Keep my SW RR card it it's a waste now?

I just signed up for the Sapphire card to benefit more travel options than SW. We do fly SW more than others being that it's at the least hectic airport in our city. .. we fly like twice a year. We drive to destinations more, lately.

My annual is up. Would you say it's worth keeping for the $99?

Lately we haven't had to check bags.. but I can see how that can offset the price.

Freedom or Sapphire for cc

Hi. We currently have the Southwest A.L. RR card. But we are coming up on our annual ($70). We normally fly SW due to it being the main airline at the smaller/easier airport. We usually travel by plane once or twice a year. We like the perks of the free checked bags and better seating.

But, sometimes we find better options with different airlines.

Like I said, we travel by plane(spouse and I) once or twice a year tops should I cancel my SW RR and get a Sapphire or should I keep the SW card for the perks of free checked and get a Freedom and use my SW only when I book flights? The $70 pays for its self.

Thanks.

Chase Sapphire travel card Vs Southwest card

I have a SW RR card and thinking of switching to a Sapphire travel card to get points for multiple airlines. Has anyone else done so? Is it worth it when it comes to points? I just want to get more options for travel instead of being tied to SW. We travel by plane once or twice a year.

Border Terrier mix??

Hi, We adopted these 2 puppies at 8 weeks and now they are 6 months. One is 11.2 Lbs the other is 12.8 LBS They were listed as pug/terrier mix . We couldn't figure out what breed of terrier though until I came across Border Terrier. The smaller one is more hyper and barks at every person and dog on the walks. The bigger one is more chill and friendly.. but very stubborn (like a pug) . Sorry for they messy couch. They just got through with their morning wrestling match.

Favorite Fort Worth restaurant

We are visiting from Houston and want to know the best restaurants close to downtown and even the Stockyards. As I said, we are coming from Houston so we like really good food and no chains. Touristy restaurants are totally fine if they are good. Casual and nice please.

I know when you search on Google it will show you the more popular for tourist which always is not the best.

Thanks.

Visiting from Houston

Hi all- my wife and I will be coming in October for 2 nights. We are in our mid 40s and don't party. We like good food, parks and she likes shopping.

What area is the best area to book a room? I'm assuming downtown?

We do plan on visiting the stockyards, Botanic Gardens, water Garden and I hear Magnolia Street is good for food?

Also, I'm an early riser runner.. so a decent place to run too.

Thank you!

Live Aqua Vs. Secrets Rivera

We love Lice Aqua. We went there twice in a row and looking to book for 2027. As we love it . We aren't liking the steady price increases as the property just ages. So I started *glancing* and similar resorts with a more mature chill vibe. Secrets Rivera comes to mind. How does it compare? Thanks.

Live Aqua, Cancun totally honest review.

Last week we returned from our second time staying at Live Aqua, Cancun.

Who is the resort for? People couples over 30 or solo travelers. Why? It is chill but far from boring.

The good-

The service is grade A. Even if you don't get the Aqua Club the staff treats you like family. The entertainment crew remembered my wife and I from the year before.

Ricky, Maria and Robin are great people!

The food! We loved all the food besides Hidden Garden (the Asian). But we are from Houston where the best Asian food lies.. so not the fault of the resort... But maybe put the sushi within the Hidden Garden instead of a corner kiosk? But everything else is excellent!!! Italian is our favorite.

The vibe. The pool isn't crazy. But it has a vibe. Everyone is just chilin but having fun. The night life isn't much but the small events like Trivia are super fun.

Just enough to do if you are more chill. Yoga, pool fitness, volleyball, pool bingo, cooking classes and at night there is trivia, a singer and then karaoke.

No drunk idiots. Even the youngsters who came acted very mature.

The bad-

It's a little dated for the price. You can see the age and the resort is one of the more expensive. But- I think they do that to keep the party out.

The pool chair/towel game has gotten pretty bad. But that's common at all resorts. We had to have our seats saved by 830 and the reserved beds are not cheap. It's okay though. I'm an early riser.

Back to the food and Hidden Garden. Move the Sushi there and it would be perfect.

Even though we don't need much entertainment.. I feel for the price there could be more shows and what not. But Ricky and Robin hold it down very well.

The time share was obnoxious the first time. The second they didn't approach us.

So who should book? If you are a couple that is in bed by 10-11 at the latest. If you care about quality food. If you are a solo traveler.

Who should not book - if you want a party. If you want to see lots of girls walking around in thongs. If you want foam parties. If you like lots of late night entertainment.

Are there always huge delays at the Cancun airport with Southwest?

Southwest never has delays for us.. except for Cancun airport.. why is that?
