Inspired by similarities i noticed between the story of Laezel/the gith and aot. Disclaimer, i haven't watched aot in 5 years and i stopped watching around season 4 due to loosing access to my membership to crunchyroll or whatever i was using, and not liking ads. I was like 15 when i stopped watching (season 4 was just coming out) and looking back on it, idk if i really understood what was going on. I remember finding it a bit confusing. Part of this could be certain parts (like those ad spacerd with lore) not being translated, and my adhd making me space out during certain parts. But it could also be that since i was 12-14 when i started aot (my crush liked it and thats why i started lmao) I was just a bit young to understand it. Idk, but im thinking of giving it another shot. Especially since the OST slaps so hard. Ive been listening to nothing but the aot ost for the past couple days (im also working on a parody animation featuring the aot intro and me waking up in the morning) since i like my music to match the art im working on.

Decided to do an art style challenge because I realized Laezel reminded me of aot. I just spent several hours drawing so im feeling too lazy to explain why rn. She'd be right at home in their world. Added shadowheart because its pride month. This took way longer than usual because i was trying to match the aot style as close as possible. I think Laezel looks better than shart tbh. Disclaimer: i never finished aot and haven't watched it in 5 years.

(For context i am in the pacific northwest if that helps) Hi! I found this tiger moth last night on a window. I am terrified of bugs but it was cute so I decided to face my fears and keep it as a pet for a few days. I captured it in a jar with a plant, some water on bottom, wet paper towels, apple sauce, jelly and a blueberry (i didnt know what it ate lol). I made sure it wasn't an endangered species too. I was wondering what environment it'd like? My mom said it might be too humid and cold in there and to take the paper towels out, but online it says they might like humid environments. So yea. Advice appreciated. Also I know they dont live that long but i still want it to have a nice life while its with me. I named it snowy.

Update: i decided its not very interesting as a pet, and i felt kinda bad keeping it in a jar, so i let it out. Its daytime, and idk what moths do during the day, so i left the jar open outside under a chair so it has some shelter. Was fun while it lasted tho

If anyone has any ideas for weighing down the bottom (the cardboard warps) leave them in the comments. I was thinking of gluing a spoon to it or something.

Hi, im working on an animation, and there are some parts i want some feedback on. I know i need to redo the initial sitting pose but i’ll do that once the animation is more sketched out so i only need to redo it once and not twice.

1. Back-back leg (yellow and gray)
2. Initial paw lift (blue). My friend suggested adding some more frames.
3. Head turn while sitting. Is it worth the extra work to tilt it down a bit? My friend said tilting it down might make it a bit better but i think it looks kinda nice as is, and tilting the head down might be a lot of extra work.
4. How’s that end pose looking? Does it look natural?
5. Are there any parts i need to speed up or slow down?
