Another bamboozled community day not one shiny. Not much on the megacom FLYMON joystick device. Is it worth it?

I am interested in getting back into spoffing. I use to use IAnyGo but that was very briefly a long time ago. I'm interested in the megacom flymon but can't find more than the information on the company it self. I got bamboozled by yet another community day playing normally with not one shiny and I'm done playing normally.

Glad side departments are protesting this anti jacket rule to be in compliance.

I've been shopping outside my normal stores and noticed many staff that stock in cold environments are fighting this anti jacket rule. Good please keep doing it. It's frustrating to have to take a jacket on and off each time you swing out to the floor, then to the back room and then again and again through an 8 hr shift. No that's bs. After our manager was irate with us on walk day I filed an ethics. Never in my 17 years have I known jackets to be a a fire-able offence. Never. It's inconvenient for us to repetitively take our jackets on and off through our shift to be in compliance. I'm not buying one from the company uniform store because they're a whopping $50 I don't have to spare when hours are cut and things are already tight. I already blew thru my clothing budget buying a few new shirts when we shifted to all back clothing colors 4 months before this roll out. No I'm not buying a whole new wardrobe to be in compliance. You get the one color you decided upon.

Neighbor keeps blocking mail box?

What are my options we have missed several mail drop offs a year and our hoa isn't doing anything about a neighbor insisting on using our mail box area as a parking spot. For loading/unloading zone and she is there for 2+ hrs in some cases. Several times she parks there over night and could care less when I inquired "Hey could you move your car and not block so neighbors can access the mail?" Nope she was snooty and rude about it. Now what?

Please massively complain to corporate abt this tshirt level warmth. This is bs.

Could you please all massively complain to ethics and your union abt these new uniform policies. Threatening staff with intimidation and firings is not okay when we are trying to dress warm enough to not freeze. They need to provide the right sized tshirt if they want it on the outer layer. i am going to step this up a notch h and begin formal changes because you all did not believe me on this.

Coworker is annoyed I'm scheduled similar shift and she's been back to calling out again.

Alright, if you begin to develop a pattern of high call outs ie weekly the employer will begin to schedule staff for the coverage. My coworker is frustrated that they've started scheduling me during her shifts and if she mouths off today I'm going to remind her employers do this when you become flakey.

No jackets no layering enforced. Who to talk to abt this?

We recently got new uniform and they’re 100% serious abt the tshirt level warmth. We work grocery and many of us work in stores that are cold in general. Stockers frequently go in and out of fridges and freezers and they’re being dicks abt this as well. How can I escalate this as they are failing at providing us adequate layering. we just have two tshirts we rotate thru and they didn’t belives me when i asked for a size two sizes larger to layer. This is bs. Now they’re threatening staff and pulling us aside to remove anything that isn’t the tshirt layering and this classifies into harassment I believe. Union won’t do dib s’hit abt this. I am considering an ethics report as this is going too far.

This no jacket rule is bs.

This no jacket rule is total bs. I did not think there would be a day I would have to request a dr note to wear a jacket or appropriate layering. i have two medical conditions that require me to dress appropriately and I think this rule goes too far.

Coworker has no authority to change schedule got confirmation from management she can no longer do this.

My coworker has some questionable traits and qualities for work ethics. She seems to like to change my schedule weekly and I got confirmation from management and our department lead that she has no authority to keep doing this. She is only doing this to my schedule. She does this frequently to cover her rear when she realizes she'll be alone on load day or if she wants to call out the next day (she has high call outs). When do I file a grievance against her for this? She'll get a warning from me that she can no longer continue to modify my schedule weekly without approval. I'm a little peeved that the scheduler is allowing this. Many times she just goes straight to the scheduler to make the sudden change. Frequently without my consent or last minute without the appropriate 48 hr change of shift notification. Usually it's like in the last hour of her shift. I will let her know today or when ever she attempts to modify my schedule she can no longer change it. When do I proceed with a grievance against her? She only does this to me none of the other 5 team members.

Annual surveys matter. Please do them.

My company does our annual survey in August and I always submit mine within the first week so I don't forget to do it. They are anonymous so please do them. Just office professional write your statements exposing all the daily bs you have to deal with. I know corporate read mine because they did an end to end walk and then they quoted "Where's your lead so we can talk to him." Then we told him "Oh, he's gone back to doing night crew shifts." Now our department manager might get let go because he refuses to stick to the schedule. Works over time a lot without approval. Refuses to take a lunch so he's getting at leas 30 min of daily over time which ads up by end of week. I know they read my survey as it is not coincidence they asked that question. Now our department manager will get a talking to from our district corporate person in charge of our department. If he refuses to comply to schedule he's gone. See surveys matter they expose all the daily bs we have to deal with and when corporate's eyes open to it they can make corrections appropriately. This toxic lead we've had to deal with for 1.5 years is going to go away. See surveys matter please do them. Most of them are submitted anonymously.

Remember you are disposable. Coworker 12 yrs got terminated.

It's always sad when a coworker who shows up to work, you see they do a good job, go out of their way for a company only to wind up being replaced by a younger, more vibrant, willing, no restriction schedule coworker. I don't know what they got her on but last week she just stopped showing up. No transfer, no nothing. I'm thankful she had a second pt job to cover the hour void to this place because most people don't even have that. At least she qualifies for unemployment. Union said there was nothing they could do. Sucks we pay into this union and they don't support us when we need it the most.

Retail/Grocery workers are not your friend.

I'm so fed up with customers that are bored out of their mind and socially starved that they go to the store and try to be friendly with staff. After a while they developed a report with them and I'm sorry but we're not your friends.

Manager forgot I was going on leave and approved another person's leave for vacation right abt the same time.

Manager knows I'll be on leave for three months come october for fmla leave which is non negotiable. As this company does not support light duty I'll be out for 3 months. Which I'm actually looking forward to. I am a little peeved he's allowing my coworker to take 3 weeks leave that was sudden last minute request. He fully knew I'd be out about then too. Now my department is screwed for help. Don't you like this company?

Stop asking for a pin code when there is none for the restroom. If it's locked it's occupied.

I am so sick of customers not understanding if the door is shut that the stall is occupied. Countless times in the last week I've had customers ask me what the pin code is despite it clearly not having one. Even if it's clear you can hear sounds of someone rustling in the restroom. I really don't understand how naive the general public can be at times.

They always make you feel guilty for calling out.

Our trash compactor broke and has begun filling our back room with a nasty odor. They've put in two maintenance orders for this and staff has been calling out sick due to the fumes it is seeping into our back room. I ducken hate management for making you feel guilty for calling out. My store is slack and has repeated high call outs weekly. Yet the hard worker that rarely calls out but save a few times a year they make you feel guilty for calling out. I will consider calling food health if this becomes an ongoing issue.

Tired of customers that won't understand "No, means no"

I don't mind doing mark downs for customers if it is valid to our rules. I'm fed up with the groups that take advantage of this policy. I recently had to cut another round of them off because they kept getting pushy about it. My job is worth more than you people saving 50% of your your bill for items or food you probably will never eat nor use. A few will always keep trying hoping that you forgot that you cut them off. I wish this group would just go away and leave me alone. No means "No!"

Shrinkflation got to art supplies too?

It's been over a decade since I became serious about art again. Last time I bought tablets for sketching i remember the booklets averaging 24-36 pages easily and pads for painting ran 24-32 pages. Now they're running 20 pages to 10 pages at best and five times the price. Paint tubes use to average 8 oz for the normal and primary colors ran the same price as all the others not twice the price. Anyone else frustrated with this too?

So, our new deli oven sounds like a vehicle reversing. Bravo who chose this sound?

The old one worked fine for well over a decade and we get a new one. When it goes off it sounds like a literal vheicle backing up with an identical sound. This is frustrating to staff and customers because it causes people to look around like they have to avoid a truck or form lift backing up. Who the bleep decided this? We also have another obnoxious sound that sounds like a damn fire alarm when it goes off and it isn’t a fire alarm. Its the forklift backing up that has an identical tune to the fire alarm to some home units. Who the bleep selects these sounds?

Next time customers ask me to cut off stems to produce in their hands while holding it I'm telling them "No."

We have this one karen that insists on doing this and she thinks she's being nice but from our point of view she's kind of a b'ch about this. Yesterday she demanded I cut off the stems while she held it and I told her my arthritis won't let me do that and she demanded it anyways. My blade almost nicked her fingers and next time this bitch does this I'm telling her I'm taking it to the back and if she gets fussy I'll just tell her "I checked the policy and I can't cut it like that." What a bitch. She demanded that we get her the smaller cuties from the back and ours came in whopping large and she didn't want any of them. I'm sorry dear but we don't control what comes in. There's a reason I walked away from you. Each time I tried to answer your question you'd begin to wonder away grabbing other items so you gave me zero time to respond. I didn't even fully comprehend your question because you didn't explicitly explain what you wanted. Next time you ask me to cut off greens while holding it your self I'm refusing that service due to the fact my arthritis does not allow me to do that. You're such a bitch. Next time I take it to the cutting board in the back or you don't get them cut off. Why the f'ck could you not twist off the greens your self?

Before I dive into oil pastels are there any safety things I need to know?

I know oil requires some safety things because the rags are flammable and the solutions you make require proper disposal. What safety tips do I need to know before diving into oil pastels? Are they flammable? Do I need to exorcise caution after putting them onto a canvas like letting it dry all the way before storing or stacking pictures together? Any proper disposal methods for these things? I use a plastic glove because I don't like the texture and feel of them and I'm glad I did because I'm finding most of the oil pastel sticks contain some toxins. To some this might be rudimentary of a question but when I google oil pastels safety I just get oil paints.
