I still can’t get over them making her overall worse and less fun compared to 70 damage era

I am trying, but i really can’t get over what they did to her. She feels like half a hero since getting 5 damage back and everything that followed after that. I was waiting 3 years for her Mythic skin and was quite happy with it even tho. a bit disappointed too but i almost totally dropped her because of what they did to her. Balance team ruined this moment for me.
At this point i really, really don’t care about 5 damage on her primary and would give anything to revert her back to pre 5 damage buff. She was much more fun to play and her kit felt more complete and more consistent for sure.

Summer White Fox MVP quality and length

This is basically my only real downside with the skin. MVPs are getting shorter and shorter and more simple even for the Legendary skins. Many of the intros now look better, more dynamic and more MVP worthy. Summer White Fox is the perfect example of this. The MVP should’ve been the intro, of Ami arriving on the boat while the intro should’ve been her MVP. It shows both Kumiho and Ami, it’s much more dynamic and interesting and it could’ve ended with her splashing the water towards the camera.

Thoughts on Summer skin SFX? Anyone else a bit disappointed?

It’s probably just be being so used to her default SFX, i simply love the way her primary sounds. But i am sadly not a fan of what they did with the SFX on her Summer skin, it sounds like i am filling a bathtub with water or something. There’s just to much “watery” sounds and i am not sure why that quirky, relaxing music during the melee form, lol. It barely makes sense.
Maybe this is just me nitpicking but yeah… will need to get used to these new SFX because i am like 50/50 on them.

Love the skin so much but got her on my last balloon...

Was totally expecting this to happen with my luck tho. It's ok cuz i had free units ready anyway but i wish i didn't had to spend 2.4k, also don't have enough molecules for the flower bracelets but oh well...

Her overall win-rates are around 50% but her pick-rates have skyrocketed, and i hate it.

Why does this literally always happens when she gets a more significant buff? It’s also not just low ranks thing, but high ranks too. Her win-rates are just below 50%, so they clearly do not warrant a nerf but why are her pick-rates so high?? Why so many ppl pick her for the orbs buffs? They don’t want her to be picked, at least not like this so i think that sadly some kind of nerf is coming in mid-season, even if she doesn’t really needs one. I just wish they gave her 250 health back instead of this.

I know that it’s unfair comparison but the jump in quality at least for me from her launch to her Summer skin is insane

I still got her ESU skin shortly after she got released but i have to say that i was never really a big fan of it. It’s just crazy to me how much MORE i like her Summer skin compared to her ESU one.

Something definitely seems off/bugged about her primary hitbox this season

I can’t be the only one, right? And i heard that few other Illari players talked about this but please, something seems really off about her primary hitbox this season compared to last one after the nerf. It simply wasn’t this bad, at least in my case. Nothing about my hardware changed but i am missing much more and i am having hard time to land her shots consistently like i used to, even after the nerfs. Some of them don’t reg but it feels like they definitely should??

Back to niche pick and sub 50% win-rates but now probably the least fun she’s ever been

So what was the point of increasing her damage by 5? To destroy her entire kit with nerfs over the past two seasons and put her back to where she was but now the least fun to play for the big majority of the playerbase. What did all the recent changes, starting with 5 damage buff, followed by all the nerfs achieve exactly?? To ruin the hero and make us drop her and play someone else?? Like for example that industry plant that gets at least 3 skins per season and has close to 50% pick-rates.

She is joining the girls next week! All 5 skins so far are Legendary so i hope and believe that Ami's will be too. Let's hope with chromas and Ult VFX too.

Anyone else noticed (and bothered) by new audio/visual cue when getting the 3rd tail?

Pretty sure that it was added recently and i am fine with the subtle audio cue but i am not sure what to think about the screen shake effect because it happens quite a lot during the match and it can be a bit distracting and weird.

Year and a half later i join the Champion club

I can say that i am maining C&D since day one but i've been playing and lorded few other heroes too. C&D always stayed my most played and most fun Support to play. I love how fun and dynamic their kit is, their interesting utility and ability to survive tricky situations. Too bad they are seen as skill-less healbot by many. imo. they are much more than that!

Please tell me that i am not the only one that noticed this. Why do some of her voice lines sound like old Illari but some of them sound totally different?? Accent is almost totally different on some of them. I am so confused.

It's some of her Mythic voice lines too, some of the sound totally off! Is this still Andre? Because it does NOT sound like her to me. Is AI being used here?

Current Summer Event Pass is a perfect example how to do them properly and what standard for them should be moving forward

Summer EP is by far their best executed one so far.
I only played few matches yesterday and few matches today and i was already able to get the C&D skin and all of their items.
Customization parts are obtainable from the EP directly and not a separate purchase.
All 3 skins come with full bundles, including emojis or moods.
Fishing mini-game is actually fun and there is a incentive to catch all the fish.

We definitely need more Event Passes like this one. It's pretty much perfectly executed.
