COA worth it?

I currently carry a 19.6 that previously had a RMR HD on it. Took the RMR off to put on my new Staccato and was going to put my ACRO on my 19 but decided to send it for warranty work to Aimpoint before mounting it. Not happy with the RMA or the wait time and don’t know if I really want to do it again for my carry gun. Also I had Wager do some C ports and I now see the error of my ways between the porting really not making a difference and the chunks of shit that’ll fly out into my face sometimes.

I want to hear your guys opinion if replacing my current setup with a 19.6 COA is worth it. Preferably from people who have put a real round count and real range time on their COAs

Newbie Question

This might be a stupid question and if it is, I expect flack. I am very new to the 2011 world. Just picked up a Glockatto the other week and have been loving it. Of course this is now pulling me into the 2011 world and I am already looking into my next one. I am looking for a compact 2011 with a series 70 trigger.

My question is how much force does it take for the firing pin to make contact with the primer? I work for an Iron shop where mostly I am in the office but sometimes I am in the field doing hard labor and jumping off the back of normal size trucks and sometimes higher off the ground off the back of a Chevy 3500. Is me landing on the ground from those "falls" enough force to make the gun go off?

Staccato HD P4.5 Hot Spot?

Anyone who owns or has shot the HD P4.5, do you get two hot spots on the webbing of your firing hand? Wondering if this is normal or if I have bitch hands that are used to polymer striker fired guns

New to 2011s

Like the title says, I’m new to this platform. I’ve been a striker fired guy (especially Glocks) for around a decade now. Finally splurged and got myself a Staccato HD P4.5. Naturally as I’m sure everyone here does, they start looking for different parts for their firearms while sitting on the toilet. I guess I just kind of want to make it my own. I’m looking for any insights of what to avoid and what’s good to go. For example triggers, magwells and all sorts of other accessories. Already have my RMR HD and X300 on it so optic and light are covered. Thanks for the input!

She’s Ready

Optic plate and holster came in today. Only put 170 rounds through it last week. Planning on putting around 400 later this week to really get a feel for it.

Aimpoint Warranty

Has anyone dealt with Aimpoints warranty before?Need to send in an ACRO P2 due to debris on the inside of the sight. Wondering usually how long it takes to get back and if there is anything I should be wary of

First 2011

Been a striker fire guy for a little over a decade now. Just got my first double stack 1911. Honestly heavier than I thought it was going to be but that’s not a bad thing. Looking forward to shooting it.

14.5” Barrel

Alright ladies and gents I’m building a 14.5” and unsure what barrel to go for. This isn’t a budget build but I’m also trying to keep the barrel $300 and below IF possible. I’m looking for accuracy, durability and not heavy as shit. What are your recommendations?

Strange Message

Posting this here since the mods on r/firearms thinks it’s “off topic” and/or “low quality”

Anyone ever get a message like this?

What’s the next option for me?

I’m running an 11.5” with a Griffin Armament Recce-5K and a Geissele Super 42 with an H3 buffer and I’m ejecting at 1:00 o clock. What’s the next step for a reliable buffer setup that is high quality and will last
