Another, newer, double-take on a C&C Classic: Act On Instinct
Glanced back a bit ago to realized some of yall enjoyed the first post we slapped in here, and cannot thank you all enough for the support. <3 This is.. well, not sure yet. Was simply experimenting as we like to evolve entire soundscapes as a song progresses.... but the trick there is; we need to have it done in specific layers a few times to really feel it out. Takes time. This is just the pair of songs before any real attempts to blend. The first... kinda... alien but goofy? Basses still low and not imposing, gently building to some degree with crunchy old 8-16bit sounding percussion. ...but if you want to skip that 'garbage'... 3:10 minutes into the vid, We encourage you to just not waste your time and listen to the song starting from there... :3
Think we're getting better... now time to get some original stuffs out there, or open up a request or 'bounty' board for desired midis, or ways to transcribe some old classic game soundtracks that are not publicly available, or even created at all yet. ....Starsiege Tribes, Tribes 2, Gunz: The Duel, Gunz 2, a LOT of the Command and Conquer series... as well as some genuine artists we would love help with tackling respectful covers with.
Late Edit. .....Lmao. We should also mention another noob mistake. We simply have not bothered to import or otherwise disable the midi tracks. No outputs there, but we suppose we do need to clear that up going forward. We may be making tutorials to encourage others to just ~go at it~. Maybe this came somewhat natural to us, but we also adore teaching.

So The Steam Release Sucked. The Music Still Doesn't. Producer Seeking Midis or a Complete and Accurate Database of OST Sheet Music.
Attempting to reignite a passion project... We've been itching to cover the Gunz 1 (as well as 2) OST, but the available media to work with is limited. If anyone may have access to a transcriber, we are more than happy to credit you for your contributions. While we are amateur and still entering, we hope this example of our quality will be enough motivation to relay that we are in fact dead serious about this project.

Amateur Musician/Producer here. Seeking Midis for the Soundtrack.
With our plates being rather full (and being flat broke and unable to shop for a transcriber), we are hoping to find and credit someone willing to build more available midi files to use for music, as well as the community.
We've been hoping to tackle a few cover songs or remixes from the soundtracks of both Gunz and Gunz 2, but battling the time it takes to perfectly analyze everything by ear is quite the task. This isn't exactly a huge priority on our list of things we'd like to do in the studio... but those tracks were our childhood and upbringing for a long while.
If we had to just pick ONE song to cover as well...? The lobby music. The classic lobby.
